Breathing In Nature & Peace With Scandinavian decoration

Bohemian infusions to Scandinavian decoration mean more colors, more woven elements and more intricate patterns. Decorations and accessories take on a more natural aesthetic, with hints of world travel. In these four Scandi-Boho home interiors, the fusion of interior themes makes light and airy living spaces that communicate a connection with nature through indoor plants and a natural material palette. A sense of peace results from the natural vibrations, which are enhanced by earthy accents, handmade objects of interest and easy, windy arrangements. We will round off with a slightly brighter consideration of the aesthetics, where vibrant turquoises shake a quiet setting of white and wood tone.

A gallery wall of botanical art and an intricate pattern introduce boho vibes into our first outstanding home design. Skandi-style dove gray living room sofa makes a gentle accompaniment to the display of natural tones.

Down in front of the sofa, a geometrically designed rug stretches in shades of deep blue and shade. A small puff continues the blue accent shade in its boho padding.

A round lounge chair and a mature indoor plant pair to form a typical boho reading night ensemble, but a clever simple upholstery and a simple accent cushion bring back the simple Scandi vibes.

Outside the elegant little home, a deck is being built to extend the living space. A set of small outdoor chairs are turned out to the abundant green view.

The wooden deck splits into smaller wooden “steps” at one end that form a path through the landscape.

Inside the bedroom, a Scandi wooden platform bed is dressed in deep shades of orange and shade in a boho print. Dark shady scattered cushions are layered at the head of the bed, under a picture frame filled with dreamy botanical art. A simple round mirror adorns the adjoining wall next to the window.

Wooden bedside tables are equipped with elegant leather-looking handles. A sweet-smelling candy cane and a slender glass vase filled with dried flowers make tranquil decorations.

Within the clear white marble bathroom scheme, a wood-framed bathroom mirror and rustic wooden vanity make warming contributions. Shiny gold fixtures add a luxurious element.

Located in Barcelona, Spain, our second Scandi-Boho home tour begins in a lighted hall. A tasseled living room rug lies boho vibes under a Scandi lounge chair and a tripod floor lamp.

The Scandinavian style chair design features an element of cord wrapped around the frame that nods to the boho aesthetic.

Bottle-green split cushions add punk accents to the neutral beige chairs. The cushions connect with indoor plants that are scattered around the interior and the view of balcony plants that can be enjoyed through large windows.

A concrete planter was built on the covered balcony to house a bunch of flowering greenery.

Two woven chairs and a small round coffee table make up a nice lounge where the homeowners can drink together or read quietly in solitude.

An intricate black metal base gives the round coffee table a unique look. The table top is just the perfect size for a carafe and a pair of glass glasses.

The small kitchen is hidden behind wooden folding doors, which keeps the look of the open plan living room clean and clear when cooking doesn’t move.

A secret door leads to the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom, hanging planters create a wash of greenery over bright white cabinets.

A minimalist extra faucet fills the luxurious stone sink.

High-gloss white tiles run from the living room into the bedroom, where they create a clean, minimalist base for a comfortable upholstered bed. White wall panels complete the simplicity of the tiles and camouflage the door into the entryway closet.

The closet is a narrow but well-equipped space with ample storage.

Our third home design is a project in Colwyn Bay, Wales. Mid-century modern inspired Scandi side embraces the width of the living room, where fluffy imitation leather lounge chairs seem irresistible.

The bedroom is small but well arranged. A flat-textured bedroom rug holds together a pair of Scandinavian stools at the end of the bed. Rotating hanging light shades expand the symmetrical arrangement on each side of the bed.

The bathroom contains sharp black accents in the form of a linear modern bathroom, black toilet appliances and a black shower.

On our final Scandi-Boho home tour, bright turquoise accents rock a primarily neutral decorative palette. A large rug lays a simple pale gray base for the layout of the living room.

A round wooden coffee table offers a generously large place for drinks and light snacks during entertainment.

A decorative tray shows fluted glassware on the table.

The turquoise upholstered lounge chair forms the heroic piece for the lounge layout that inspires turquoise scattered cushions on the sofa.

The TV is mounted on a rotating bar to offer the ultimate viewing angle of various seating options.

On the opposite side of a wooden lath screen, a home gym is tastefully decorated with a chevron-effect wooden buffet and a painted arched wall feature.

A large indoor plant provides a visual buffer between the home gym and the home entrance.

Virgin white dining rooms are interspersed with heated wooden inserts where simple white dishes are stored and displayed. A barn door leads directly into the kitchen.

Base cabinets and knives put natural wood elements into the kitchen, while a green backsplash smooths into a soothing green accent color, and monochrome tiles spread a bold pattern.

Modern Interiors: Classical Art & Sculpture as Centerstage

Classical art and sculpture steal a central stage in these three modern home interiors, adding time to overcome attraction and intrigue. The art pieces absorb a character into their modern surroundings, build a culture and create a secular, sophisticated air. One of our home tours combines these classic art pieces with a colorful eclectic setting in Manhattan, where huge and luxurious rooms are full of decadence. Our second home tour takes place under dramatic arches that frame a gathering of modern furniture, contemporary lighting and traditional mural painting. Finally, the third home design we will tour will lead us to the future, where classic art will become the backdrop for a striking futuristic kitchen design and unique geometric furniture and accessories.

The first of our two home trips is an apartment in Manhattan with a high-end eclectic atmosphere. Four-meter-high wooden ceilings tower over a luxurious living room, filled with bold colors, dark wooden floors, and a tinge of neoclassicism.

The large hall is divided into two separate hall areas. Behind the room, an L-shaped sectional sofa arrangement, two striking upholstered lounge chairs and a low-profile bench chair make up a social, conversational arrangement. A powerful, muscular bust guards the seat, while a floral mural gives a delicate balance.

A large regional rug joins the living room furniture on a neutral pale gray island. Chartreuse scatters cushions on the couch playfully clashing with the dark pink lounge chairs.

A modern floor lamp creates a brightly lit reading area at one end of the sofa.

Other artwork in the room has a face theme with splashes of vibrant color.

An enviable home workshop in front of a spectacular city view provides an inspiring environment. The desk itself stands like a sculpture on strikingly contoured legs.

The classically inspired artwork comes with a provocative twist that gives the dilapidated room sensual energy.

In the second lounge area, yellow ottomans inspire a color from the flames of the modern fireplace, while teal upholstered sofas cool the room palette.

A leopard is spotted at the end of a drastically dark corridor.

In the luxurious dining room, a large marble dining table comfortably serves eight dinners. The chic, curved dining chairs are the Platner armchair designed by Warren Platner for Knoll.

Two exquisite dining room chandeliers drip with light-catching crystals over the table. Classic busts adorn each side of the edge-to-edge window.

One entire wall of the dining room is dedicated to storing and serving wine.

Wine glasses are hung along the length of the bar to ensure that one is never without a clean bar.

A massive mural depicts a deep gallery of classical sculpture.

Traditional ceiling roses frame the lustrous mountains, while modern perimeter light shines around the edge of tiered crown fusion.

In the main room, an upholstered bed continues the kerk accent of the living room. Next to the fireplace, baroque-inspired wallpapered panels communicate the dark pink element of the decorative palette.

A brass pendant light hangs a taste of Secession over the bedroom lounge, which also tastes the four armchairs below. Two side tables fall into a shake of bold purple.

The large glass cabinet builds extra depth in the bedroom.

A bedroom rug joins the two ottomans and bedside tables along with the bed, to clearly differentiate the bedroom from the bedroom living room.

Sculpture beautifies the footpath that surrounds into the master bath.

A full-size statue of Venus de Milo stands next to the bathtub.

An artistic rug creates a colorful core in the room.

Arches frame a meeting of modern furniture and traditional mural painting in our second art enriched home design. In the living room, modular sofas create a border of comfort under an arch that encompasses the entire space.

The warm combination of yellow tones within the wall art inspires the modern furniture upholstery.

One jewel serves the living room, while three make a very full statement over the dining table.

Equal globe table lamps add task lighting next to the sofa.

The oval dining table completes the spherical lights and the arches in the architecture.

Round-back dining chairs maintain the elegant round aesthetic.

Divine linens grace the walls of the living room’s combined dining room.

Finally we move on to a futuristic home interior, where classic artwork juxtaposes hard geometric furniture lines.

A classic murmur painting of cherubs brings an explosion of glorious color into a beautiful little reading corner next to the futuristic kitchen, creating an imaginary escape.

Geometric home accessories adorn the kitchen roof.

Copper trims to warm the cool kitchen palette, where they attractively frame backlit glass cabinets full of decorative vases.

Chiseled kitchen bar stools adhere to a network of geometric patterns in the futuristic kitchen design. The geometric motifs and silhouettes are counterbalanced by the fluid lines of sculptural artwork.

The apartment project “Stoned In Love” is a light and luxurious white interior accompanied by a mirror, metal and smooth marble accents. Displayed by Live In Design, the 87.3 square meter space in Bucharest, Romania, is a luxurious apartment full of exquisite decorative pieces and striking modern line artwork. Champagne gold finishes add just a hint of warmth to icy white backgrounds, while whispers of paler gray introduce a subtle hue. Luxurious bathroom design enters the realm of color under a fabulous pink tinted statement wall where the sweetness contrasts with heavy black elements. Find the complete floor plan included at the end of the home tour.

Three inverted arches form a distinctive modern chandelier over the white hall, adding a glitter of champagne gold.

A projecting table lamp adds an atmospheric embellishment to the TV wall, highlighting a wall of fluted plasterwork.

A mirrored strip crosses the ceiling plane, elegantly reflecting and doubling the beautiful hanging light.

Framed modern linear art is supported in layers by the television wall, adding a refined cultural element.

The artwork is gracefully raised on a marble plinth that forms a connecting piece with the contemporary linear TV.

A slit was cut into the textured plaster panel to seamlessly accommodate the floating TV.

A monolithic marble slab forms a bright square coffee table in the center of the luxurious lounge space.

The sharp marble coffee tables lie softly on a subtly trimmed carpet design. Smoky gray scattering cushions add tonal accents to the lightweight L-shaped sofa.

A ribbed glass door partially hides the contents of a well-stocked bar cabinet at the back of the room, revealing only a tempting glimpse.

Here, we can see how the thin mirror ceiling panel forms a full arch around the living room, with vertical panels reflecting the room on either side.

A tailored display shelf was created around the door of the living room. LED shelf lights show interesting design objects and a modest book collection.

A chic white sofa table creates a simplified visual separation between the living room area and an open sidewalk into the bedroom.

Concentric panel molding adds large-scale interest to simple white walls, along with a nuance of neoclassical elegance.

The ribbed face of the sofa table connects a text link with the fluted plasterboard TV wall, and with the glass bars on the opposite wall.

The living room stands open to a luxurious kitchen space, where the kitchen island merges with a beautiful surface with a dining table. Champagne gold modern dining chairs are woven with a pompous white covered backrest.

Champagne glow drips down a luxurious kitchen extractor, where a clean white hob is centered on the kitchen island roof.

A proper champagne glow flashes across the face from a wine glass storage shelf above the kitchen sink.

Slatted ceiling panels bring the ribbed texture theme to the kitchen dining space, while a stunning back splash pulls off the marble element.

In the bedroom, an upholstered bed, a large area rug and thick sheets create a peacefully quiet atmosphere.

A unique taut polar floor lamp replaces one of the bedside units.

A thin frameless mirror doubles the effect of the attractive slim tiny lamp and its brightness.

The delicate gold tension rods of the floor lamp are complemented by multiple gold support rods under a custom-made desk.

Panel molding puts decorative frames around the luxurious white bedroom.

A Houndstooth upholstered bedroom chair is paired with an art display where a unique self-illuminated marble plinth displays a classic bust.

A trio of full-length mirrors reflect a piece of interesting wall art. Two of the racetrack-shaped mirrors also serve as gateways for the bedroom’s walk-in closet / dressing room. Slatt ceiling panel marks the change of zone.

The linear art forms a focus when entering the bedroom, and is comfortably lit by a low hanging bedside lamp.

The bedroom jewel also illuminates a small gold side table.

The champagne gold finish of the modern jewel and tubular glass fixtures coordinate with the floor lamp on the opposite side of the bedside table, without being traditionally mirrored.

Houndstooth upholstery creates a common theme between the vanity stool and the bedroom chair.

A winged bed sheet, a soft gray blanket and a silver gray woolen bed create a comfortable aesthetic.

Large areas of white marble with thundering gray veins encapsulate the bathroom.

A contrasting black marble side table is included in the impressive shower, to hold fresh white sheets. Beautiful gold trim delicately touches the edge of the shower screen.

A captivating pink feature wall draws the eye to the vain area, where a completely black marble base supports a unique pedestal sink.

Gold tension bars approach mini-shelves to the basin, to hold essential toiletries and an aromatic cane diffuser.

A black toilet balances the dark volume belonging to the pedestal basin project.

The apartment floor plan generously shows a large dressing room measuring 9.3 square meters, located immediately at the entrance corridor. We can also see where the trio of mirrors in the master bedroom give entrance to a private dressing room, lined with closets and makeup vanity.

The Relaxing Quality Of Rounded Shapes In Interiors

The rectilinear shape has dominated our modern homes for a long time, but it is curved shapes that more closely mimic our natural environment. Curved lines smooth our surroundings and calm our souls just as Mother Nature intended, so how can we embody this main theme into a modern interior space? These two contemporary home projects embrace and fuse curves into highly polished settings where a clear minimalist design reigns supreme. Pure linearity is always present, but the softness of round furniture silhouettes and racetrack decorative elements brings a consoling balance to every plan. Here we will explore the inspiration for the rounded shape in luxurious lounges, peaceful bedrooms and chic modern bathrooms.

A round ottoman offsets the square sections of a modern sofa, where reddish pink accents add a touch of subtly sweet color.

Natural carpet matches the texture of the sectional sofa and sets up a simple base for the structured upholstery of the sofa.

The sofa layout is framed in a two-sided design that allows the homeowner to choose a location overlooking the living space or outside the window to the view.

The modular sofa can be rearranged according to the occasion, a new room rearrangement or the whim of the homeowners. Square ottoman sections can be used as side seats or moved to the front to create comfortable lounges.

A tall indoor plant adds height through the low pitched sofa layout, as does a fresh burst of rich emerald green.

A stone fireplace strongly emphasizes the wall TV, creating some needed depth against the flat gray paint.

Happy gray sheets frame the large windows of the living room, inspired by the darker shade in the sofa pattern.

The kitchen design has an elegant island with a dining table extension. A deep stone counter clearly separates the preparation area in addition to the dining area.

An induction hob with an integrated extractor fan is placed on the stone work table of the kitchen island. A modern fruit bowl provides simple decoration.

Three unique dining room pendant lights make a spectacular display over the central dining island, hanging large drops of soft light along its length. An L-shaped kitchen installation occupies a corner at the end of the island, where a dark gray stone back spout connects with the surface of the island.

The unusual chairs bring a warm orange bell to the dining room to elevate the predominant gray color.

An open shelf shows an attractive display of crockery and glassware in the L-shaped kitchen.

The open kitchen shelf is also well positioned to easily get clean dishes from the adjacent sink.

In the master, a cluster of rounded bedroom pendant lights form a sculptural screen over a linear bedside unit.

A stinging orange bedside table brings a round silhouette to the other side of the upholstered bed.

A full-length mirror is perfectly aligned with the top of the door frame to achieve a streamlined aesthetic.

The bedroom rug gently blends in with the floor tone to create a peaceful, natural palette.

Built-in wardrobes smoothly crack into an alcove at the foot of the bed.

The bathroom also serves as a laundry room.

A hippodrome shaped like a bathroom mirror brings curves to the bathroom to counteract a strictly linear bathroom vanity.

A mood light shines from behind the wall mirror and from a perimeter light above the bathtub.

The soft lighting creates atmospheric shadows around the room.

Floor plan.

  • Display: Ivan Petechel & Kut Victor

Displayed by Ivan Petechel and Kut Victor, our second curved home design is a bright and welcoming space. A curved sofa surrounds a round rectangular coffee table in the living room, while a running dining table curves the furniture behind.

The living room combo is decorated with a focus on the TV wall, where dark wood panels attract attention in the scheme of a white room.

The curved dining chairs are the A new chair by Marija Ružić Vukmanić & Ruđer Novak-Mikulić for Craftsman.

We return to linearity in the kitchen area, where a sharp edge kitchen island is decorated with fashionable wooden lath panels.

A tailored upholstered design is padded into a curved look in the master bedroom, while one end of a sofa sharpens the look at the other end.

Unique bedroom pendant lights echo the outline of the round bedside tables. Spherical glass vases add elegant decoration.

Dark wood grain closets flank the wooden cap of a bedroom TV, creating one solid focal wall.

A combination of white marble and a white image encloses the soothing bathroom. An independent bathtub inserts curves into the layout. A contrasting rustic wooden stool keeps soap dispensers close by.

A crack of tinted glass marks the entrance shower.

Uncut white marble and wood accents form these two interiors into chic modern living spaces. The laconic material palette builds cohesive spaces that are peaceful, soothing and unpretentious in their elegance. First, we look at a home where mixed material panel walls build an elegant TV and a striking hooded wall. The second home design offers beautiful inspiration for built-in furniture, including a suspended TV cabinet, a built-in window seat with storage and a neat double workspace layout. Each home design creates a coherent color palette through the defined material selection, to form comfortable environments that flow with a luxurious undercurrent.

White marble and wood paneled TV wall create an elegant predominant design feature in this chic living room dining room. The vertical panel layout cuts a clear, luxurious aesthetic into the understated neutral decor palette.

The small sofa threads a warm dull accent through the center of the living room. The sofa stands in front of a modern wooden paneled wall and a glass wall room that brings extra sunlight to the living space.

Recessed spotlights keep the flow of the room uncomplicated and unbridled.

Suitable cushions blend seamlessly with the sofa, and a suitable regional rug warms the tile floor.

A floating media unit makes a clean white strike through the marble and wood paneled TV wall. The modern unit provides discreet storage for movies and toys and offers a focus on which to place a number of decorative objects.

White front, no handles, white kitchen cabinets extend to the ceiling line to best use vertical space on the small kitchen wall. A row of wooden effect wall units color a warm core inside the pure white frame. White marble kitchen back shoe and roof are veined with matching tones.

Unique two-tone upholstered dining chairs surround the table. A piece of abstract wall art completes the chic dining room.

The shower door has a wooden end that merges quietly into the wooden grain wall. The front entrance door is lightly protected behind a narrow wooden lath room partition, which gives the neighboring kitchen and dining room a sense of privacy from thresholds. The panels also provide room for coat hooks to be mounted by the door.

Marble and wood wall panels add an attractive texture to the bedroom feature wall. A single bedroom lamp gently illuminates the grain and the bedside unit. Combination title = “50 Uniquely Cool Night Lamps That Give An Atmosphere To Your Sleeping Space”> Night lamps illuminate the other side. These are the Crescent light hanging
and
Lunar table lamp designed by Lee Broom.

An independent bathtub stands at the foot of the bed, creating a luxurious air.

Marble table tops elevate the rugged bedside units.

A brass bath taps chandeliers in the window light.

The shower is finished with matching brass appliances and a white marble wet belt.

A compact basin comfortably fits the small space.

A floor-to-ceiling vanity mirror creates the illusion of added depth.

In this square meter home, a gray carpet adds a deep texture to the fresh white and wooden living room decorative scheme.

An indoor plant adds a sudden burst of green into the soothing neutral palette.

3D wall art completes the touch carpet design.

An interrupted TV wall was created with simple white wall cabinets and a small modern fireplace that flickers warmly along a contrasting gray base unit.

A built-in window seat embraces the amazing view.

A recessed bookcase is hidden in the end of the TV, minimally displaying clutter.

A wood-fridge-freezer living unit and top cabinets contrast gently with fresh white units and a white marble back splash underneath.

Opposite the dining table, another TV wall is made up of both smooth and lath wood panels, with a mirror embedded to reflect the light.

The covered balcony is transformed into a double workspace / legacy cockpit.

The running-shaped wall mirror allows the bedroom desk to double as a dressing room.

In the home entrance, a linear wall light adds practical light with a complete mirror.

Built-in closets and organized shoe storage keep the home entrance tidy.

A round bathroom mirror sets a contrasting black frame against pure white marble wall tiles. A black shower screen frames the white wet belt.

Wooden cupboards change the material palette over a white marble cistern hiding place.

Concordant wooden wall shelves are installed at the sink where luxurious bathroom products can be kept outside.

White marble tiles enclose the appropriate bathtub to build a streamlined finish.

Fabulous originality and inventiveness went into the creation of this extraordinary house design. Displayed by UDesign, this house is not only a luxury home but an artwork. From the exterior entrance of the home with its drastically lined trees to the burst of color that awaits behind the door, this unique apartment is designed for someone who loves to entertain, impress and who enjoys the joys and discoveries of art. The tropical landscape also plays an important role within the magnificent interior, where it taps against edge-to-edge windows and translates into sculpted indoor plants. The greenery joins a powerful palette of glitters that paint vibrant and uplifting settings.

The massive luxury house outside cuts clear white line volumes through a green tropical landscape. In front of the house, ripe palms grow out in search of the sunlight, and a majestic mountain behind the house scratches the clear blue sky.

The palms walk in pairs in a high parade to the front entrance of the home. The modern house exterior commands the plot with a bold symmetrical shape that is cut by enormous expanses of clear glass that lighten its volume.

Massive multicolored artwork dominates the luxurious living room, where it inspires the color palette of an unusual selection of living room furniture. A delightful sofa design sets up a sculptural implication of a bright fuschia through a lounge area next to the fireplace. Ocher accent chairs flutter the yellow flames of a long modern fireplace.

The property is largely transparent, making it a challenge to deduce exactly where the tropical garden ends and when the extraordinary interior begins. The indoor-outdoor style ensures that all rooms enjoy the beautiful view, a key aspect of the property.

An engaging golden chandelier spins across the ceiling of the double-height living room, like fallen leaves picked up by the wind.

Huge glass doors retreat to the living room with the pool terrace. Two fresh white sofas furnish the outdoor living space, set on matching bold black and white chevron rugs. Royal blue scatter pads complete the eye-catching ensemble.

Another indoor lounge area is furnished with coordinating blue lounge chairs. Two curved sofas round out the seating plan.

In the luxurious dining room, a fuschia flowing gorilla looks out over the tropical setting. A spectacular piece of book-matched marble colors the wall with pure white modern dining.

Modern upholstered dining chairs host a dinner of eight. A focal artwork is embedded in the dining room wall and beautifully lit around its golden perimeter.

Behind the partition wall of the dining room a wine room develops. Huge wine storage cabinets keep the wine collection below temperature.

Two tufted sofas and a contemporary white sofa close around a TV wall.

Ceramic planters contain a multitude of mature indoor plants, Mother Nature’s own sculptural masterpieces.

Golden decorative elements weave a luxurious accent theme throughout the home that shines in the flow of sunlight.

Five gold stem turntable stools line up at a long marble kitchen island, with five coordinated hanging lights to illuminate each location.

A recessed track light surrounds the kitchen hanging lights over the island, and covers the kitchen preparation area behind the room to ensure a comprehensive task. A beautiful marble back splash extends to the ceiling.

In the large master suite, two unique bedroom hanging lights descend over a pair of pedestal bedside tables. A chic mural creates an artistic feature wall of botanical beauty in front of the bathroom, which can be accessed through open doors on either side.

The wall treatment is repeated on the other side of the room, around a bedroom lounge area. At the foot of the upholstered bed, an extreme couch overlooks the view over the terrace.

In the bedroom seat, four comfortable lounge chairs are dressed in rich burgundy accent cushions to match with the colors in the botanical wall treatment. A low circular coffee table creates a core for the round seating arrangement. See more round coffee tables here.

A sculptural bathtub forms the heroic piece of the luxurious bathroom design. Dark eye sockets wind from the sides of the modern slipper bath, mysteriously reflecting the light and the room. Black glass doors obscure two private toilets on either side of a double shower, where huge rain showers glow with a soothing color-changing LED light.

Areas of white marble cover the bathroom floor, walls and shower wet area. A piece of colorful wall art breaks the monochromatic palette. A modern ceiling towel eoesas the vertical line format of the bold artwork.

The round modern chandelier is loosely covered with a lightweight tube that complements the free-form nature of the bathtub. A small sofa sits opposite the tub, positioned against a deeply fluted wall treatment. Lilac accent cushions complement the colorful light that shines from the shower.

A more luxurious white marble forms a double sink for a bathroom with a common set of storage boxes underneath. A pair of run-shaped bathroom mirrors are installed in front of the window, tightly fixed between the counter and the marble clad window.

The opposite side of the modular sofa layout is directed at the fabulous city view, creating a second and very different loose experience more meditative for reflection or reading.

The airy double-height lounge area flows directly into the kitchen-dining room, which is easily tucked below the upper level of the home.

A modern kitchen island is located to enjoy the view. Repositionable track lights illuminate the preparation area and dining table.

A marble kitchen rear spout rises around double inland wall units. Built-in appliances sink into a wall with a dark lattice texture.

In the modern home office, the desk is directed away from the wall. Seeing the desk at the door creates a good Feng Shoe and sets up a commanding presence.

The L-shaped desk contains ample storage in its base to avoid visual offices. A backlit library offers a place to display a preserved collection of decorative objects.

The floating media unit in the living room merges into a minimalist console staircase project. LED stage lights illuminate the steps, while a large globe lamp emits an atmospheric glow below.

Upstairs glass sauna room offers a welcoming place for self-care at home.

There is also a home photography / video studio, equipped with a white screen, box light and full mirror. Linear wall lights are spaced around the perimeter of the round room, distributing even light.

A small lounge area is set up next to the sauna room. A piece of textured wall art makes a statement behind the modern tufted sofa, while a square coffee table and ottoman fill the remaining floor area.

The sauna area leads directly into a luxurious bathroom.

A narrow privacy wall protects the toilet from the bathtub and the rest of the open concept space.

LED strips illuminate the shadow angle.

The bathtub has a view outside onto the open living room below, and to the skylight beyond the double-height windows.

In the luxurious bedroom, eye-catching bedroom pendant lights bring a metallic accent into the dark walnut and black decorative theme. An illuminated marble headboard is framed in an asymmetrical arrangement with a modern platform bed.

A glass wall makes a clear connection with the private shower.

A black ceiling gives the shower an intimate feel despite its open sides.

The toilet concealed wall has beautifully lit embedded marble panels.

A basin unit is illuminated around the base to match the brightness of the bathroom feature wall.

The glass wall gives extra depth to the bedroom.

The second beautiful bedroom is decorated with a dramatic rock feature wall behind a tall buttress. A swing arm lamp is attached to a section of wooden panels that contrast smoothly with the raw rock.

A gray bedroom rug creates gray layers with the low bed and gray sheets.

Gray tablecloths gather in the corner of the room, creating a comfortable backdrop for the bedroom reading corner.

Another textured feature wall adds character to the third bedroom.

On one side of the upholstered bed, a group of unique hanging lights bring a bright brass accent. A simple wall lamp adds a green light to the other side.

Floating bed edges are attached to the textured art wall.

Home workspace / toilet enters the bedroom alcove.

Another vanity table resides inside a luxurious wardrobe, next to a beautifully tailored system of shelves, clothes rails and floating drawers.

In the laundry room, a washing machine and dryer are high to save space. Vertical shelf units flank both sides, storing laundry and household cleaners.

Tiny LEDs flash like starlight over the vaulted ceiling of a dream steam room.

All the bathrooms in the home are equally spas, dressed in smooth marble, atmospherically lit and custom-made.

The repeated combination of materials and colors throughout each room creates a coherent calm.

Despite the repetition in materials, each space has its own unique twist.

While the soothing serenity of neutral decor has its place and peaceful function, it is also a time for color, personality and the unexpected. Today we take a look at three amazingly unique and colorful home interiors that communicate strange creativity and delightful fun. Our first prominent home interior is a vibrant purple ibiza cushion with futuristic curves and fashionable terrace decorative elements. We are moving alongside Russia, where an interesting interior decoration scheme includes the rainbow in a small studio layout. Finally we climb to new heights of color embodiment in a home with a tailored red spiral staircase and green courtyard, and a host of modern furniture compatible.

Located in Ibiza, Spain, this unique and colorful home design measures 300 square meters. Inspired by the extraterrestrial landscapes of Lanzarote combined with the naturally bright colors of Ibiza, a bright futuristic interior was created. Lilac walls, a purple sofa and a matching ottoman give the space a vibrant basic color, while bright blue accents and a bold earthy plot enrich the scheme.

Wood was omitted from the project to conserve nature. Instead, shiny perspective and metals form the accents. A small side table threads an extra accent through the sectional sofa layout, where it reflects the purple upholstery.

Large windows and edge doors connect the interior with the beauty of the island. The concept for this home design was considered a future where man and nature coexist harmoniously. The result is a habitat that feels like it could be located on another planet.

Tailored furniture was designed to emphasize the futurism of the interior, much of it on a colorful terrace.

Money green upholstered dining chairs inspire color from the green patches on the terrace. A circular window cuts an opening from the terrace, where a perforated canopy filters the sunshine.

Two orb pendant lights complete the round window and the smooth contours of the terrace dining table.

Terrazzo pattern colors a row of rounded kitchen units at the back of the living room. A ribbed kitchen island holds a contrasting clean white finish and a striking purple roof.

Ribbed purple paneling provides a textured background for the arched kitchen cabinets. See more inspiration for using arches in interiors.

A color-coordinated purple sink and kitchen faucet merge with the bright workplace.

In the purple corridor, an arid courtyard darkens in the sunlight that pours through a round roof window above it.

Terazzo tiles fill the shower, behind a blue tinted shower screen.

Man-made cactus stands to catch discarded clothing or fresh cloth.

Purple panels cover a bathroom wall and disguise the door.

This 52.02 square meter studio is located in Korolev, Russia.

A rainbow of accent colors works to zoning different areas around the small home. A pink kitchen island floats all alone in the center of the space, while a purple gradient frames the kitchen towers.

The tufted sofa sets an earthy beige moment among the myriad colored accent pieces.

The bedroom area of the studio apartment is revealed behind a sliding bright orange screen. The interior of the bedroom is an unsaturated decorative pattern only gray and white. The purple kitchen cabinets continue down the hallway of the home, where they create a bright first impression at the front door. Textured area rugs match a comfortable color throughout the living room floor.

A console table reflects both the pink color and the curves of the kitchen island at the back of the room. Colorful decorative vases adorn the top of the floating console unit, along with a collection of design books and interesting art prints.

Mirror and hammered steel panels reflect the colors of the room, and reflect natural light deep into the space.

The simple white dining room hangs lighted threads across a cool concrete ceiling that serves to counterbalance the multicolored furniture. Indoor plants grow a burst of greenery around the dining room and across the metal-covered window sill.

Black and white quartz stripes across the pink kitchen island.

A black kitchen tap darkly accentuates the black vein.

Atmospheric light shines in the home entrance.

Lively artwork enlivens the home.

Our ultimate unique home interior has a tailored staircase project born out of the client’s desire for a staircase with light visibility, and the designer’s vision of a core sculpture for the house.

The staircase design forms a modular wave of red steps over a small green courtyard.

The spiral staircase and complete stepped patio design inspire an interior of contrasting red and green furniture and décor.

The contemporary parametric spiral winds through various levels of the house, leading with it the bright red accent color.

The bold color story gives the home a unique identity.

Red and green artwork repeats the color and profile of the Harmony Stairs.

Pure white walls and a bright wooden tone give the lighter elements space to breathe and command.

Chic and sophisticated in its sheer modernity, this untouched home project puts family life through a serene filter. Designed by Darya Maiorova, this family home interior has soft upholstery and rugs that are boldly lightweight to lift open living space. Black accents are used to add depth and brightness to the neutral environment, across a declarative kitchen back splash and a black accent window reveals. The children’s bedrooms themselves are light, crisp and elegant, with tailored children’s desk projects and decorative shelf walls. The parent room is a place for a quiet recovery of the children, with its own quiet workplace. Bathroom inspiration comes with contemporary vanities and boldly contrasting black fixtures.

Reuleaux triangular nest coffee tables overlap in the center of the peaceful, lightweight modern living room, adding a moment of smooth wood tone.

Two open modular sofas form a connected free-flowing arrangement. Dark accent cushions dot its lightweight padding.

On the other side of the large area rug, a modern TV stand is flanked by windows on either side. Pale sheets contrast with black painted window coverings and color coordinated radiators.

Two freshly white lounge chairs form a third wall of seats, along with two dark contrasting side tables.

A small tree was introduced behind the lounge area to contain a touch of nature, a splash of invigorating greenery and an element of elegant height.

The kitchen and dining room are developed behind the open concept. Wooden effect panels enclose a beautifully curved feature wall at the end of the kitchen runway that eoesas a curved microcement wall at the opposite side of the walkway.

The small side table at this end of the living room has a round silhouette to complete the curved walls.

A black back shoe and roof cut through the wooden effect kitchen, interrupting the soft, warm aesthetic with a dramatic sweep of deep shade.

A round pedestal dining table uses the black accent theme, and launches a fashionable ribbed texture. Four modern white dining chairs surround the black dining table with moments of light soothing. Decorative bowls arrange an elegant table centerpiece.

The kitchen “rear spout” is actually a set of shallow smoky glass front cabinets that reveal softly lit glimpses of cutlery, coffee cups, and kitchen appliances. The surrounding wooden cabinets extend to the ceiling line to capitalize on vertical space and build a clean, streamlined finish.

Modern linear wall lights give a warm glow on both sides of the bedside table, where integrated switches and sockets are inserted directly into the cushioned upholstery.

Contemporary bedspreads contain curves in the scheme.

A large indoor plant is included here as well in the bedroom, fostering a sense of serenity in this adult shelter away from the household children.

The black window reveals that treatment is repeated here, giving the light bedroom more depth and interest. Clean veils in the wind frame the large windows.

A third line wall light illuminates a bedroom workspace.

The tailored desk project is expertly shaped to follow the inner curve of the wall.

A restless modern desk chair accompanies the unique floating desk.

Next to the bed, a door leads to a proportionate closet. Thin LED strips highlight the edges of a smart closet system that is stacked with shelves, clothes and built-in chests of drawers.

In the minimalist master bathroom, a unique bathroom sink crosses a custom cut floor-to-ceiling mirror. A black bathroom faucet protrudes from the glass.

A small rustic stool adds a natural touch to the shower.

A fieldless shower screen leaves the bathroom window completely unobstructed.

The common nursery gets a child-friendly twist with a cool space-themed wall. A single channel tufted headboard connects twin beds together under a black track light.

A light bedroom rug ties the beds together at the foot.

Interlocking, frameless interior doors extend all the way to the ceiling line throughout the home.

Decorative wall shelves paint a modern pattern across the window wall.

Twin closets line the side of a child’s study, where more storage is revealed behind sliding wooden doors.

Black paint around the bedroom window points to a small, comfortable window seat above the radiator.

The second children’s space in this home is a single bedroom with a soft colored touch. A cushioned wall panel extends the children’s upholstered bed across the length of the room, creating a comfortable backing.

Two square ottomans provide occasional seats for friends or siblings.

A small wall lamp shines a focused reading light over the cushions.

The children’s desk design in this room serves as a double duty as a bedside unit. An icy blue finish accentuates its attractive round drawer.

The pale blue accent is repeated in a floating storage unit on the adjacent wall, and through a series of decorative pin shelves.

Children’s wall art extends the blue palette.

The family bathroom is oriented to fraternal harmony with a double sink. Wicker washbasin baskets are hidden underneath.

Wooden panels hide the toilet cistern.

Microcement neatly encloses the adapted bathtub, fusing it with the coordinating walls.

Black bathroom weapons stand out darkly against the pale wall therapy.

Wooden panels frame the end of the corridor.

Peacefully Pale Tonal Decor With Warming Wood Accents

Pale tone decoration creates a wonderfully airy and balanced home interior that evokes a sense of peace and harmony. These two soothing toned interiors use wooden accents to add warmth and texture to the pale palette, and small black bursts to anchor the lightweight scheme. This is a color palette that translates seamlessly into every room and region of the home, from relaxed living rooms and clean kitchen projects to quiet bedrooms, elegant home workrooms and modern bathrooms. To prevent the mild monotony, these inspiring home projects show how to include unexpected elements of contemporary design and individualistic layout to break the repetition with a striking character.

In Kyiv, this modern home interior has a bright tonal palette of gray and fresh white paint. On the modern sofa, a single tan accent pillow connects with areas of warm wood tone around the room.

Walls are empty of artwork in the minimalist living space, but a pair of chic plant stands add decoration and texture. A pale gray regional carpet softens the wood flooring.

Oak efficient units provide coordinated storage solutions throughout the home. A sliding door opens the side of the living room to join it with the neighboring kitchen and dining room.

A pair of lounge chairs, an elegant modern floor lamp and a small side table make up a comfortable reading corner by the window. An elevated floor creates a clear separation from the adjoining dining room.

Surface mounted spotlights and track lights distribute even light throughout the home.

A small key shelf uses a narrow wall space in the entrance, where a cane diffuser emits a welcoming scent.

A simple gray entrance bench and a wide full-length wall mirror form a dressing point next to a set of two-tone white and wooden cupboards.

Statement door handles give the entry units a unique modern look.

As we turn to the kitchen dining room of the home entrance, another wall of storage cupboards includes a built-in bookshelf as a break for decoration. A black back material gives the niche extra depth and contrast within the white and wooden surroundings.

As we enter the hallway to the bedroom, a floating shelf is subtly accentuated by a color-blocked paint effect.

In the main room, wall lights conduct surface-mounted electrical wires into an industrial-effect display above the bedside table.

The channel tufted upholstered bed puts a luxurious gray accent in the predominantly white bedroom plan.

A home office cube was formed at one end of the bedroom, surrounded by storage columns.

Wooden cupboards surround the desk space.

A white office chair completes the pure white floating desk. Hanging plants grow a soft screen between the desk and the sleeping area.

A floor vase and dried pampas grass make a high decorative screen at the window, where white veils filter the sunlight.

Advancing into the bathroom, we find a highly accented decorative scheme with a black basin, matching round mirror, toilet and shower.

A pillar of black honeycomb climbs the cistern’s hidden wall, causing the black toilet to be camouflaged against its coordinating background.

Wooden effect cabinets build a bathroom tower by the vanity. A black framed shower screen draws a definite contour around the shower.

As we enter the open layout of our second prominent home interior, we come across a soothing plan of a white and wooden living room. An entire wall of white kitchen cabinets falls quietly into the background. A kitchen island floats freely in the layout where it defines the edge of the dining room. A modern sofa marks the living room.

Double-sided doors approach to separate the wide-open living space when desired.

The minimalist kitchen island offers a tiny variation of tone from the white kitchen run. A natural wooden food set resists the coolness of the kitchen materials.

Perimeter lights illuminate curly white closets that surround the walls of the corridor, creating a runway to a majestic recreation of the Venus de Milo.

Drawers build a plinth under the sculpture – a project repeated in the window area of the bedroom.

A pocket door neatly closes the bedroom.

A wooden bedside table stands out warmly against the pure white bedroom decor. The bed is positioned centrally, which creates a natural walkway around it that leads into the dressing area. A block of white closets divides the dressing room from the bathroom.

Bedside units are built into the headboard to keep the look streamlined. Slimline floor lamps save space on the narrow shelves.

The back of the bedboard doubles as a desk. A small top hides the workspace from the rest of the bedroom to keep a quiet atmosphere.

A second pocket door in the bedroom leads back into the hallway and further into the living room. A wide plank wood floor visually increases the spatial sense.

Creamy decor and comfortable lighting evoke a sense of calm in this relaxing modern home interior, located in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine. Displayed by Julia Artukh, this chic home design is smoothly composed of elegant modern furniture under a gently rounded motif. Contemporary lighting solutions are becoming a dominant theme, with an abundance of wall lights, floor lamps, modern chandeliers and table lamps coming together to create the highest atmospheric atmosphere. Ribbed wall panels and arched kitchen cabinets add modern nuances of texture and elegance to the timeless cream palette and wood tone of the home, while decorative vases and unique spotlights eliminate all monotony.

Smooth cream walls paint a resting cocoon around the living room, where a modern modular sofa design shares the open floor plan with a softly rounded silhouette.

A cream-colored rug further defines the small lounge space within the open concept. A round coffee table puts a bold dark anchor.

Instead of the obligatory TV, a unique wall light is given a place in front of the sofa to create an atmospheric illuminated focus. A projector is available to provide the evening entertainment, without the constant visual clutter. Ribbed plaster tops the multifunctional feature wall with an edge of fashionable texture.

A small salsa occupies the corner of the confined space, next to a built-in bookshelf. Interesting design objects, decorative vases and a moderate selection of books fill the wooden shelves.

A projecting table lamp lies on top of a wrap-around shelf that starts over a deep sideboard in front of the couch and ends as a cut accent across the bookshelf.

Behind the open layout, an L-shaped kitchen installation encompasses the dining room. Arched cabinet fronts add a touch of classic style to the modern units.

Vibia Time dining room pendant lights make a neat trio along the length of a wooden runway in the shape of a dining table. Their dark finish connects with the set of modern dining chairs that carve interesting profiles into the bright surroundings.

An unusual decorative vase makes a conversational piece in the center of the table runner.

The same black wall lamps illuminate the square home entrance, along with a pair of round colleagues.

An elegant competition wall mirror helps increase the feeling of light and space in the compact corner.

A unique entrance chair listens to the arched main theme in the kitchen.

A stone entrance table sets up a neat place on which to pick up keys and phones.

Attractive closets add the warmth of a wood tone to the extensive cream color scheme.

Advancing into the master bedroom, we discover a tailored upholstered wall that creates a soft cushioning across the entire width of the room.

A black bedroom rug contrasts with the lightweight upholstery and textured creamy wall. A modern chandelier complements the black accent rug with its own dark finish.

The ribbed carpet also holds a tactile connection with the fluted wall paneling, creating one coherent textured theme.

Cream window blinds match perfectly with the upholstered bed to create a quiet visual flow around the room.

In the evening, bright perimeter lighting accentuates the ripples across the capture wall.

The closet project first seen in the home entrance is repeated here in the bedroom. Transparent screens suggest the contents of the closet, while wooden frames form a facade of graceful arches.

Modern bedside lamps burn a pleasant atmosphere of two floating drawers that protrude from the edges of the upholstered bedside table.

Clean veils filter strong daylight from the large window.

The bedspreads are finished with elegant black tops to follow the dark accent theme of the serene bedroom.

A smart alarm clock with brass trim matches the two stylish bedside lamps.

A comfortable reading corner was prepared by the bedroom window, where the radiator burns warmly in winter.

A wooden chevron floor runs through the main living space for continuity.

Light switches and telephone charging points are placed in the textured padding of the head.

The bathroom is a peaceful space covered with cream stone. Brass bathroom appliances and wooden elements warm up the lightweight decorative scheme. Ribbed wall tiles introduce texture through the back splash of the bathroom vanity, behind a smooth contest-shaped basin and a decorative vase of beautiful greenery.

A unique vanity mirror shines against the textured bathroom wall.

A floating vanity unit hangs a complementary wooden accent under the round mirror.

The cistern wall is covered with wooden panels and covered with two-door storage that matches the aesthetics of all the storage cabinets in the home.

Ribbed wall tiles make a second appearance in the entrance shower, where they build a textured wet wall.

A wooden soap dish makes a charming decoration on the side of the built-in bathtub.

A hanging wall light descends over the fitting bathtub, casting a resting protrusion.

Mid-century modern encounters a crash of contemporary and classic decorating themes in these three home projects. Each exquisite interior takes a sip of many eras and styles to create interesting combinations that excite the eye. We first travel to a lake house that includes an eclectic combination of elements to form a chic and sophisticated home, and classic art pieces absorb culture. Our second tour takes place under ornate ceiling roses and intricate cover, where graceful window arches inspire curved furniture silhouettes juxtaposing sturdy mid-century pieces. Our final featured home has an ethereal white scheme in which modern gold and marble accents are mixed with antique style chairs and traditional sculpture for an attractive result.

Located next to a small lake in Spain, this elegant home has been designed to limit the need for artificial light sources and instead benefits from a natural setting of the tranquil landscape.

An L-shaped modern sofa cuts a linear silhouette around the living area of the open concept living space. Creamy soft furniture and white walls paint a peaceful and dreamy scheme.

Thin candles and a trio of black candlesticks make a high table decoration next to a short stack of coffee table books.

A black fireplace balances the dark color of the modern coffee table, forming a more traditional atmosphere.

A classical sculpture is displayed on a simple artistic plinth with gracefully arched windows.

Proceeding under a wide archway, we move into the free kitchen dining room. A large dining room lamp hangs a translucent paper shade that allows the natural light and landscape to shine through the window behind it.

The spherical dining room lamp completes a round pedestal dining table beneath it, where a decorative glass vase adds a beautiful botanical ornament. Mid-century dining chairs surround the white dining table with boldly contrasting black upholstery and dark wooden frames.

Behind the dining room, solid white doors hide kitchen appliances. A long kitchen island with traditional pearls stretches ahead.

Rectangular displays precede a number of decorative cabinets on each side of the kitchen, where cutlery and wine glasses can be aesthetically displayed.

A black kitchen faucet sharply contradicts with the pure white marble counter.

Our next tour takes place in a 106-square-foot home, where ornate ceiling roses and intricate cover crown a room that is bordered by graceful arched windows. The classic architectural arches inspire an interior layout of curved furniture silhouettes, including a curved sofa, a round coffee table and a large round rug.

The curved living room furniture juxtaposes sturdy mid-century pieces in an open layout.

A high arch gate connects two rooms, creating a beautifully framed vignette on either side.

The dining room is furnished with the Armchair designed by Pierre Jeanneret in the 1950s for the famous modernist city of Chandigarh, India, designed by Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and their team.

The rustic furniture set makes a textual contrast with an elegant modern one wall kitchen.

Curved cabinets round off the ends of the kitchen run to complete the interior architecture.

A pocket door appears inside one of the arched doorways to give the bedroom privacy.

In the minimalist bedroom, a rustic platform bed faces a pair of beautiful arched windows. A home workshop extends under the glass.

A slim floor lamp and a gold side table make chic bedside accompaniments. A striking marble wall rises behind the headboard.

Behind the screen of solid marble develops a delicate bathroom, with a luxurious light gray stone resin bathtub and shiny pale gold appliances.

A small side table serves toiletries to the tub, while the modern gray canvas is equipped with a concealed cupboard above the sink.

Floor plan.

Our final home tour is an ethereal white interior with an attractive eclectic collection of furniture. In the living room, a large area rug brings together an arrangement of contemporary upholstered white seats, metal tables and modern mid-century-inspired chairs.

Black and white photographic prints enhance the monochrome effect of a modern black marble fireplace.

Timeless white sheets dress the large windows of the living room.

A mature indoor plant plumes the edge of the living area, creating a smooth transition into the kitchen meal.

Simple pottery adds subtle decorative moments.

Textured wall art makes waves through simple white decoration. A unique floor lamp undulates a complete silhouette.

As we move through the open concept into the kitchen, we arrive at a stepped layout of white kitchen units with a red alignment with frameless interior doors.

A log shop fits into the side of the chimney to burn the wood burning and create a naturally decorative moment.

A white marble island elevates the kitchen design.

The antique style chromed tubular steel and brown leather dining chairs are reminiscent of Marcel Breuers ’console chair.

A unique mirror makes an artistic addition to the dining room.

The animal statue in the centerpiece arrangement is the Statuette of bird L’Oiseau designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroulle for Vitra in 2011.

A classic statue is displayed in a modest place at the door.

Slatted panels and natural stone bring a deep and luxurious texture to this chic modern home design, pictured by ArtPartner Architects. The text decoration is smoothed with curved furniture lines and graceful classic arches within the high ceiling architecture. Large living spaces radiate elegance under a delicate tonal color palette of warm Belgians and soft browns. Copper accents add a rich and shiny element within the attractive kitchen design, where a stone island sets a solid anchor in front of a kitchen run hidden behind lattic doors. The text theme matches across all, with lined feature walls clearly countering curves at every beautiful turn of the sumptuous residence and an impressive master bedroom.

A curved sofa embraces the living room perimeter with a swing of soft deer brown. Combines modern seating and ottoman point circular accompaniments.

In front of the curved sofa, a round coffee table creates a core for the loose furniture layout. A circular chandelier carries the curved shaped theme to the ceiling.

Modern wall applications are paired vertically behind the sofa to form a decorative column of soft atmospheric light. A contemporary lamp sits low at the armchair to distribute even brightness.

The large modern chandelier benefits from the impressive ceiling height in the living room. Surface mounted floodlights ensure practical spacious lighting.

Natural woven carpet softens the wood laminate flooring.

The TV wall includes a tailored wall bookcase that shows only glimpses of the home library from behind dark wooden lattice doors.

A luxurious marble fireplace runs across the length of the room, with a small modern fireplace flickering neatly at just one end of its elegant stone surface.

Wall mounted OLED TV stands as a pride among the floating bookshelves.

The dining room is a chic, sophisticated layout with a delicate palette of deer and gray. Light brown upholstered dining chairs surround a cool stone dining table with moments of visual warmth.

The rounded silhouette of the dining room chandelier and the curved rear dining chairs complete a row of classic arched windows. Venetian blinds fall in front of the arched glass, where they cause an interesting cross effect against a surrounding wall of ribbed paneling.

An attractive botanical ornament adds a wild hue to the refined food. Feather feathers of pampas grass make a tonal connection with the brown padded dining chairs.

The kitchen is an attractive space set under a high sloping ceiling with large velvety windows that drizzle abundant natural light.

The light from the velvet windows is perfectly positioned to play on two shiny copper kitchen drawers, causing a spectacular glow.

A tiled floor is formed in an arch beneath the beautiful solid stone kitchen island to honor the home’s architectural arches.

Dining chairs are set up along the edge of the kitchen island to form a breakfast room.

An inserted induction hob brings the cook to the diners.

Ribbed plaster panels texture a characteristic wall against the island, around the bay window of the kitchen.

A small seat is arranged in the bay window as a place to watch or watch reading under the unique floor lamp.

A small side table offers a place to cook tea or coffee.

Behind the kitchen island, the remaining kitchen cupboards are revealed from behind a wall of capped doors that match perfectly with the bookshelves in the living room.

A copper kitchen faucet melts hot with the brown cabinets and a coordinating counter.

Advancing into the private pattern, the color palette cools to a completely gray scheme. A gray and white houndstothoth rug is spread out under the gray bed, and a gray bedroom chair occupies the corner.

Elegant arched windows gracefully jump beside the bed. Modern round bedside tables complete their perfect curves.

The deep headboard multitasking like a bookshelf and a comfortable bedroom workbench that remains peacefully hidden from view. A curved back seat dives just below the surface of the incognito desk, staying neatly out of sight.

The bed is angled to a large balcony and an amazing wide open view.

A wall of fluted glass separates the sleeping space from the bedroom entrance, and forms a comfortable screen around a comfortable seat.

Sculpting hanging lights descend on the seat, where a planter of pampas grass rises softly to highlight its texture and color.

A change in floor covering takes place under the two club seats, to mark a change of function.

A slimline additional floor lamp provides a reading light next to the bed.

Lightweight switches and convenient charging points are framed directly into the deep multifunction headrest.

Textile botanical displays soften the corners of the room, while plaster wall panels preserve modern clean lines.

Ribbed, lute and flute materials make a linear counterpoint with the arched windows and doors in the home architecture.

An arched doorway with a dramatic deep reveal gives an impressive first impression at the home entrance. An arched mirror reproduces the aesthetic.

In the luxurious bathroom, linearity reigns supreme with ribbed single facies and a sharply square vain mirror.

51 Spiral Staircase Designs That Build A Unique Twist

Often, spiral staircases are installed simply as a way to combat the problem of limited space, as they usually take up less space than a straight set. Thanks to their curved shape, they are also more suited to a more centralized position without causing an unpleasant pause in a free-flowing arrangement. That being said, the spiral staircase projects we are looking at here have either a big impact or a huge one in terms of their elegant modern stature. We’ll take a look at narrow wheels that explode with color, style and innovation, some larger spirals and spiral staircases that cut extraordinarily beautiful and sculptural silhouettes into their surroundings, as well as a selection of colossal feats of grand engineering.

Cool cascade. This solid swirling white railing breaks into a cascade of concrete at its base, where heavy steps seem to float absolutely lightly.

Turn up the heat to increase the color. Hardened steel shines an incredible shade of deep purple with rainbow flares, making this heat-treated balustrade an amazingly focused piece within a quiet monochrome setting.

If you’re hungry for even more color, then augment your shiny spiral staircase project with a finished rainbow finish around the coils.

Looking like it exploded from the swirling sky of Edvard Munch’s painting, The Cry, this artistic free-form staircase is streaked with strikingly colored slices.

Red rails. Bright red steps hang without risers in this fabulously unique spiral staircase design that is suspended over a contrasting green courtyard with its own stepped edge. Colored coordinated furniture accumulates a supporting palette nearby.

Cast gold. This seductive stair design drips a luxurious golden melt through a light-filled staircase, where the sun’s rays accentuate its magnificently rich luster.

As an untouched play about a Girl with a Picasso mandolin, this abstract modern staircase combines curves with the cubism of straight enclosed lifts and boxed landing areas.

Layers of luxury. A striking feature wall or tailored bookcase from floor to ceiling makes the ideal high accompaniment to an elegant spiral staircase installation.

Snail shell chic. The indentations under this fabulous wheeled ladder installation create the aesthetics of an untangled helical shell.

Rising like a trickle of exhaled smoke, the wind from this slender staircase is displayed inside a chimney of attractive atmospheric light.

Curved complements. This wooden spiral staircase is not only finished with artfully created curves adjacent to its mezzanine, but the living room furniture mimics its grace with curved silhouettes underneath.

Purity encounters complexity in a fresh white, minimalist spiral staircase concept.

Maximize light in a limited space by an open step, a small spiral staircase. This piece has a break in the slender railing halfway to give access to a partially elevated room.

A twist in the story. This helical staircase is constructed with one solid side and one glass side to create an exaggerated twist.

The stricter twist. Here we step from the loose helical to uber tight torsion. A glossy black finish dramatizes the piece.

Matt black and a winding, taut spiral staircase dominates a wide-open floor plan in an expression of complete professionalism.

A bronze beauty enchants a double high living space with a dark, shiny allure. A glass brick wall allows light to enter behind the building to further illuminate the show.

A colored blocked spiral staircase can be reached by contrasting steps that cut up to the back wind.

The monumental modernist staircase in Itamaraty Palace by Brazilian legend Oscar Niemeyer.

Created in contemporary French limestone, this is the world’s first self-contained 320-degree stone staircase, built by The Stonemasonry Company for a private house in Cheshire.

Life is full of twists and turns, so why not your stairs? Crawlers wander without railings here to fully loosen on those curves.

Another disconnected design works with two different materials to accentuate twin twisted tracks.

Box edges draw attention to the wider ends of wooden windings here, which make the staircase appear as a piece of intricately crafted furniture.

Pebbles. Step off your stairs onto a pebble bed – or at least create an illusion of it by stepping over a textured floor treatment that is confined within a properly rounded border.

A different kind of rounded stone bed is achieved here, with stone tiles cut on their axis to create a text contrast. A rounded stone wall encloses the staircase to exaggerate the effect.

Create a welcome highlight. Underlined backs draw a ribbon of warming light that highlights a curved staircase from base to forehead.

Perfectly polished. A combination of smooth wood and polished stone builds a complex statement.

A Danish architect and developer has built a house for himself and his family in Denmark, which features a spectacular spiral staircase project, made from swaying 630 pieces of CNC-cut plywood.

Curves and core yards. An open core only begs to fill it with a striking focal piece, so why not make it a piece of mother nature’s own architecture with a layered courtyard design.

This remarkable spiral staircase and courtyard combination covers textured greenery around the base to peek through the bottom steps.

The halfway house. When a spiral staircase is so big, you could also make a resting place. Add some well-appointed benches where creative colleagues can relate to and collaborate within the inspirational environment.

A low hanging chandelier adds an elegant light column along the center of a spiral ascent. Glass side railings allow the gloss to pass through completely, safely highlighting the twisting steps underfoot.

Make waves with water feature. The sound of rippling water will carry you all the way up the open staircase to the second floor to create a serene connection through all levels.

Tactile twists. Cut deep at the risers and shallow underneath, this column design is put together with hundreds of layers that you just can’t help but want to touch.

Another chandelier jeweled spiral, with luxurious black marble steps darkly cut and LED ribbons glowing brightly.

With ET sucked into a tractor beam, we know we’re now past a space age. Spacecraft molded sides encapsulate a futuristic staircase that would look at home at Star Trek … Or in a cool white minimalist pad invaded by Smart Home add-ons and cutting-edge furniture.

Called the Interstellar Staircase, optical illusion and awesome symmetry orbit a core that suggests a floating celestial body.

Wooden vertebrae make an enormous serpentine spine, like the fossilized remains of an ancient serpent.

Stacked like thatched straw but as strong as a brick house, this extraordinary construction is unfathomable both in scale and in strength.

Curved fins mold a free-form outer shell around regular strides and lifts here, creating a truly amazing project piece where worldliness could stand.

Sliding out of a central pillar, steps appear as wide helical blades, charged with energy.

At the MI bookstore in the community, in binarbin, China, HMA architects and designers have come up with a colossal staircase project and various space experiences that are all about love of books.

Material contradiction. An impossibly light wire column forms the heart of a solid stone staircase, forming an interesting contradiction in visual weight.

This very detailed spiral is Leonardo da Vinci’s double spiral staircase, built in 1520. You can find it inside the Castle of Chambord in France.

Stacked to the roof beams. This wood framed spiral construction features open side books that give color both inside and outside the huge staircase.

Trotting up and down these stairs is a bit like jumping a jet plane … An elegant white streamlined metal turning from sight, and not entirely safe.

Is it a cool balustrade of a dinosaur thorax? Either way it would look absolutely amazing next to a furious amusement of a speedometer.

Petals of solid wood flower in a naturally beautiful spiral design.

The things from tree house dreams are made. Canopystair is a modular system that attaches around a tree trunk without the use of tools to form an external spiral staircase. The system is lightweight and designed to leave the tree free of damage or marks.

Rail sleepers stack a thick wooden grain end.

Amazingly, this unusual piece begins its day as an ordinary (extremely high) commode. At the push of a button, the drawer rotates to form a spiral staircase – storing and saving space in one.

It’s an unusual combination for a two-tone accent scheme, but the vibrant collision of red and green is the one that pays off with spikes when balanced in the right tones. The three home interiors we focus on here deliver the red and green decorative palette in a variety of combinations. Our first outstanding home design is a rich rush of deep vermilion elements that surround coffins and pea-green accent pieces amidst a sea of fresh white. The power of the white background reigns within the elegant and artistically made burgundy and clever accent scheme of tour number two, and in our ultimate modern interior that lives under bright beats of the contrasting palette.

Red spiral staircases twist through the red and green living room of this 96-square-meter building, located in Lviv, Ukraine. The characteristic staircase assumes a sculptural appearance beneath its solid vermilion finish.

A teal-green sofa creates a richly colored collision against the colorful stair treatment. A glass coffee table on rollers carries a neutral aesthetic with a quaint, modern edge.

A unique floor lamp reflects the colors of the room in its thick extra stem. A leather saddle rests a black anchor point at the wide window.

A light gray floor covering falls into the side panel of the palette, allowing the bolder pieces to shine.

Strong coffee table books fill a light reflective glass side table with the white window dressing.

White-and-white and gray-gray microcement finishes soften a modern hallway decor scheme, where mirrored closets increase the sense of space and light.

Vertical tiles follow a slightly curved wall shape to the front door. Decorative wall hooks dot the bright pottery.

The kitchen meal scheme ignites the flavor buds with an appetite inducing ketchup red and pea green decorative palette. Modern red dining chairs surround a matching round dining table. A single wall of solid green cabinets colors the kitchen.

The green kitchen installation is momentarily interrupted by a window of workspace that is enclosed within a recycled glass roof and rear fountain.

One green cabinet hides device housing to keep the running solid and streamlined.

A wall of glass blocks divides natural light between the living room and a small powder keg.

In the bedroom, a curved crepe green surrounds comfortably cocoons of the bed with an arrangement of neat bedside cornices and an upper shelf.

Small swinging arm wall lights extend an extra accent on either side of the bright red coat.

In the corner of the bedroom, a mosaic of white tiles completes a unique modern desk project. A fresh white office chair completes the clean look.

A round interior window frames a wide vignette of the home workspace on the landing.

An ultra-small sink and wall-mounted soap dispenser address the lack of space in the downstairs bedroom.

The glass block wall causes a fairly light play through the tiny wardrobe.

A distorted view of the living room staircase, through the dark glass, creates a watery red contrast with a wall-hung green toilet.

A tiled tiling colorfully surrounds the upstairs bathroom.

A frameless round vanity mirror almost disappears into the sea of dark tiles around the usual basin.

Moments of white tiling form clean frames around doorways that define the shower and bathtub wet zone and the entrance.

Lower and upper floor plans.

Our second home excursion takes place in an elegant and artistically executed burgundy and clever green accent interior.

Deep burgundy scattering cushions contrast richly with the clever tufted sofa. A solid burgundy painted canvas sets a dramatic background.

A black marble side table increases the luxury. A chic lamp tops the tinted glass table with a pure white shade that blends quietly with the surrounding wall color.

The regional rug sets a luxurious white and pale gray striped base for the salon layout.

The modern area carpet texture softens micro-cement floor treatment.

An arched doorway connects gracefully into the next space. A round coffee table completes the architectural curve.

Glass flower vases add a simple yet decorative touch to the table.

In the bedroom upholstered burgundy bedside table is mounted on a green color blocked decoration to create an elegant contrast. Burgundy cupboards rise on one side of the room, while green sheets balance the opposite end. A bedroom rug transfers the green accent to the floor.

Floor plan.

Our final home tour takes us to Odessa, Ukraine. This small modern apartment lives under bright beats of contrasting color.

While red pillows mix with the upholstered sofa, yellow ocher throws a contrast to the living room palette. Geometric carpet layers in a pattern element that complements areas of textured tiling on partition walls on either side.

A green shelf is inserted across the structural slit to provide an exciting moment of color contradiction from the red sofa.

Geometric tiles place an optical illusion along the corridor of the apartment. Louvre doors add interest to the entrance closet.

A custom desk and cabinet builds a green color lock across the front of the living room space, which also serves as media storage under the TV.

A run of kitchen base cabinets forms a buffet at the dining room, where two red dining chairs brighten up the white and wooden layout.

LED ribbons highlight the bright accent shades.

A greener closet builds a fresh-looking breakfast shelf that takes on a tropical essence under a built-in bed of indoor plants. A red kitchen backsplash beautifully balances the opposite side of the space.

.

On a raised south-facing piece of land of more than 1000 square meters, this magnificent modern property is sculpted into the rock face in Camp de Mar, Mallorca, Spain. Designed by E5 Tenado, the villa itself has a built area of 394 square meters above two levels. Villa Statera has a variety of large open and covered terraces and a rooftop terrace to accommodate fascinating views of the Mediterranean Sea. Facade of continuous floor-to-ceiling windows fuses the bright waterfront panorama with the interior of the home as well, which has an inverse layout with the main living space scattered across the upper floor and bedrooms located below. Full floor plans and a transit video are included at the end.

Pure geometric lines form the modern home project, creating a facade of elegant simplicity. At night the glass facade is enlivened by soft interior lighting. Exterior lights drastically illuminate the rough rock face.

The linear facade is covered with a wide sloping roof, which causes symmetrical shadows to fall on the floor in an illusory decorated effect. The floor-to-ceiling button windows effortlessly touch the interior and exterior living spaces, achieving an expanded spatial feel.

The recent interior design for Villa Statera, created by Terraza Balear, is a pure concept of linearity to complete the architecture of the home. The decoration is done in a natural palette that blends in with the surrounding surroundings of the coastal residence and includes high-quality brands such as B&B Italia, and a Poliform design kitchen.

An L-shaped sofa pulls itself away from the glass walls, forming a comfortable arrangement around a modern fireplace that is only decorative in the warmer months. Scattered cushions put a warm orange pop on two gray-blue lounge chairs and the pale contemporary sofa. Decorative vases bring a branch of greenery to a simple modern sofa table.

A blue accent color runs across the living room carpet, completing the blue horizon beyond the wide windows.

The open layout hall is located on the top floor of the house to fully capitalize on the spectacular views. The dining room is arranged along the window wall so that it can be opened to the terrace.

Slimline dining room pendant lights illuminate the dining table without obscuring the panorama or cutting the connection with the outdoor living space.

A table ornament of candles holds a low profile.

Black kitchen bars contrast sharply with the pure white kitchen island. A wooden breakfast bar creates a warm, textured contrast against the glossy roof.

Dedon’s outdoor furniture gives elegant comfort.

A soft color palette of natural tones connects every living space, inside and out.

Downstairs next to the bedrooms, a small relaxing area with cane hanging chairs is connected to a private terrace with outdoor jacuzzi. The chic lamps in this relaxed living space are Muffins floor lamps by Dan Yeffet for Brokis.

In the main room, an upholstered bed sets up a light gray decorative palette. X-frame bedroom chair and modern bedside tables connect with the modern monochrome scheme.

The master bedroom has its own terrace with all-round impressive views.

The master bedroom series also features a huge walkway with an elegant storage system and a custom cut from floor-to-ceiling toilet mirror.

The lower level of the home has three additional bedrooms, each with access to another terrace space, and each with its own bathroom.

An evening meal takes advantage of Mallorca’s majestic weather.

The large outdoor living area extends to an endless swimming pool, making this an ideal arrangement for hours of relaxation or conversation even in hot temperatures.

A glass paneled walkway connects the two terraces on either side of the living room volume.

An L-shaped outdoor sofa surrounds the boundary of the outdoor lounge space.

A combination of outdoor coffee tables fills the center of the outdoor lounge, standing on a woven outdoor rug.

Outdoor ottomans lay a muted green accent that complements the abundant tree-filled background. Outdoor amenities provide restful days watching the sea, boats and beach life.

A street entrance with parking for three cars is discreetly located under the house, with direct access to the entrance lobby and an elevator to all floors. A roof terrace crowns the top of the building.

Happy outdoor sofas look over dreamy open sea views to the head Andritxol, which shines with lights.

The wonderful location of the home is invincible in the southwest.

Located within five minutes of Puerto Andratx the home is easily accessible from bars, restaurants, shopping, boutiques and the yacht club. Palma is only 20 minutes away, with Palma International Airport reachable within 25 minutes.

Camp de Mar itself has the 18-hole Gulf of Andratx course, its own set of excellent restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as beautiful beaches with water sports.

Upper level floor plan with main living space, plus large terraces with outdoor housing and infinity pool.

A lower level floor plan with a master bedroom series and three additional bedrooms, all with bathrooms and attached terraces.

Roof terrace.

If you aim to create truly individual and characterful living spaces, then ethnic eclectic interiors with vintage vibes evoke a wonderfully unique and welcoming essence. In these two interesting interiors, we will discover a lot of curios and artisan pieces that go together with modern furniture and decorative elements. Our first prominent interior is home to an ethnic eclectic style with colorful vintage finds. Indian artwork meets contemporary living and dining furniture in a rich red, green and mustard color scheme, along with trendy lattice wood elements. Our second interior is actually a concept room and cafe located in Kyiv, Ukraine, which serves as an abundant inspiration to attract an eclectic styling.

Measuring 83 square meters in Kyiv, Ukraine, this home of ethnic eclectic style is characterized by stunning vintage Indian artwork. The vintage art puts soul into a contemporary combination of a dining room with dark green, mustard and ruby accents.

An emerald green wing chair evokes a royal feel within the lounge area. A combined green accent cushion creates a colorful connection between the chair and a tan modern sofa. A vintage-style table fits neatly into space.

In the dining room, a small pedestal dining table is surrounded by two different styles of a dining chair to relax the look. A fabulous pearl chandelier makes a very decorative addition to space. A piece of traditional Indian artwork brings a gloriously bright color.

Wooden lattice doors pull across a dining room storage room, leaving a patch of bare shelf for books and sculptures.

A decorative vase puts a green splash on the dining table.

The dark green notes reappear in the kitchen, where a bright red SMEG refrigerator creates a bold contrast.

A cluster of kitchen hanging lights introduces a pure white ornament into the colorful kitchen design. A curly white marble roof covers the kitchen island, which has an elegant modern basic volume with juxtaposition of traditional supporting legs.

In the hallway, a huge round mirror reflects a tailored upholstered entry seat on the opposite side. An interesting paint effect ignites the green accent behind a modern entry table and a curious art print.

The covered balcony serves as a reading corner. Modern wall applications place a copper accent against a wooden lath wall panel. A lot of pillows add to the relaxed eclectic aesthetic.

In the master, shady clay walls create depth and texture. Metallic scythe pendant lights add a chic look to the ethnic eclectic atmospheres.

Each hanging light hangs low above a bedside table with a matching metal vase.

Gold upholstery matches a nailed chair with a gold framed toilet. An ornate vanity mirror elevates the elegant ensemble.

Clean curtains filter the sunlight at large bedroom windows.

In the studio, an ethnic rug is tied with ethnic printed scattered cushions on the bronze-colored sofa.

A green window chair bridges the width of the room to the desk, where a coordinating green column of storage balances the other side of the workplace.

Hammered copper bathroom sink creates a bright textured moment in a dark green accented decor scheme.

Drawn tiles set a grape vibe around the vanity.

The detailed, floating vanity unit features a modern and vintage aesthetic.

Backlit bathroom shelves form a bright, spa essence.

This 150 square meter interior is “Apartment 13”, a new concept room and cafe in the historic center of Kyiv, Ukraine. Two brown leather chairs arrange a conversational arrangement on a large area rug with vintage.

Crystal chandelier contributes an old-fashioned chic to the room, and beautifully reflects natural light from the tall clerestory windows around the perimeter of the shop.

Tree-trunk slices rustic coffee tables are collected in an effective trio in the center of the seating space.

A yellow accent cushion casts a bright modern accent on one of the elegant lounge chairs.

A decorative vintage tray adorns the largest of the three rustic coffee tables with gold and luxurious marble accents.

An ancient Indian door shows a beautiful patina.

The interior of this shop / cafe is a fusion of vintage finds, bohemian twists, distinctive furniture, and an allusion of the industrial.

The space was stripped down to its structural core to open up the generous ceiling height and expose the raw beauty of the place.

Sandstone walls, concrete floors and a black-painted ceiling create a low base for the more striking eclectic elements, and for the stock of designer clothing, accessories, perfumes and books the interesting shop sells.

A beautiful antique wooden console table sets a message of long-lasting quality in the shop.

A cream lounge chair brings a modern silhouette, under blooming Monstera plant.

An oxygenated metal screen is sectioned from the stairwell.

Mature brass and reclaimed wood add texture to the interior.

Terraced floors surround the cafeteria, while concrete indicates the shop.

An antique rug is used as an atmospheric wall hanger.

The eclectic treatment of decorative elements, interesting art, antique furniture and vintage pieces communicate the owner’s love of travel and multicultural treasures.

A lovingly preserved historical heritage brings Neoclassical Interior complexity to this exquisite apartment that overlooks Bolshoi Prospect, in the very heart of the Petrogradka district of St. Petersburg, Russia. Displayed by Rindes, this elegant apartment features original crown molding and deeply decorative stucco molding through impressive high ceilings. Wainscotting has been manipulated to disguise interior doors, and unique paint effects distort spatial perception under a subtle muted sage green and red pink palette. Curly, contemporary furniture and modern decorative accessories create a clean juxtaposition against the more decorative elements, while striking modern lighting fixtures add a fresh sense of grandeur. A floor plan is included at the end of the home tour.

A Maytoni Nostalgia chandelier catches the eye and draws attention to a wonderful original decorative stucco ceiling. In contrast, things are simple on the floor, with a quiet rug and a curly white sofa.

The regularly spaced modern wall lamps are inspired by a traditional candle lamp. The lights accentuate smart theft, which is covered in a chic crown. A traditional fireplace received an upgrade with a coat of bright sage green paint. The soft accent color inspires life in the delicate chamber palette.

Opposite the sofa, a floating TV carries a fashionable ribbed aesthetic under a luxurious black marble top. A decorative vase slightly adds to the linear piece that connects it with a frame of exquisite woodwork. Glass doors on either side of the TV wall show a bit of a second living room area with a delicate red-pink painted fireplace.

In the second living room, a beige modern sofa adds warmth to the furniture layout next to two fresh white lounge chairs.

Contemporary artwork adds a bold black and white screen over the sofa, between two sleek black wall applications.

A unique shelf leads the black accent color to the extreme end of the mainly white scheme, where a small dining room is installed in the window.

Tailored storage is installed along the back of the TV wall. A small library of books and glasses is displayed on open backlit shelves, announcing the leisure function of this room.

The kitchen is located along the hallway. The large room houses the main dining room here as well.

The same oak chevron floor creates cohesiveness throughout the home, as well as classic decorative features.

The entrance is a peaceful sea of green sage, with walls, doors, furniture and the radiator painted to match perfectly.

Even the dog bed gets a wise green upholstery.

A medium-height, light gray paint effect cuts panel molded walls and customary storage units in half to break the monotony of the long corridor.

A sage green entrance painting is flooded up and over a crown and the ceiling to create clear zoning.

The bedroom is a spectacular example of neoclassical interior design, with a fascinating decorative stucco ceiling, a classic crown mold and a beautiful woodwork capture wall. Contemporary glass closet doors increase the feeling of incredible space, light and grandeur.

Wall lamps are embedded in a unique sheet design behind the simple upholstered bed. Contemporary artwork creates layers over the decorated wall trim.

A subtle tonal paint palette separates the high height of the room. Perimeter LEDs highlight the classic trim.

Frameless interior doors are disguised within the panel molded wall treatment.

In the master bathroom, a double sink bathroom linen follows the same ribbed and black marble aesthetic as the living room’s TV stand.

A white marble back splash climbs to a deep, traditional crown.

Regal woodwork surrounds the “throne”.

A stepped black marble floor lifts the bathtub to elegantly arrange plumbing. A small black side table lies neatly at the edge,

Advancing into the second bedroom of the home, we find ourselves under a comfortable reddish pink ceiling. A large area carpet keeps the floor light.

Without its own exterior windows, this space lends light from the adjoining room through clerestory windows.

Pink paint is extended down from the ceiling to form a deep border around the room that bleeds into a row of built-in storage units.

Bright hanging lights descend over pink bedside tables.

A color coordinated pink cloth makes a unique tailor.

Colorful green, yellow, blue and orange accents, and a nature-inspired mural fill this space with energy and interest.

Custom walls, bookcases and cupboards are built around the door to create one elegant wall of children’s storage.

The family bathroom ornament creates drama under a black, gray and green saturated palette.

Green tiles surround the small room and the bathtub.

The vertical tiles smoothly follow the curve of the bathroom wall, accentuating the unique architectural feature.

The powder room attached to the kitchen follows the same dark aesthetic.

Wooden tone doors momentarily lighten the look.

Bathroom supplies are stored inside.

Adjacent doors hide another large storage space.

Here, we discover that the small powder mill actually functions as a laundry room.

Come with us as we tour through the romantic bohemian apartment of an extravagant music lover, a quaint and colorful rustic industrial cushion, a light flooded industrial attic under a huge skylight and a luxurious emerald green accent luxurious industrial space.

Measuring 180 square meters in Vietnam, this industrial style apartment Interior has a rocky air. Its “romantic bohemian” homeowner enjoys plenty of cool places through a large industrial residence and on a steel built mezzanine.

Exposed masonry builds a curved feature wall and a terrific backdrop against which to display a beloved motorcycle.

Two brown leather chairs sit against a wood-gray gray upholstered sofa in the living room layout to modify rich and interesting tonal layers. A large indoor plant contrasts with the red masonry and guides the eye to the lower side of the mezzanine.

Steel staircase design faces up to the mezzanine of a unique concrete bench base. Every corner of the home built of concrete, brick and rusty steel looks like the atmospheric photographic arrangement of a music album cover that tells us a lot about the artist-loving owner.

The apartment is on the 33rd floor of the building, which presented challenges for the installation of the mezzanine steel system. Both the length and height of the construction exceeded the maximum size for the cargo service and therefore the system was cut and reconnected on site.

–

Panoramic views can be enjoyed from the entire free floor plan and the length of the mezzanine. Industrial style lighting goes down through the double high vacuum to illuminate the dining room.

Raw concrete and red brick create a contrast around the walls of the dining room.

A black marble island adds an extravagant touch to the open concept kitchen.

The mezzanine walkway lowers the ceiling height across the kitchen, where spotlights are embedded in the rich wood finish.

In addition to the main bedroom area on the mezzanine, there are also two additional bedrooms in the home, for overnight friends and for future children. In this guest room, raw industrial materials are warmly highlighted with a bedside lamp.

The main bathroom is located on the ground floor of the apartment, where a black bathtub causes a dramatic impact.

The workspace is located just outside the main series.

There is a small home bar at the opposite end of the mezzanine.

The spiral staircase leads to the roof.

Glass pendant lights and glass panes glow in the light of double-story windows.

In the main room, a unique platform bed is angled to the view.

Ground floor plan.

Multifunctional mezzanine floor plan.

Our second industrial interior has weird, colorful accents, like this unique green swing chair in the living room.

Green scatter pads and a matching throw contrast with the red upholstery rug. A black industrial wall light illuminates artwork and a raw concrete background. Exposed masonry behind the bookshelf.

A rusty wooden feature wall builds a character behind the TV and a modern TV stand.

A small side table sets another rustic note against the raw masonry. Bright yellow paint and a false caution warning make a new bathroom door.

An eclectic choice of dining chairs brings a contrasting color to the table.

Fire brigade red paint covers and a striking front entrance door.

A huge skylight shows a jaw as we enter our third prominent home interior. Deep red masonry draws attention to the depth and incredible height of the open concept space.

A mezzanine bedroom uses the massive ceiling height in the industrial attic, and raises the homeowner to the view.

A master black kitchen island overlooks the domain.

Finally we arrive at a luxurious industrial interior with luxurious emerald green accents.

A steel ceiling grille creates an attractive lattice across the living room. Hanging lights fall through the gaps along different lengths, and a modern floor lamp completes their elegant cylindrical appearance.

A frame of perimeter light brightly illuminates a exposed brick TV wall.

The huge upholstered sectional sofa embraces the lounge area strongly on three sides.

A unique hexagonal coffee table and an elegant white marble table fill the center of the chic lounge layout.

An industrial staircase ascends to the first floor, climbing an emerald green declaration wall.

Two leather armchairs and a small side table are grouped on an area rug to form a carefully seated area next to the fireplace behind the living room.

Black-painted masonry extends the effect of the dark fireplace. See fireplace screen inspiration here.

Industrial Accent Walls & Open Concept Bedrooms

.

While these two distinctive home interiors differ in scale and color palette, they find a common ground in elegant modern décor, industrial accent walls, and open concept bedroom projects. The first of our two featured home projects is a soothing pale gray interior with raw exposed masonry and a lath wall bedroom project straight from the living room. In a stark contrast, our second prominent home interior is enlivened with crevices and light yellow accent pieces that warm and elevate cool concrete industrial walls. A glass wall bedroom project opens on both sides to fully merge with the neighboring lounge and kitchen dining rooms.

Located in Kiev, Ukraine, this 83-square-meter apartment has a combined free living room, kitchen-dining room. The soft gray modern sofa merges quietly with color matching living room walls.

A slatted wall clearly divides the bedroom from the main living space without completely obstructing its view. The open concept increases the sense of space and light in the home, and achieves easy flow. A rough brick feature wall builds an old, industrial effect across one side of the room, drawing attention to the TV.

The dark and sculptural lamp duo at the end of the sofa is Muffins floor lamps by Dan Yeffet for Brokis.

A light gray round carpet almost disappears against the smooth gray microcement floor.

An arrangement of two side tables and a rustic coffee table laid full black accents across the gray sea.

A wide kitchen island runs through the free plan living room, with a dining table extension utilizing natural light at the window.

The dining table extension can be retracted over the sink on the kitchen island when not in use. This move brings a preparatory surface closer to the hob and frees up floor space when the kitchen dining area is not in use. Push down a faucet down under the lid.

A long floor lamp extends across the multifunctional insulin surface.

A smaller version of the floor lamp draws the same linear aesthetic across the living room area.

Open kitchen shelves show organized rows of cutlery, wine glasses and serving bowls.

In the master bedroom, a floor bed design incorporates a padded bed unit. On the other hand, a small side table is attached to the Sampei floor lamp designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese.

The industrial atmosphere prevails within the bathroom. The raw, white-washed brick wall treatment we originally encountered in the living room now creates a characteristic wall behind the tub. Microcement floods the floor here as well, creating a smooth contrast with the old masonry.

An illuminated bathroom mirror emits a fresh white glow on the vertical tile behind the vanity. A black cement stain accentuates the precise tiling.

A thin floor lamp leans elegantly towards the bathtub, providing a focused green light for long dips.

Black fixtures complete the unique black marble bathtub.

The modern bathrooms and Sampei floor lamp create an elegant contrast with the rough masonry.

In the children’s room an upholstered cot provides a soft landing for pillow fights.

Modern wooden effective wall roofs build a comfortable envelope with hidden storage spaces.

A Baymax plush toy leans toward a built-in bookshelf, to which black shelves and a backrest contrast.

A children’s study area occupies the industrial style wall. A floating desk cuts clean across the masonry.

This 57-square-meter home in Moscow, Russia, is decorated with crude concrete walls and colorful accents.

A round coffee table smoothly fills the center of the small space, with no sharp corners to knock.

A short, central wall was installed to house the TV and floating TV stand. The small stature of the TV wall only partially hides the design of the glass wall bedroom, enabling abundant light.

The luxurious gray carpet echoes the tone and shade of the living room’s concrete feature wall.

Following the L-shaped living room layout around the corner of the glass wall project, we come to the kitchen dining room.

Directional kitchen lights go down on a walnut dining table that achieves a floating effect on a transparent support leg.

Deep creek paint darkens the home entrance, while a small puff gives a cheerful pop-yellow.

Floor-to-ceiling frameless mirrors climb behind the pouf and next to the front door, increasing the floor space in the small lobby.

A teal capture wall maintains the consistent color palette within the bedroom. A gray upholstered platform bed carries the soothing gray element.

An elongated drawing head fills the width of the room, and provides a mount for a floating bedroom vanity table.

The teal accent continues above the ceiling, forming a dark, comfortable cocoon. The glass walls of the bedroom open on both sides to create one square open living space.

A bright yellow vanity stool approaches the wall-mounted makeup table. Industrial style pendant lights fall in front of the round mirror.

A closet stands right next to the home entrance, with space to store some cleaning equipment.

Yellow accents bring a gentle warmth to the bathroom with a declarative vanity and wonderfully designed wall tiles.

Wooden wall tiles lined the damp wall.

A double workspace was installed on one side of the living room, along with office warehouses and a custom-built bookshelf. See more ideas on double seats.

Floor plan.

Decorating with dark colors, you may find yourself in a mundane monochromatic and worthless routine. In this collection of boldly dark interior projects, we look at how to introduce deep and fascinating textures within sculptural art walls, crude rock features, walls with striped panel elements, expanses of tiling and industrial style nuanced concrete. We will notice how atmospheric light patterns accentuate the 3D elements, and how bright accent shades elevate single pieces of black and gray canvases to create a clear definition. Dark decor schemes like these are not appropriate, but being bold causes great rewards of unique living spaces, elegant dining rooms, comfortable bedrooms and a totally delightful factor.

Colorful accent furniture builds excitement within a bold, dark decorative scheme. This uber modern yellow sofa hits a bright accent through the center of our first living space. 3D wall art artistically sculpts the black feature wall behind the living room and dining rooms with abstract shapes that rise and fall into the shadows.

Not everything needs to stand out. This low round coffee table seems to stand out from the matching simple black surrounding rug. It is a shallow profile completes the elegant frame of the modern sofa.

The aligned flames of a modern fireplace dance even brighter in dark surroundings. A pair of padded puffs effectively extends the playful accent color of the curved sofa.

Smooth, thoughtless storage units create a useful and attractive setting around a TV.

Perimeter LEDs pour a smooth stream of light onto the camouflaged cabinet fronts, which solidify into a chic gray accent wall.

Two dining room pendant lights are paired to encompass the entire length of the dining table, bringing it bright from the black background.

The light table top is contrasted with black modern dining chairs along both sides.

The head and foot of the wide dining table remain largely unoccupied.

The chic gray furniture-making aesthetic returns in the home entrance, where tailored wardrobes store huge outerwear and large cleaning appliances.

A suitable gray entrance table floats across a frameless, custom-cut mirror that bounces natural light into the shady niche.

The yellow accent is also exciting in this darkly decorated space, like a useful puff sitting at the front entrance door.

Our second dark interior example is an elegant space created for a young couple with a penchant for modern design. A rich, tonal combination of neutral shades and contrasting materials has a unique effect. A stunning black rock face climbs behind the dining room, undulating deep texture and drama, while furniture behind the living room is flat and flawless.

A glass vase puts a warm amber accent on the black glass coffee table. A luxurious gray carpet firmly defines the lounge area of the nearby adjoining dining room.

A white feature wall undulates inside a midnight black frame. A cobalt blue ceramic vase adds an unexpected bolt of bright color.

Slatted panels add a fashionable texture to the black bedroom project. A modern chandelier and floor lamp combine to create the shape of a majestic, lighted tree.

Black hanging lights illuminate small bedside tables that are enclosed within a wide winged bedside table.

A bathroom stand stands open on either side of a narrow partition, giving direct access to two unique pedestal sinks.

An impressive rock face feature wall dominates the room from behind the bathtub.

A golden wood tone contrasts warmly against the cool black rock.

On our third home tour, a textured black tile effect wall stands behind the TV. A pair of modern wall applications drill into the darkness.

Charcoal upholstery shades the sectional sofa, while beige carpet plays a brighter note.

Terazola flooring brings a light pattern to the entire open living space as one seamless extension.

A red accent chair surrounds the living room layout with an unexpectedly warm moment.

Red indoor plants embrace the accent theme.

A large rectangular dining table and ten chairs share the living room from one wall kitchen with an island.

Another pair of modern wall lamps illuminate a white tile wall in the kitchen that counterbalances the black TV wall opposite.

An induction hob and integrated extractor unit create an elegant finish throughout the kitchen island.

Huge edge-to-edge windows fill the large living space with daylight.

A dark tinted microcement darkly adorns a small comfortable / film room. Unique modern wall lamps adore white accents against the textured sofa wall.

A stone coffee table matches the shade of a gray area.

Sliding cap doors protect the comforter without closing it, which ensures that the dark color scheme does not feel pressure.

A projection screen draws the focus wall, descending to meet with a linear black media unit that fuses with its dark microcement.

In the master bedroom, a sage green padded bed makes a nice contrast with a dark capture feature wall. Contemporary wall lamps create a bright balance over each bedside.

A domestic plant introduces a delicate freshness into the industrial gray concrete decoration scheme.

Slate closet doors interrupt the smooth cement.

The second shady bedroom plan is defined by a unique mural.

Abstract shapes paint a monochrome landscape across the room. A tailored bed sheet with integrated bedside sets sets up a completely black base.

A bright white dresser reflects light from a huge bedroom window.

Our final dark, textured home design has an interior area of 1779 square feet, and resides next to the Xinbei Guandu bridge. The river plot offers magnificent views of the mountains. A volcanic rock feature wall completes the natural location of the home.

Natural, eco-friendly, artistic mineral paints were used, along with a cement ceiling, old and rust-stained steel beams, and a wooden herringbone.

White curtains keep the window wall bright. A white L-shaped sofa pulls the light element into the center of the room.

A round black coffee table coordinates with the fabulous black rock feature wall.

A floating black unit strikes a smooth shiny black accent against the rough rock.

Gray scattering cushions and a matching wool throw subtly destroy the white sectional sofa.

Inserted spotlights pierce the linear concrete ceiling treatment.

Strip lights stretch bright linear highlights across the room.

A modern home office area is located behind the room, with the desk occupying the space directly behind the sofa. A wall of built-in bookshelves forms a black background.

A tan lounge chair complements the rust-colored metal ceiling beams.

When the desk is not used for work, a sort of coffee table books and glass vases transform the desk into an attractive sofa table. Decorative objects are also displayed in the tailored bookcases, where they are warmly backlit to create a cozy evening atmosphere.

Mesh dining room pendant lights create a bright sculptural arrangement over a rounded rectangular dining table. A luxurious white marble table top reflects the atmospheric luster.

The modern dining room runs off one side of the small kitchen island. The main body of the kitchen is neatly hidden from view behind secret sliding doors. Buddhist artwork absorbs a zen-like feeling of calm.

Each technology is hidden from view to evoke a complete sense of peace, and a deep connection with the rhythm of nature that awaits just outside the window.

Advancing into the master bedroom, we arrive behind a centrally placed bedside table. The modern winged bedside design defines a clear walkway into the bedroom, and a wardrobe in front of the closets.

The single bed sheet wraps a solid, orange cocoon around the headboard.

A vanity table stands across the foot of the bed, decorated simply with a bent vain mirror and a modern vase of foliage.

In the second bedroom, muted orange paints form a divided wall treatment around the perimeter.

A desk/dressing room crosses the top of the low mounted bedside table. A wooden effect shield joins all the bedroom furniture together as one fluid piece. A white and wooden modern wall lamp illuminates one edge of the bed, while a slender wooden pendant light descends over the other. See more inspiration for bedroom hanging lights here.

Created by Spine Architects, the unique angular shape stands out sharply against a gray, densely populated metropolis. Pure white concrete and rich wooden cladding contain a dwelling based on the ancient architectural science of Vaastu, which embraces the advantages of nature. The interior spaces are simple, spacious and projected around two landscaped courtyards, each with skylights that flood sunlight into the openly interconnected floors of the house. The natural greenery brings a valuable exterior within the introverted urban housing, with trees that draw the eye up through the impressive void.

An illusion of floating piles is realized through cracks and openings around the modern home exterior, which gives the building its name “Floating Walls”.

The visually appealing structure is defined from the densely populated site by sloping white concrete walls that protrude from the front and side. Rich wood cladding looks warm and attractive under the glare of exterior lights.

The toned wood and clear glass elements juxtapose the solid white walls.

Unconventional slices swayed throughout the building to accommodate natural light and exterior views, while maintaining ultimate privacy.

Sun-seeking plants spring from behind the hidden walls of the home, hinting at the nature-centered design that awaits interior.

An impressive front entrance gate makes a smart and lasting first impression.

A layered verandah climbs to the inner front door, surrounded by lush green lawns and full plant beds.

The front entrance is a completely clear and seamless glass box, where the only frame is around the door itself.

Upon entering the apartment, we escape from city life behind a screen of tall tropical plants that filter out sunlight and spy eyes. The “casual” living room behind the ground floor is an elegant arrangement of project furniture with raised yellow and blue accents. A unique glass coffee table is raised by a striking rug. A chic store completes an Eames-style armchair.

Wooden clad feature walls echo the exterior aesthetics of the house. Tanned chairs continue the rich earthy tone to the dining room.

A Buddha statue designates a cult area within the first landscape courtyard project on the ground floor. A temple tree appears from behind the Puja, drawing the eye up through the multi-storey void to a skylight above.

The indoor plant eats sunlight from a large skylight. A glass wall welcomes the sunlight into the neighboring bedroom.

The skylight is positioned directly above the tree-lined courtyard on the ground floor.

On the other side of the living room from the first floor, a modern home office is arranged with a minimalist floating desk.

The glass wall room is decorated with a vibrant contrast of purple red and royal blue accent pieces. Fabric panels are installed to give privacy when needed.

Built-in shelf niches are lined with red cracks.

Each bedroom in the home gets its own unique identity.

Creating a bedroom chair and rug defines a small lounge area within this beautiful bedroom.

Intertwined interior and exterior spaces filter natural light and ventilation.

Upstairs on the second floor is a guest bedroom and a half-open terrace with a kitchen.

A traditional load carrying and counterweight system was used to drastically cantilever a series of 2 ″ thick Sadahalli slabs at a screen wall at the front entrance.

Ground floor plan, including formal and informal lounges, the kitchen, dining room and lounge, and the first of five bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom series stands complete with a bathroom and closet for the homeowner’s parents.

A mezzanine floor plan, including a bedroom suite with a wardrobe and a bathroom.

First floor plan, including the master bedroom, guest bedroom, another children’s bedroom, family lounge area, and study room with balcony.

Second floor plan, including a second guest bedroom with private bathroom, and a large terrace with kitchen.

Round-edge furniture and curved interior architecture create a comforting, touching design aesthetic. Round furniture makes it possible to form arrangements with a smooth and easy flow, no matter what the size of the room. In compact spaces, rounded edges are the perfect solution to avoid awkward corners and tucked shins. In a large living space, curved furniture can make a distinctive and striking focus. These sleek individuals work beautifully when paired with elegant architectural arches, round feature windows and serpentine partitions for a cohesive theme. Alternatively, sharp geometric contours can make a clearly contrasting option. Take a look at these two round-home interiors for curved inspiration.

A curved sofa immediately shows the shaped theme in the center of a smooth white and gray interior scheme.

The deep curved bases of the coffee tables set a heavy, palpable aesthetic. A free rug design creates additional contrast underfoot.

A coffee table book and decorative glass bowls adorn the two tables, while a set of decorative vases fills an attractive round borehole in the microcement partition.

The interior window is shaped to complement a number of round feature windows and rounded rectangular windows within the main architecture.

The TV was mounted to one side of the round aperture in the partition wall, which gives each of them equal prominence in the living room layout. A view of the neighboring dining room is visible through the gap, which gives the living space an open, free-flowing feel.

An elevated wooden platform creates a two-level layout in the living room. The space under the platform is open to give the feature a light, floating effect. Three hovering access steps reinforce the illusion.

The platform is used to raise a small seat to a wonderful natural panorama of tree-lined hillsides.

Indoor plants bring natural greenery to the living room, to further blur the lines between inside and outside.

Cylindrical silhouettes form a small side table and a matching coffee table in the raised seat. Project chairs create attractive, comforting curves, and echo the round architectural embrace.

The thick partition wall between the living room area and the adjoining dining room follows a relaxed curved path to avoid disturbing the silky smooth surroundings.

The glossy metal frame of the modern chandelier makes a light-reflecting contrast with a room with mainly matte finishes.

The interior window facilitates a natural light part between the two separate living spaces.

The round dining table coordinates with the curve of the modern sofa through the connecting window.

The limited tonal palette of the interior emphasizes the shaped thread.

A ribbed glass vase forms a textural connection between the base of the pedestal dining table and its main ornament. A modern fruit bowl performs the simple arrangement.

The kitchen creates a contradiction to the rounded theme, with a sharp, geometric island design.

Corner sides define the unique kitchen island, which gives the kitchen its own distinctive atmosphere.

Inserted track lights glow brightly through the subtle cement ceiling, adding to the sharp change of theme, and exaggerating the linearity of the island below.

Sliding doors simplify the kitchen tower units behind the island. Black integrated ovens lie dark in the wood effect.

Wide shelves contain cutlery and decorative accessories. Glass glasses contain the fashionable ribbed textured accent of the dining room.

A huge custom sink projects itself into the island counter.

An interlaced inductive hob completes the workshop.

Coastal atmospheres wash through our second prominent home interior. Shells, waves and footprints in the sand emerge from its round, pebble-gray furniture and free-form corners. A hexagonal coffee table creates a cut of exact contrast.

The textured carpet creates a barefoot feel, while a wall of unique niche shelf niches nourishes the eye.

Curious design objects fill the hollow surface of the unique coffee table. The sunken column chapter is a small-scale model of the Capitello chair of Franco Audrito and Piero Gatti. The highlight is The Knot by Stockholm sculptor Tove Tengå.

The palpable, irregularly shaped floor lamp next to the sofa appears to be a modified version of Eny Lee Parker Oo floor lamp.

Glass arches climb to the high ceiling height, accepting glorious sunlight.

Geometric floor tiles compensate for the rounded decorative elements.

Wall tiles were cut into a curve to finish the kitchen back spout, which completes a round base unit.

The creative back splash transforms the one wall kitchen composition into a piece of functional art.

Refrigerator SMEG green SMEG brings back-inspired curves.

A green chimney extractor draws the accent color. A copper kitchen faucet makes a brilliant addition.

An open kitchen shelf follows the top of the tiled back splash, ending in a matching rounded corner. Glass jars create an attractive open storage area for dryers. Small plants add green bloom.

A range of wooden cutting boards connects with the rustic look of the rich wooden and ceramic kitchen layout. See options for cutting board and knife here.

Sleek Geometric Villa In Mallorca WIth A Glass Facade

Do you like Architecture and Interior Design? Follow us …

.

On a 1,000 square meter southern plot of land, Villa Anguli overlooks Camp de Mar, Mallorca, from a privileged high position. Created by E5 Living, the modern Mediterranean residence of 399 square meters has spectacular sea views that have influenced its geometric architecture and elegant glass facade. Superior interior luxury is realized in chic modern furniture and a clean minimalist approach. White walls, lots of light and high ceilings make it a perfect gallery space for an avid collection of contemporary works by Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Banksy. The artwork injects vibrant bursts of color over three floors of seamless spaces, each drawing to the panorama.

The geometric architecture of Villa Anguli projects along a sharp oblique angle of its built-in base on the hillside. This irregular shape allows the villa to absorb glorious sea views across the entire width of its elegant glass facade.

An original, wide-width roof project enhances the geometric nature of the architecture and shades the interior from the strong sunlight.

Isolated high on the hillside, built into the rock, the villa is surrounded by amazing views to sea and sky.

With views of the cool, sparkling waterfront, there just had to be a pool here.

The wide pool project extends along the width of the villa, disappearing suddenly under the sloping wing.

A high perimeter wall privately separates the villa from the road.

At night, the exterior lighting scheme ignites excitement around the terraces and terrestrial grounds of the villa.

Glass railings invisibly surround an elevated walkway into the villa from the pool deck, leaving the vast windows of the facade unobstructed.

Soaking yourself in the pool while looking over the gulf feels like diving into the light blue sea itself. Cap Andritxol headland rolls away.

An outdoor lounge is arranged on the pool terrace, to take advantage of the excellent Mediterranean weather. In the luxury villa is developed an interior living room with a double living room and a formal dining room. Four large dining room hanging lights descend from the impressive ceiling height in the center of the space, where bluer skies cut through the white concrete structure.

The longer side of the sofa look inward to the fireplace. A comfortable puff provides a small footrest to toe toes in the winter months. A large regional rug extends a comfortable cream base under the modern living room layout. A range of gray accent cushions contrasts with the cream sofa upholstery.

The wide latticed roof treatment creates light play through the floors and terraces, which resemble a deck or pier that leads out to the sea.

The interior plan pales within the spectacular architectural manipulation of space and light. Sunlight flows through clerestory windows that frame artistic views of the roof line and skyscraper. Retractable walls fuse the in-outdoor living experience to embrace the island’s beautiful climate.

There is a peaceful harmony between the views and internal distribution.

High quality materials form the modern construction.

Artwork by some of the world’s leading artists gives an attractive color and character.

Wide open interior spaces, long white walls, high ceilings and abundant light make this home an amazing gallery.

After dark, a stunning modern lighting scheme of subtle inserted spotlights, perimeter light strips, stair lights and flush-fitted wall lights set the whole place. The distribution of light pays equal attention to art and architecture.

The entire upper level is dedicated to a luxurious master bedroom series. Up here, a courtyard grows a tropical jungle theme in the center of the floor plan. On the one hand, the green interval makes a delightful wall …

..On the opposite side, the enclosed mini-jungle breaks the corridor to the master bathroom. Arranged cupboards line the opposite side of the passage.

An exit terrace has views of the coast.

A narrow internal corridor leads to each of the three-story bedrooms, but they are also pleasantly joined outside by the sun terrace.

The artwork that creates a striking draw at the top of this staircase is Kindness, 2011 by Damien Hirst.

Sandy beaches, water sports, great restaurants, cafes, shops, and the 18-hole “Gulf of Andratx” await at Camp de Mar.

Puerto Andratx lies just 5 minutes away for more bars, restaurants, shopping, shops and the yacht club.

Palma International Airport is just a 25-minute drive away.

On the ground floor plan, we can see the equal scale of three double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Sliding glass doors unite the bedrooms with the outdoor space and pool. We can also observe the angular nature of the open living area that cuts the cantilevered sun terrace. The ground floor of the villa was evenly divided between indoor and outdoor living spaces, with retractable walls blurring the boundary.

The upper floor plan illustrates the main series in detail. The actual bedroom is located just in front of the villa to plant the bed at sight. The bedroom also connects with its own sun terrace, which is set up along the oblique corner of the living room below.

There is also a spacious, private roof terrace. A parking garage for three cars is located behind the villa and leads directly to lift access to all floors.

Subtle Grey Interior covers this modern apartment interior with a sense of calm and refinement, while classic details add history and character. Displayed by Alexander Belkov, the home is designed to embrace the modern coveted open plan living space layout with a large kitchen dining island and a dedicated space for the mandatory home workspace. The master bedroom is a serene gray and white separation scheme, where a houndstooth upholstered bed adds a fashionable yet playful interaction with the simpler parts. Traditional intricate crown molding and ultra-contemporary stripes create a beautiful contradiction. A stunning bathroom gets the last hint of neoclassical charm from cleverly paneled molded walls, defined under soft mood light and sharp black finishes.

A deeply cushioned and welcoming modular sofa extends through the center of the airy open concept living space.

A light and textured area rug connect the sofa with the TV wall of the living room.

Immediately behind the sofa, brandy colored Faint a lounge chair designed by Space Copenhagen for Fredericia and a matching armchair form an elegant reading area at the windows.

The TV wall project is made up of elegant modern panels with a fresh white oak lacquer layer. A modern TV shelf cracks right into a corner below.

A modern floor lamp serves the reading area when natural light from the windows is not enough.

Recessed mood light creates a comfortable glow around the paneled TV wall.

Black Venetian blinds accentuate the series of large windows within the simple white-painted wall.

A small wrap-around side table attracts the black accent to the soft white sectional sofa layout.

A traditional, intricate crown fusion frames a ceiling of modern, niche stripe lights. One-way headlights provide a more focused light.

Behind the open plan of a living room, the kitchen is tucked into one corner. The position sets up clear zoning, and keeps the daily kitchen mess and clutter out of the simple sight of the relaxed spaces.

An induction hob lies at the other end of the white quartz kitchen island; an integrated extractor provides a simplified finish.

White floor tiles glow brightly under a long strip light. Under-closet lights focus on the kitchen sink and preparation area behind. A tower unit on both sides balances the kitchen, where they contain an integral oven and the refrigerator.

The white home entrance is heated by a wall of wooden lacquer cabinets. Recessed perimeter lighting highlights the attractive wood grain.

A huge round mirror adorns the opposite wall of the square home entrance. The backlight design plays a uplifting role in the gray painted wall. Two modern rustic stools furnish the limited floor area.

Moving into the master bedroom, a houndstooth bed holds a playfully structured headboard.

The serene bedroom has a gray and white dividing pattern, where a raised gray panel along the hood wall hides an LED ribbon. The LEDs emit a golden aura around a contemporary bedside table that matches the silhouette of the side table in the living room.

At the other end of the upholstered bed, a different style of side table changes the aesthetic. Modern bedside lamps fall in a hot red light.

The large textured area rug creates a soft walkway around the bed, and connects it with a unique toilet next to the window.

A raised wooden plinth is hidden in the glare of the warm white LEDs, and provides extra drop-down space for phones and books.

A fluffy puff makes a comfortable landing at the wooden vanity table.

The bedroom TV wall follows the same gray and white split decorative style, with the white base section adding an attractive stone texture.

A bold, linear TV adds a beautifully smooth wooden accent against the rough stone.

The cracked wall therapy continues directly across the face from the bedroom door, mixing it quietly into its surroundings. Traditional crown molding makes another delicate look around contemporary strips.

Gray and white decorative candles bring the gray and white tonal contrast into the details.

A full height mirror reflects the entrance into the bedroom’s dressing room.

A black-painted ceiling differentiates the walk-in closet from the rest of the bedroom project.

The black ceiling is balanced by a wide black shoe sole on the bottom.

A custom wardrobe provides a set of hanging rails, clothes racks and raised boxes.

Atmospheric lighting leads us through the bathroom, where it flows from a high and narrow shelf niche that takes away a collection of favorite toilets at the pool.

The modern bathroom linen has a ribbed base unit that provides a palpable contrast to the smooth stone roof and integral basin.

The ceiling is surrounded by an LED strip over the vain unit, to provide a focused task light over a fieldless vanity mirror.

Wall-mounted cannon-metal gray faucet adds an edgy modernity to the sink.

Dark bathrooms sharply define the key areas of the bathroom. A modern red plate pierces the toilet area, while a wide valve plate is centralized within the shower.

A second niche of tower shelf provides the design of the shower space.

Panel molding gives the bathroom an elegant, neoclassical style.

Prices and Types of Flooring Tiles in Pakistan

Guide for flooring tiles and their rates

Bathrooms and kitchens were previously the most typical places in Pakistan to find Flooring Tiles. In contrast to mosaic or marble flooring, which would have been historically popular in residences, now it is widespread and completely fashionable for newly built houses to employ tiles as the most frequent flooring type. As a result, if you’re renovating your home’s flooring or building a new one, you’ll need to know what type of tile to use and how much it’ll cost. Keep on reading as we go so over different construction tiles available in Pakistan, as well as their prices based on sub-varieties, brands, and some other criteria.

Types of Flooring Tiles

Let us discuss the most common varieties of floor tiles in Pakistan

Ceramic Tiles

Ceramic tiles are one of the most popular clay-based tiles on the market. They are mined, prepared, and molded before use. Their ability to blend in with almost any type of interior décor will astound you. Ceramic tiles’ most important features include their long lifespan, variety of applications, and strong resistance to scratches and abrasion.

They can sustain years of constant foot activity thanks to their durability. They provide a diverse range of design options. Ceramic tiles feature matchless colors and patterns and thus are usually covered in a durable finish. Ceramic tiles, but will not be used outside because they cannot withstand the heat and therefore do not adapt well to the freezing temperatures that winter brings. They have a proclivity for moisture absorption.

Porcelain Tiles

Someone frequently classified porcelain tiles as ceramic tiles because of the subtle differences between them and ceramic tiles. Porcelain tiles are made of denser clay but are fired at greater temperatures than non-porcelain ceramic tiles. As a function, the material is much more durable and resistant to harm. Porcelain tiles, unlike standard ceramic tiles, can be utilized outside because of their low porosity and improved resilience to cold and extreme temperatures.

Porcelain tiles are available in polished and unpolished finishes and thus are suited for a range of domestic and commercial applications with light foot traffic. They also are available in glazed versions, but this is less durable.

Granite Tiles

Granite tiles are the best choice whether you’re planning to put tiles in a high-traffic location. They’re made of granite, a dense and durable igneous rock. This rock’s speckled minerals and unique veining not just set it apart from other materials, but the mix of the two also ensures that neither two granite surfaces are alike. Granite tiles have such a fantastic reputation in the flooring industry because of this. Luxurious establishments get a strong demand for them since they are produced in a large variety of colors and have a great aesthetic value.

The natural and durable material utilized aids the scratch-resistant surface. Granite tiles are light and tiny in size, making them easy to work with. They are also acid-resistant. Granite tiles, like marble floors, are highly porous and stain-prone. However, once polished, they perform admirably in terms of scratch resistance.

Travertine Tiles

Travertine pieces are made of travertine, a form of limestone found in hot springs, natural spring springs, and caves all around the world. The material comes in a variety of hues and has pits or a rough texture that is caused by air bubbles and organic materials. Travertine tiles have such a beautiful surface that illuminates and provides your interior area with a natural look.

The durability of the travertine material can be judged by the fact that it was used to build the ancient Roman structures which can be seen in Italy today. As a result, the travertine is an excellent choice for temples, sculptures, and theatres. It is now commonly used in the construction of pathways, restrooms, pool decks, as well as other areas in which there is a lot of water exposure. Travertine is 100 percent biodegradable, giving it an ecologically friendly material. It’s both long-lasting and easy to manage.

Even though it’s a less expensive alternative than some other high-end materials, travertine tiles still are pricey, and so many people cannot afford to install them.

Slate Tiles

Slate, which is mined from natural mineral deposits, is one of the most popular floor coverings. It aids throughout the production of extremely durable tiles while still inducing natural beauty to give your floor a stunning appearance. The material can maintain a room warm even while providing a safe flooring option because of its high slip resistance. Regardless of the fact that slate tiles are less expensive than marble and granite tiles, they still are regarded as high-end and attain a greater price than ceramic tiles.

Sandstone Tiles

Sandstone tiles are designed to give your outdoor spaces a deep, natural feel. Pool surrounds, patios, and walks are among the most typical applications. Sandstone tiles come in many colors, patterns, and sizes, and they add a great earthy touch to every space.

Matte Vs Glossy

As stated earlier, a print, design, or pattern is applied on ceramic and porcelain tiles after they’ve been cooked throughout the kiln. The magnitude of these effects can vary, as well as the resulting pattern can be glossy or matte.

Matte tiles are commonly used in kitchens and bathrooms where there are a lot of water spills because shiny tiles could be highly slippery in high-traffic areas. Shiny tiles give the floor a sheen and add elegance to a room’s appearance, rendering them more popular in lounge spaces and drawing rooms. Granite tiles will not have prints imposed on them since they are made of natural rock, and they are usually available in matte varieties with a coating applied to give them even more enduring.

Half-body Vs Full-body

The amount of wear and tear that full-body and half-body tiles can withstand is the key difference. Concrete pavers are always half-body, which implies that after they are manufactured, a thin layer of paint is applied to a tile. Porcelain tiles, on the other side, come in half-and full-body variants. Because the printed layer on half-body tiles is just a few centimeters thick, when the tile is broken, the top layer would be exposed, exposing white or red clay beneath.

Full-body tiles, on the other hand, are designed to have their color, pattern, or design walk the length of the tile. When these tiles are chipped or filed away, they expose a second layer with the same design as the first, rather than a patch of clay underneath, that can be unsightly. Granite tiles, unlike the other two, are always full-body because they are cut from genuine rock.

Round-edged Vs Laser-cut

Tiles have always been put with a certain number of spaces between them, which are filled with grout. Depending on the manufacturing methods used and the material used, they could be round-edged or laser-cut. Granite tiles, for example, always are laser-cut away from the rock, resulting in sharp edges. Ceramic tiles, on the other hand, normally have rounded edges, but porcelain comes in a combination of both options.

What Type Of Tile Should I Use And Why?

You now know about the three most common varieties of flooring tiles in Pakistan; choosing between these may well be influenced by a variety of factors, such as.

  • Size
  • Strength
  • Durability
  • Target area
  • Availability of patterns
  • Ease of installation
  • Cost

Here is another quick rundown of the factors to consider about this before deciding on the tile that’s right for you.

Size

Tiles come in a variety of sizes, with 1224 inches, 1236 inches, 1824 inches, 2424 inches, and etc being one of the most frequent for central living areas. Larger square tiles are recommended for lounges, drawing areas, and dining rooms, in short. The most common sizes for corner walk-in showers are 912 inches and 1218 inches. Some individuals, though, prefer to use larger tiles in restrooms because they make a small space appear larger.

Tiles come in a variety of sizes, with 12*24 inches, 12*36 inches, 18*24 inches, 24*24 inches, and etc being the most frequent for central living areas. Larger square tiles are recommended for couches, drawing areas, and dining rooms, in short. The most common sizes for corner walk-in showers are 9*12 inches and 12*18 inches. Some individuals, though, prefer to be using larger tiles in restrooms because they make a tiny space appear larger.

Strength

Granite is by far the most durable alternative available, however ceramic is the most vulnerable to breaking and damage. Porcelain tiles will be in the middle of the strength spectrum, but they outperform ceramic equivalents.

Durability

The durability of a tile also is determined by its strength. This implies that of the three alternatives, granite is by far the most durable. Granite also is easy to polish and restore to its former brilliance over time, but porcelain and ceramic tiles may have to be replaced.

Target Area

Because ceramic and porcelain tiles are not too slippery, they are commonly used in the kitchen and bathroom, while glossy tiles of both types are ideal for central living areas where water spills are uncommon. If we truly want your kitchen to survive, go along with granite tiles, which are not only more water-resistant than the other two but also more resistant to damage, cracks, and chips in the event that you drop a large pot or pan on the ground accidentally.

Availability Of Patterns

Geometric, floral, wood, and a variety of many other designs are being printed on half-body ceramic or porcelain tiles, leading to a new boom in the tiling sector. Full-body porcelain tiles, on the other hand, have fewer variations since it is more difficult to create a wide variety of ideas in the clay mixture before firing it. However, since granite tiles are produced from actual stone, there is indeed a restricted range of patterns from which to choose.

Ease Of Installation

Ceramic and porcelain tiles are simple to construct on cement floors because they are bonded with a layer of glue. It can be installed as a do-it-yourself project as well. Granite tiles, on either hand, require specialized installation. An ordinary tile mason can charge between Rs. 22 and 25 per square foot, but if you really want the greatest finish, choose who charges between Rs. 32 and 35 per square foot.

Cost

The cost of tile flooring in Pakistan is an important factor to consider. It flooded the tiling market in Pakistan with foreign ceramic or porcelain tile possibilities. China, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Spain are also the main suppliers of ceramic tiles. Chinese or Irani tiles, but are also the most frequent, are the cheapest, costing around Rs. 800 and Rs. 1,000 per meter (approximately 3.25 feet). Manufactured in Malaysia and Indonesia, a slightly better quality of tile is accessible in the store for roughly Rs. 2,300 to Rs. 2,800 per meter. The best quality tiles in Pakistan originate from Spain, and they begin at Rs. 2,800 a meter and then go up from that.

Porcelain tiles, on the other hand, are classified according to whether they are full-body or half-body in terms of cost. Half-body porcelain tiles start at roughly Rs. 1,200 per meter, whereas full-body tiles up to Rs. 2,000 per meter. It’s important to note that this was just the beginning price for porcelain tiles; branded and imported kinds might be considerably more expensive. Granite tiles are usually of good quality, with a long lifespan and great strength. As a reason, their typical price per meter is somewhere between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,200.

If you consider the factors listed above, you know you’ve got a choice not only between various types of floor tiles in Pakistan but as well as between the features you want in your tiled flooring or the amount of money you have put down for a home repair and construction project. We’ve provided all of the information so that you can make an informed decision about your home’s flooring specifications.

Colorful artistic accents make fascinating additions to this peacefully gray and white modern interior, pictured by Maxim Spinkov. The bright eye-catching art pieces come in the form of stand-alone sculptures and unique murals that explode from simple white backgrounds. Other artwork inspires richly colored coordinated feature walls that completely change the character of the spaces they inhabit. In addition to the home’s colorful gallery, this interior also plays an inspiring collection of contemporary furniture, a wonderfully open and fluently functional living room, a relaxing master bedroom, a playful children’s room with a homework area, and two striking bathroom decorations. schemes with a dominant marble tile.

Entering this family home at the living room, we come to a modular sofa design with a shared backrest. Instead of acting as a solid separation between the living room and kitchen dining room, the lightweight piece allows for an open view between the two.

A square coffee table makes a quiet match for the contemporary sofa. Gray scatter pads join with the pale gray padding.

In an amazing color attitude, huge Ursbriko A collectible from Medicom Toy shines between the two large windows of the room.

A pair of tower shelves glow warmly inside the TV wall at the front of the lounge area, where a small library of books fills the vertical backlit corners.

The sleek, custom-built TV encloses several storage cabinets and niches in which pleasure is appropriate for the TV speakers. A wooden lacquered media cabinet threads a linear silhouette under the wall-mounted unit, where it provides drawers for movies, games, and electronics.

Behind the living room, a linear chandelier marks the dining room. A second, perpendicular linear chandelier defines the kitchen.

Stunning ceiling roses blaze around every golden light. Modern track lights frame decorative ceiling molding.

A racetrack dining table is surrounded by the A new chair by Marija Ružić Vukmanić & Ruđer Novak-Mikulić for Craftsman. A monochrome piece of wall art was chosen to keep the dining room moderate and to allow adjoining kitchen art to dominate the fame.

The bold kitchen art sets a bright abstract interest next to a pure white kitchen island.

Fresh white kitchen frames frame a set of metallic gold top cabinets that glow in the light. A combined golden island face catches the light behind a set of three unique kitchen bar stools.

In the master, a pair of elegant glass and metal bedroom pendant lights swing on either side of the bed. The lights go down inside the recess of a wooden framed mainboard feature wall with an atmospheric aura.

Simple bedside drawers flank each edge of the soft gray padded bed.

Parallel track lights flow light along each walkway around the modern bed.

A solid black media shelf confidently complements bold black door hardware across the closets.

The black media shelf transforms into a dressing room as it approaches the window wall.

Modern bathroom canvas pushes black and oak accents through a smooth white marble covered background. Black bathroom cranks complete the dark surface and integral basin.

The black toilet, red plate and black towel warmer continue the sharp bathroom accent.

A steel framed shower screen coordinates with a black rain shower. Built-in shelf corners in the shower provide an opportunity for subtle mood lighting.

Advancing into the nursery, we land on a playful black and white carpet.

Superhero Bobbleheads fill a built-in bookshelf, warmly lit with LED ribbons. A custom children’s desk merges with the tower of shelves to form a compact and functional homework assignment.

A padded swivel chair and radiator under the desk make homework more comfortable and convenient.

White window blinds and clean white cloths filter natural daylight for more comfortable use of a computer screen.

Floor-to-ceiling fitted wardrobes capitalize on every inch of available storage space.

A piece of colorful and beautiful children’s wall art inspires an orange painted feature wall in the children’s bedroom decorative plan. A green knitted throw on the baby bed chooses a secondary accent color.

The day bed designs a beautiful sofa during daylight hours – perfect for hanging out with friends. A small wall unit provides reading light later in the evening.

A striking white marble tile with an abundant black vein dominates this small bathroom project, covering the narrow floor and compact vanity.

At the other end of the room, a marble enclosed bathtub and a wet wall are highlighted by perimeter lighting.

A final marble surface climbs the cistern’s hidden wall.

A red saturated wall draws the eye down the corridor from the white living room to the home entrance.

Red paint wraps around to frame a decorated, gilded full-length mirror.

A hoarse color bursts from a wall art on the other side of the front door, where it draws attention to an entrance table. White closets line the walls of the home entrance, providing ample stock for outdoor coats, shoes, bags and huge home cleaning equipment.

Equal white closets create a mirror effect on the opposite side, bordered by luxurious gold hardware.

Practical storage ideas use small hallways and home entrances, bedrooms are multifunctional with clothing areas and home workshops. The children’s rooms are beautiful, colorful and compact, with fun ideas for children’s closets, built-in bookcases, tailored bed designs, children’s desks and adorable decor.

A warm tan accent thread is woven through the first of our three featured interior designs that perfectly complement natural wood tone elements within the plan. Color coordinated version of a Leon: The Professional print balances inserted shelf niche. The modern sofa has a tan ottoman section, while Around coffee tables designed by Thomas Bentzen for Muuto hold things purely monochrome against a geometrically designed Scandinavian rug.

On trendy arches and racetrack, motifs round out the curly contemporary interior. A unique modern chandelier drops frozen eye sockets over the living room.

Scandi’s TV style combines sleek wood grain and clean white aesthetics, while an Asian altar shelf is the main focus high above the TV screen. An attractive wooden lined arch leads to the two bedrooms.

Running screens are combined with a sideboard to build a unique and useful storage full room divider between the dining room and the door that leads into the bathroom.

A rectangular dining table is set up against the back of the elegant room partition. A gray ceramic flower vase of foliage creates a relaxed table centerpiece.

A wine storage bin and a black retro fridge-freezer bring refreshments and ice to the dining room.

The small kitchen runs away from the other side of the fridge-freezer. Wooden base cabinets absorb natural heat into the mainly white decorative pattern, while white wall cabinets increase the space.

In the compact main room, an upholstered bed and woven carpet put gray accents. A wooden effect panel crosses the white-painted capture wall to connect the bed with a floating toilet. A round vanity mirror bridges the two-tone effect.

Built-in white closets achieve a clean, minimalist finish at the foot of the bed.

Green accents color the beautiful children’s room. A tailored green headpiece design embraces the arched decorative motif where an Aballs pendant designed by Jaime Hayon for Parachilna illuminates the bed unit.

Tailored children’s closets combine white and wood finishes and a touch-striped texture.

A billboard adjoins the tailored children’s bed design, which encompasses a wall of toy storage and bookshelves on its elongated base. A mountain theme cuts a creative green accent across the closet doors.

Our second outstanding interior design is a modern cottage. An arc floor lamp completes a chic arched wall molding behind the low modern Japanese style sofa.

The wall mounted TV set has a taste of modern and traditional aesthetics, with its natural wood and screen door inserts. A Buddhist altar shelf floats above the divided two-colored wall treatment. A beautiful ceiling fan carries the rich wooden accent to the ceiling. See more unique ceiling fans here.

A prominent black marble coffee table emphasizes the delicate nature of the white and beige woven rug. A second coffee table nests a complimentary wooden equivalent.

A range of scatter cushions creates a mixed tone arrangement across the white upholstered sofa.

A low, Asian style accent chair completes the compact lounge layout.

Between the living rooms and dining rooms, a wooden framed arch leads openly into the connected kitchen.

A light-permeable display room shares the home front door to create a functional family entrance. The combination of natural wood and rattan ends up forming a warm and welcoming corner.

The kitchen is a generously proportioned space that allows the whole family to gather in food preparation activities and at the food peninsula. See more inspiration for white and wood kitchens.

When we enter the main bedroom of this home, we are greeted by a wonderful airy and light decorative aesthetic of clean white walls and solid oak furniture. An oak floating TV stand completes the bedside table and matching makeup table next to the window.

The bespoke bed of the platform bed extends perfectly across the back of the makeup table to create coherence. A round mirror delicately serves the vanity, while a Matisse art print adds a bold back accent over the bed.

A mini bedroom lamp illuminates a turned wooden bedside table. Custom closets and Eames walnut stool designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller make up an elegant dressing room.

A clear glass vase brings a vibrant glow of natural greenery to the bedroom TV wall.

The beautiful children’s wall decor pours positive energy over a built-in bed design and a wall-mounted children’s desk.

The small floating desk is lined with an arched bookshelf niche inside the closet, where school books can be kept close at hand. A strip of wood continues the desktop end through the white cabinets.

Bow-shaped cubes make adorable perches for special soft toys, treasure items and extra books. See more inspiration on how to incorporate elegant arches in interiors.

The home office contains double workplaces that are blessed with natural light from tall twin windows.

Built-in units store office supplies and large household items, while unique bookshelves display decorative pieces.

The final home tour in this series begins in a very small but elegant living room with a space-saving armless sofa. The striking black swing arm lamp above it is the 1-Arm Rotary Screen designed by Serge Mouille.

3D wall art creates subtle arches over the sofa. A set of round nest coffee tables completes the curves, while a geometric print rug brings a sharp contrast.

Next to the TV stand, a round ottoman provides additional, mobile lounge seating, or an occasional footstool. Black and white plaid throws create comfortable accents.

H&M style decorative vases add a curved aesthetic to the dining table that stands opposite the kitchen island according to the compact open concept. Asian inspired dining chairs bring curved wooden frames to the set.

Above the smart food set, a paper globe hanging light seamlessly embraces the Asian and Scandi aesthetic.

Black, white and wooden kitchen designs merge quietly with the serene living room.

Black and white floor tiles define the kitchen area from the rest of the living space.

A runway formed a niche nest between two architectural arches.

One of the arches visually separates the living space from the small home entrance, where custom cabinets use every inch of vertical and horizontal wall space.

More units, a shoe storage shelf and an entrance bench fill the other side of the lobby area. Decorative vases add an artistic touch.

In the double bedroom, a geometric bed and a perfectly compatible rug create a fresh modern statement.

A black buttress swings between providing a reading light over the bed and a task light to the desk. Above the workspace, a set of floating shelves contain books and decorative objects.

More books slide under a built-in window seat.

Throwuskuseno draws a geometric print on an elegant bedroom chair. An arch separates the bedroom wardrobe, and creates an attractive bedroom entrance.

A toilet is placed in the white cupboards, with a contrasting wooden back. A unique mirror arches inside the usual piece.

Fistish green accents enliven the pastel children’s room. A beautiful bear wall art adds a friendly companion over a unique toned green and wood plank bedside table. The plank roof continues across the entire width of the room, stopping behind a children’s desk with storage shelves at the base. A green accent corner encompasses a tower of wall shelves.

Another green accent bookshelf is placed at the end of the children’s closet, which is attached to the end of a tailored platform bed with storage drawers.

Declared chandelier forms the crown glory over a luxurious living space. Large and grand, shining modern chandeliers add an undeniably incredible factor with a striking sculptural element and a delightful, atmospheric luster. This collection of four attractive contemporary home interiors appeals to a luxurious light to create a dramatic spirit and add core stability to large and impressive arrangements. In these high-end spaces, we will also be inspired by chic furniture, spacious arrangements, elegant decoration, high contrasting color palettes and exquisite home accessories. We will visit luxurious lounges, formal dining rooms and kitchens, as well as a darkly attractive modern bedroom plan and an even darker bathroom concept.

Located in odódzo, Poland, The Nature House is a unique modern apartment, over 900 square meters. With room heights climbing up to almost four meters high, the spectacular Q2 chandelier by Jan Pauwels for Baxter makes an effective piece in the high void. A dark feature wall and ceiling panels form a contrasting background that elevates the fascinating light piece.

Shades of rich brown, smooth latte and cream tones merge into a warm and attractive decorative palette. Glass walls open up a picturesque setting of garden greenery.

Modern nesting coffee tables are gathered in the center of a four-sided conversational furniture arrangement. The two-tone plank completes the upholstered furniture selection, and the overlapping brown and cream rugs.

A seductive courtyard thrives at the heart of the house, with four large trees pushing up through the atrium.

On the other side of the courtyard, two Serie Up 2000 seats by Gaetano Pesce for B&B Italia are arranged in a separate seat from the main lounge. A round rug and a low, circular coffee table echo the curves of the sculptural chairs. Small side tables and a modern floor lamp transform the area into a practical, comfortable reading angle.

An extraordinary dining room chandelier zigzags through a huge formal dining room that is equipped for sixteen guests.

The neighboring kitchen island is just as long and just as spectacular, crowned by the amazing Algorithmic lighting designed by Toan Nguyen for Vibia.

The excellent lighting installation illuminates the entire length of the vast kitchen island and a fused dining surface that is designed as a more intimate environment.

When we enter our second outstanding home tour, we are immediately dismayed by the cube-like formation of the Q3 luster by Jan Pauwels for Baxter.

A piece of square wall art and a square coffee table complete the shape of the modern chandelier.

Two cognac leather armchairs break the square-shaped theme with a contrasting rounded silhouette.

Two of Baxter’s Q3 chandeliers gloriously illuminate a high-end modern dining room.

A large wall clock was chosen to achieve balance with the scale of the striking chandeliers.

In the adjoining kitchen, the main light attraction attracts all eyes to the floor.

LED kitchen light wires along the island plinth to shed a golden glow over black marble floors. Another beautiful courtyard grows a green view.

In this black, white and gray luxurious home interior, a Cosmic lamp by Jan Pauwels for Quasar resembles a 3D star map over the living room. Sampei floor lamps designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese provide atmospheric light behind the modern sofa.

The Cosmos lamp is hung from a grand double-height ceiling.

The bulbs are reflected brightly in a unique black glass coffee table below.

Concrete planters contain mature indoor plants that gently reflect light with their bright leaves.

A textured surface adds interesting highlights to the simple black TV wall.

The black linear chandelier includes a planter on its frame to bring some greenery.

Translucent table legs give the space a light aesthetic.

A plinth-like black marble coffee table set up a solid centerpiece in the living room. The flames of a modern fireplace dance along with a reflective golden fireplace.

High black doors hide the TV above the fireplace.

3D wall art publishes drama with light and shadow.

The concise angular formation of the chandelier is reflected in a unique floor treatment and in project dining chairs.

Selected materials create coherence and gentle refinement.

The unusual bedroom project is decorated with an equally unusual table lamp on a floating headboard.

A decorative vase creates an arrangement of cascading height with the lamp.

An all-black bathroom decorative scheme absorbs much of the light, so perimeter light has been added to deal with the shadows.

White floor helps distribute top light.

A manageable hall shaft is defined under an LED ribbon in the entrance, where a calendula puff shines a great welcome.

A Modern Japanese House With A Serene Courtyard

A unique segmented layout defines this amazing Japanese home, belonging to a couple and their three children near downtown Shunan, Yamaguchi County. Designed by Hayato Komatsu Architects, the rooms of this unique home are sectioned into boxes around the edge of the site. Glass corridors tie up the volumes as they take on the green beauty of a large and serene central courtyard, as well as several smaller yards. The design was formed to realize all the wishes of the client without completely overriding the scale of the 807.03 square meter plot and the surrounding residential environment. The result is a space with a sense of unity and a deep connection with nature.

A steel enclosure door waits at the end of a short path that leads into the property, just off the main road. The modern door matches a frame of steel windows, which increases its scale and size.

The main main entrance door for guests is housed inside a wooden tin enclosure that extends to the roof line to increase its warm and text effect. The cool gray exterior of the home creates a tonal contrast that pushes the eye to the welcome entrance.

Glass roof panels let the blue sky into connecting corridors that connect each volume of the unique home design. Glass walls open the corridors to the courtyards, which bloom on both sides.

Once through the narrow glazed corridor, a huge living space opens up with towering ceilings. Huge windows bring natural light flooding over the rich wood tone and gray brick interior. Tailored bookshelves stack decoration up to the roof.

The two-story lounge puts a small, casual dining room into the lower half of the layout, while a luxurious lounge tops. A chic modern L-shaped sofa divides the upper floor between the living room layout and a formal dining room at the back.

A rectangular coffee table is located in the center of an understated gray carpet that balances the gray tile floor treatment in the tiny dining room.

A bistro pedestal table sets up the secondary dining room as a place for tea and light snacks.

Three steps down gives the area a pleasant, intimate feel that is enhanced by the presence of a wood burning fireplace.

Surrounding courtyard views bring nature rushing to the airy living space.

An outdoor seating seat lies in the welcome patio design. Free installation of wooden ceiling panels flows from inside the living room to the shaded overhang outside.

At night the courtyards light up to preserve the magical panorama.

The L-shaped volume pushes the kitchen layout just beyond the corner of the living room, giving it an unobstructed view of the luxurious courtyard.

A breakfast bar returns to the next connecting corridor from floor to ceiling glass. Three kitchen bar stools let the children contribute to dinner.

Wide expanses create the feeling of walking outside.

A stone walkway in the manner of a garden path was carried out inside the house, to rebalance an area where there are no exterior views.

In the main room, a thin floor-to-ceiling side window and a clerestory window ensure privacy. Furniture is minimal, with only a platform bed, bedside table, desk and IC F 2-style lamp. La original IC F 2 was projected by Michael Anastassiades for Flos.

Home library is secretly hidden.

The library also serves as a music appreciation room, with heaps of CDs and a sound system.

Shoji doors add traditional Japanese elegance.

The doors are pocketed in a deep wooden frame.

Even the bathroom overlooks a courtyard.

The courtyard next to the bathtub is elevated to improve the view.

Exposed wooden ceiling beams add a bold visual interest.

Authentic tatami mats dress the floor.

The material palette remains cooperative throughout the home.

Graceful shrubs soften the fort home exterior.

Wooden slat panels examine the connecting footpaths.

Rocky borders plume the paved driveway, leading to green shrubbery and trees that give only a slight taste of the natural bonds that surround the rest of the household.

Exterior lighting gently illuminates the plants and the welcoming front entrance door.

The secondary front door is gently obscured by small trees.

The central courtyard gives the segmented dwelling a general sense of unity.

With the windows open, gentle winds blow through inner spaces to ignite the senses with an outer soundtrack of whispering leaves and bird song, and aromas of earth, flowers and flowers.

Each yard differs in scale, sunlight and height, creating different experiences as one moves through the house.

The site of 807.03 square meters holds a building area of 444.59 square meters, resulting in a total floor area of 471.24 square meters. A parking garage holds up to four cars at the front of the building.

The final layout of the rooms was decided by imagining many everyday situations and likely future lifestyle changes.

Measuring 222 square meters in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, this luxurious designer city hall has three floors of unique modern luxury. Displayed by D3 design, the interior features attractive contemporary furniture projects, luxurious stone and terrace elements and a striking yellow accent palette. Each area has been cleverly created to bring out elegant yet bold aesthetics, brought to life under mood lighting. We’ll also find inspiration for an ultra stylish children’s room that includes a tailored children’s bed design with a lounge bunk bed, as well as a unique built-in storage and window seating facility for multi-level play. Floor plans for all three levels are included at the end of the home tour.

A striking modern fireplace wall is tiled with deeply textured stone. An elegant white marble fireplace makes a smooth contrast under the flame.

A warm mustard tufted sofa draws against the fireplace for the warmest accent in the room, with warm mustard upholstery.

Rectangle carpet contains the two-section sectional sofa layout. One side of the sectional layout is facing the living room TV wall, while the rest of the seats face the heat of the fire.

Smooth wooden wall panels and silver pieces adorn the modern TV wall, where a white marble media shelf creates an understated finishing touch.

Tinted glass builds a translucent partition wall between the living room and the stairs. The staircase is centrally located in the home layout, dividing the living room from the kitchen dining room.

Thin floor lamps emit atmospheric glare after dark.

In the dining room, another wooden back TV wall and dimly lit glass and cutlery form an inviting background. The striking black networked modern chandelier we see suspended over the table is the Vibia Match.

Two unique bar stools make an elegant addition to the chic white marble kitchen peninsula. The two top black pendants above are the Vibia Linear Wireflow.

Soft gray wall devices connect with the padding stool. A wall of full-height white kitchen units fades quietly in the background so as not to overwhelm the space.

LED ribbons highlight the beautiful marble staircase design, warmly cutting across the gray vein.

A deeply padded upholstered bed design immediately gives a pleasant tone as we enter the master bedroom.

A small bedside table is tucked in on either side of the upholstered platform bed. A modern table lamp shines on one side …

… In a trendy linear pendant light illuminates the other.

A large frameless mirror doubles the effect of the line pendant light, and reflects a TV wall at the opposite side of the room.

The interior door disappears inside a wall of smooth gray roof that forms an elegant mount for the bedroom TV. Perimeter lighting washes a warm glow over the unassuming feature.

Track lights draw a border around the ceiling, illuminating the full walkway around the bed.

Heavy gray cloths ensure restful sleep, while white veils give privacy during waking hours.

The yellow accent theme set in the living room returns in the form of a curved bench chair.

A large closet island displays and stores fashion accessories dust-free under a clear glass top. Half of the clothing collection is placed under packages inside full-white fronted units.

On the opposite side of the room, a smart black locker system provides open rails, clothes racks and integrated chests of drawers.

Cabinet lighting strongly helps choice.

Black bathrooms complete the dark floor treatment and contrast clearly with bright walls.

A backlit built-in shelf makes a welcoming glow inside the shower.

The children’s room is governed by a tailored children’s bed project with a living room bunk bed.

Main yellow accents add a sudden burst of energetic energy to the neutral children’s room.

The yellow shelf inserts draw attention to a unique built-in library and window seating installation that encourages multi-level gaming. A large Miffy lamp and a smaller companion hang at the children’s library. See more ideas on children’s night lights here.

Modern wall light focuses on reading light above the bed.

More yellow accents breathe life into a second bookshelf on the other side of the children’s bedroom, where a collection of project objects form a creative space around the desk.

A black and white turntable completes the all-white desk project.

Terrazzo fills the child’s bathroom with a lively pattern.

Huge pieces of color fall across the shower wet wall, descending onto the bathtub.

A loose corner rises inside a wall of customary furniture.

A round mirror forms a beautiful partner for an arched bathroom ceiling that surrounds a beautiful marble decorative scheme.

Simple white doors form the face of a useful storage cupboard that has been set up inside the upper cistern wall.

The floor plan of the city hall allows us to better understand the effectiveness of the central staircase in the division of space, as well as the vast amount of storage in each area.

Each measuring just under 40 square meters, these three apartment interiors in Odessa, Ukraine, inspire three different personality types. Our first tour takes us to a sophisticated home with a bronze framed glass wall design, unique modern furniture ideas and an unquestionably luxurious kitchen project – despite its small proportions. Our second stop is made at a simple, young and sturdy apartment interior, designed for tenants, with another glass wall project that lends light to a multi-purpose living room. Color seekers may like our final prominent interior, where rich color accents add a touch of the unexpected. Floor plans included at the end of each tour.

This complex living room belongs to an apartment with one bedroom of 35 square meters, located in a multi-storey apartment complex. The low-back design of a stone gray modular sofa makes the small area appear open and therefore more spacious.

The compact apartment consists of a combined living room and kitchen, a glass wall project and a bathroom.

Minimal amounts of furniture, a hollow decor and a limited material palette allow emphasis to fall on the remaining high-quality elements and sea view. Thanks to the glass wall, the ocean panorama flows unhindered throughout the width of the apartment, creating an immediate factor entering the home.

A custom-cut frameless mirror was formed in accordance with the front door of the apartment, which creates a false window effect on the solid empty entrance wall.

A unique faucet adds a shiny copper accent to the clean white kitchen island.

The glass walls of the bedroom are framed by matching copper surrounds.

The TV wall is an understated thing, kept streamlined to keep the full functional width of the space.

A square kitchen sink lies sharply into the untouched marble roof.

A unique bathroom sink gives the all-white bathroom an interesting focus. LEDs emphasize the floating characteristic of low, murmur vanity.

Then we move on to a rented apartment of 37 square meters. A cool white and gold wood tone colors the multifunctional living space.

A small dining table set overlapped the change of floor covering, standing across and white tile from the kitchen and the solid pine board from the living room.

A small workshop is arranged inside the bedroom, with a simple floating desk and a coordinating white swivel chair.

Pine panels form a comprehensive bedboard design that expands the spatial sense.

In the bathroom, a modern pedestal sink and a round vanity mirror smoothly match their identical diameter.

Our third small home tour in Odessa, Ukraine, takes place in a 35-square-meter apartment. The customers asked for a subtle monochrome decoration scheme but short colored moments made the final cut. Burgundy softening visually warms the small living room, and sets it apart from the nearby dining room.

Two workstations fill the opposite side of the compact but functional living room.

Pale gray scattering cushions and matching throw separate the solid burgundy sofa design.

In the hallway of the home, deep charcoal storage contains a lighted screen corner that shines a welcoming glow at the front door.

The full-grain storage volume flows around the corner to blend seamlessly with the small kitchen design.

Fresh white crown melting neatly fuses the built-in storage volume with the structural walls of the apartment.

Wall-mounted pendant light makes for a delicate accompaniment to the small dining table.

Gentle atmospheric light sets the scene for a comfortable dinner for two.

The living room TV is inserted next to the dual workplaces. A repositionable TV wall bracket allows it to swing outward to face the sofa, or stay angled to the kitchen or dining room.

The small kitchen is broken into two walls of full-height dark gray units and a contrasting wall of bright beech base cabinets and tops. A charcoal ceiling panel bridges the kitchen, connecting the darker elements.

A charcoal gray bed sheet panels strip through a lighter gray paint inside the bedroom.

A unique tray top side table adds a fun burst of bright burnt orange that dominates the monochrome scheme.

The foot of tailored bedspreads under a row of wall cupboards.

Recessed shelves cause a break between the closet and a built-in toilet.

A burgundy vanity stool adds a rich note to the makeup table, and ties back to the lounge accent color.

Laundry equipment is located inside the compact bathroom. Unique bathroom lighting illuminates the pool.

An open shelf is available to store soap dispensers next to the basin and a food remover for the laundry.

Textured tiles elegantly darken the lower third of the bathroom and engulf the bathtub, while the upper walls are light and bright.

Atmospheric light washes the tiled wet wall.

An ultra narrow heated towel adds a playful baby blue accent to the small space.

Crafting Cool Clarity With All-White Interiors

White is the color of purity and perfection. Some color matches white, but do you have to have a completely white interior? Well, the short answer is yes! All-white interiors are timeless, white walls highlight architectural features and white décor makes homes larger and more spacious. For art lovers, there is no better background than pure white – just ask a gallery owner. Some people might think that white is a priceless choice, but any color decoration can cause a boring result. The truth is that white interiors retain clarity of design. Pure white slate offers the opportunity to play with furniture shape, texture and light design without distraction

With a completely white interior, it depends on the furniture project to be topped. In this white lounge, a projected armchair elegantly dominates the seat.

A graceful floor lamp leans into the living room space, illuminating a chic white pedestal coffee table project. Gallery white walls give due attention to a piece of flowing line art.

Because an inactive TV screen puts a black spot on the cleanliness of an all-white interior decorative scheme, it makes sense to hide it somehow. In this case, sleek doors look like elegant white wall panels over the modern fireplace.

The panel doors retract flat against the TV wall so as not to force the living room space.

Soft furniture upholstery prevents the white trim from becoming too cold or clinical.

The impeccable aesthetics of the living room influences the design of an open kitchen dining room.

Light shelves seem to burn brighter in the simple white surroundings, without the visual complication of any added color disorder.

Shiny white cupboards evoke a clean and hygienic atmosphere for food.

A floating budget is underlined to match the LED wall shelves. The light highlights the subtle marble vein in the back white wall.

Flat-front storage cabinets create an uncomplicated entryway entrance.

In the white bedroom, a platform bed has a floating effect thanks to inserted base supports and some sub-bed lighting strips. The flat color palette of the camera really helps create the feature. Next to the window, a black floor lamp and a gray bedroom chair give darker notes.

A small vanity area provides a place to wash hands once inside the home entrance.

In Odessa, Ukraine, a modern sofa design cuts a clear silhouette into the all-white interior of a 107-square-meter apartment. The raised base of the sofa adds to the open and airy aesthetic of the living room.

In this home design, bright black panels smoothly camouflage the interrupting black TV into a bold strip across the entire width of the room.

Black track light cuts through a cool minimalist look through a clear, white corridor.

The corridor flows directly into the white room, which allows a light part between the two spaces.

Solid white modern dining chairs and a matching round dining table almost disappear from the center of the room as they blend seamlessly with the clean white floor. However, a burst of invigorating natural greenery is always a welcome addition, whatever the room palette, and is used here as an elegant table centerpiece.

Even the built-in appliances in the one wall kitchen match white finishes.

A floating platform bed design “hovers” in this white bedroom as well. A mirror capture wall adds weightless magic.

Fresh white decoration seems to drive out the walls of the small home entrance. Frameless doors further simplify the look.

The last of our three prominent home interiors is a much smaller yet perfectly shaped apartment where white decor is key to visually pushing out the walls and ceiling line. A neat white TV stand is mounted at the base of a staircase that leads to a bedroom mezzanine.

The custom staircase project is an opportunity for storage. Precise cut doors crack right into the contour of the steps and lifts.

Every inch of space is consumed for top storage cupboards, a built-in shelf or desktop space and yet, thanks to the all-encompassing white finish, the home office corner feels completely untidy and quiet.

On the other side of narrow partition walls, a home entrance and a small kitchen dining room complete the ground floor layout.

A solid run of white doors removes the kitchen.

When the kitchen double doors are retracted, a warm, golden glow of light spills out of the preparation area.

The nearby dining table can be used as an additional preparation space.

Hidden behind the kitchen doors, a gray accent wall bends the all-white decoration rule.

Stainless steel kitchen accessories and appliances are complemented by a cool gray background.

A white entrance closet merges with the white-painted architecture.

On the mezzanine floor, a children’s room is secured behind a child safety gate.

A crib occupies one side of the mezzanine, while the parent sleeping area is raised to create a division.

Horizontal railings create a white window shot-like aesthetic.

Floor plans.

Luxury Beachfront Property In A Jungle Landscape

.

A series of pavilions form this 1000 square meter beach property in Santa Teresa Beach, Costa Rica, expertly designed by architect Studio Saxe. Abundant tropical scenery integrates a jungle experience into the fragmented home, and beautifully frames the ocean view. A pioneer in sustainable tropical architecture, the project features passive systems that honor its stunningly green surroundings. Cross ventilation between the live programs also merges into a wonderful backyard project, rich in vegetation. In the home, interiors are developed under happily cooling white decorative patterns with earthy wood-tone accents. Retractable glass walls connect the interior living spaces with the jungle on its doorstep, so Mother Nature is only ever stepping away.

In this unique fragmented property project, separate pavilions contain the bedrooms, living spaces and service areas. The luxurious living room is freshly white, spacious free space. White sofas draw an L-shaped border around the living area, while a luxurious kitchen dining room occupies the rest of the volume.

A rustic coffee table adds a golden honey tone in the middle of the ethereal interior. Inserted perimeter lights shine a golden glow around the ceiling line.

Retractable doors break the living room pavilion on either side, adjoining the interior living space with the beautiful scenery.

Just outside the combined kitchen lounge, a huge dining room occupies the terrace. A series of dining room pendant lights are repeated along their length.

Floating wooden steps run along the entire length of the building to ensure that the interior and exterior space converge effortlessly. The oak dining table matches the wooden stair end.

Fourteen dining chairs await a large feast of guests.

A decorated area, a pair of outdoor chairs and a small side table make up a separate seating area.

Circulation of indoor and outdoor spaces weaves a harmony that allows homeowners to continually immerse themselves in the natural habitat as they alternate between spaces.

At night there is magical air around the tropical surroundings.

Palms grow immediately from the sun deck.

A bed of tropical plants grows along the edge of the deck, placing the pool in the abundant jungle.

The planting thins to the turf on the other hand, creating a drained area to arrange sunbeds.

Exterior lights illuminate the stairs at night so as not to stumble.

An elegant outdoor sofa and chairs form a tiny outdoor lounge at the end of the pool, cooled by the shade of the sloping palms.

The lighted pool and raised plants gave a beautiful color after dark.

Several seats offer options depending on the pool.

The ocean panorama glows through the trees on the property.

Separate programs facilitate transverse ventilation, as each space is exposed on two or three exterior walls.

The overlapping roofs of the pavilions create a charming circulation of space between the programs.

Extended rooflines were included to offer protection from the scorching sun and from rains through carefully calculated bioclimatic design.

The analysis of precipitation, sun pattern and wind ensures comfort with minimum energy consumption, and thus reduces the environmental footprint of the house.

Many other sustainable systems were also played here. Rainwater harvesting and water recycling systems, as well as energy, generate passive design at the heart of this project.

A series of thin columns support the roof planes, which creates a lightly floating effect.

Steel and wood construction and concrete foundations facilitate the illusion.

A path weaves through the soils, passing between senior trees and smaller shrubs. An outdoor swing chair makes a dreamy place to take off the hours in the shade with a good book and a cocktail in hand.

Retractable glass walls remove the boundaries between the home interior and the glorious exterior spaces.

The bedrooms are open to the tropical landscape and to the soothing sound of the ocean.

4 poster beds furnish the bedrooms so that a curtain of curtains can be pulled around the beds to avoid any bugs that may get in through the open windows. In this graceful white series, a clean white sofa replaces the average bed end, and another seat is located in the transverse breeze between two windows. A driftwood table sets up a proper beach aesthetic.

Natural carpet adds a moment of warm texture to the polished white concrete floor that complements earthy wood tone furniture around the room.

Rectangular wall lights illuminate footpaths and wooden milky linings.

Roof windows add ventilation to the bathrooms. Wood and rattan end retain the naturalistic look.

The amazing property is located back a short walk from the beach. From above, it is easy to see how the overlapping roof lines form the canopy of the tropical courtyard design, and how the trees at its core stand out.

Front elevation of the beachfront property.

High southeast.

The floor plan illustrates the division of volumes and the assigned use of each individual program. We can also see how the architecture interacts with the landscape, moving around established tall trees, and where new forest lines are implemented to protect, guide and define the exterior areas and elements of the home.

Graphic Designers Show What 6 Asian Castles Looked Like Before Falling Into Ruins

You definitely want to travel before this point, so the best we can do is offer you a way to discover something new and exciting without leaving your home. This time it is the largest and most populous continent, Asia, with its 45 million square kilometers of deserts, mountains, plateaus, plains and jungles that carry the history of ancient civilizations. Budget Direct has decided to digitally rebuild 6 castles that have become ruins over the years across five countries in Asia. The architectural wonders of Asia restore their former glory right before our eyes.

This is the newest project in the series of reconstructions by Budget Direct: the team has previously revived European castles, Ancient Wonders and UNESCO-protected heritage sites.

“In 2020, millions of people around the world will be stuck at home, and even in 2021, there are many travel restrictions still in place. To support those looking for inspiration on a travel chair, Budget Direct has decided to bring back some of the most awesome castles from all over Asia. The team started by making a long list of castles in Asia and then limited these to those that had resources available for us to digitally readjust.

They then chose the castles with the most architectural marvel from across the continent to rebuild. The team has been working with researchers, architects and digital designers to bring these ancient castles into the 21st century. ”

So sit back, relax, and start the virtual journey! And hopefully, you’ll find out something new along the way today.

Alamut Castle, Alamut Valley, Iran

In 1090, Imam Hassan-i Sabbāh allegedly conquered the castle without shedding a drop of blood. The new state secured its power through targeted attacks on enemy leaders. Those who carried out these attacks were contemptuously called “Hashashin” (“tumultuous grass”), thus giving birth to the word “Assassin”. Ironically, Alamut’s fame caused its demise; its various conquerors demolished the castle while searching for a legendary assassin.

Alamut Rock is a popular day trek that offers a lookup view of the surrounding country. However, not much remains of Alamut Castle itself; its few surviving stone clouds are covered in scaffolding while the Iranian government tries to partially restore it for tourists.

The Old Summer Palace, Beijing, China

Yuanming Yuan – known in the Western World as the Old Summer Palace – was not a single building but a 3.5 square kilometer complex of palaces, lakes, gardens, towers and sculptures. The pride of the Qing dynasty, Yuanming Yuan, was largely destroyed by British and French troops in retaliation for the death of a British envoy during the Second Opium War. Further destruction occurred during the Boxer Rebellion and the Cultural Revolution.

We chose here to rebuild Haiyantang from the Yuanming Yuan (The Palace of Calm Seas). In front of a two-story Western-style palace, a water clock surrounded the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Today, the Martian ornament of the fountain sits within the contour of its former depression, backed by a spaced view of fallen palace columns.

Hagi Castle, Hagi, Japan

The Mōri Samurai clan lost to Tokugawa in the Battle of Sekigahara, and as a result, had to rebuild their capital in the small seaside town of Hagi. The Mōri got their revenge, however. The castle became the capital of the Chōshū Domain, which was instrumental in the final overthrow of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Ironically, the castle was dismantled by the new government in 1874 as part of a policy of centralization and modernization.

Hagi was very awesome at the time. Multiple galleries and walls protect the surrounding land, many of which are still visible. The main wooden fort has been dismantled, but its stone base and part of its moat stand. Higher up the mountain, the remains of a reserve fort can be found.

Ghazni Citadel, Ghazni, Afghanistan

The former slave Sebüktigin received the governorship of Ghazni in 977, but he promptly rebelled against his ruling Iranian rulers to found the Ghazni Empire. Ghazni became the war point of Afghanistan, sought after by the VIP conquerors from the history of Timur (Tamerlane) to the Mongols. When the citadel was famously conquered by the British in 1839, Afghan leadership had to flee Kabul. It was also used as a U.S. military base after 2001.

The remains of the citadel rest on a central hill above the walled city. However, neglect, war and weather severely damaged Ghazni. 14 of its original 32 towers have collapsed, one recently as 2019. Today, Ghazni’s walls, towers and citadel are in danger of being lost permanently to the weather winds.

Raigad Fort, Raigad, Maharashtra, India

Although parts of the structure date from 1030 AD, the already imposing fortifications of Raigad were expanded by Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji was crowned Chhatrapati (“Umbrella Lord”) here in 1674, establishing the Marathan Confederacy as opposed to the Mughal Empire. The Confederacy ruled Raigad until its destruction by the British East India Company in 1818.

The main entrance to the castle is 820 meters above sea level – a climb of 1737 steps. (Luckily now there is an aerial tramway.) Visitors can still look at the remains of two of the three watchtowers, several reservoirs, stone trading booths and a famous wall called Hirakani Buruj.

Takeda Castle, Asago, Hyogo, Japan

Takeda was built in the 15th century by “the Red Monaco” – a man partly responsible for plunging Japan into the century of chaos known as the Sengoku period. The fort was later conquered by Toyotomi Hideyoshi during a reunion. After Hideyoshi’s death, the new shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu accused the final lord of the castle of arson during a pivotal battle. From here Takeda decayed.

Today the ruins of the castle sit 353 meters above sea level. Although no buildings remain standing on the mountain itself, a row of temples has survived at the base. The stone foundations of the castle are well preserved, having undergone minor restorations in the late twentieth century. Due to a seasonal fog that fills the valley, some mornings Takeda seems to float above the clouds.

Watch this space for more information on that. Stay tuned to Feeta Blog for the latest updates about Architrcture, Lifestyle and Interior Design.

Living comfortably in a space of less than 30 square meters requires some creative thinking, and this pair of studio designs have space-saving ideas that are sure to inspire. Each of these two unique small home interiors includes playroom tailored furniture that allows you to use the floor layout completely new. Home design number one has a tailored cube of the living room and bedroom furniture in one – no conventional sofa bed visible – and storage space is plentiful but unseen. Our second home design brings many closets in which an entire bathroom is hidden, and built-in bookshelf ears in a multi-level bedroom with a unique home workshop.

Our first prominent home is a 29-square-meter studio apartment owned by a young designer, located in Pruszkow, Poland. Despite its compact proportions, the minimalist living room is clearly zoned with the implementation of cubic volumes and contrasting colors.

The living room “cube” is custom-built furniture. The design fuses a tailored L-shaped sofa with copious amounts of hidden storage space around it and below, plus a bookshelf within one end.

A modern coffee table completes the square lounge layout. Part of the sofa was formed with the same steel frame backs to create a custom cohesion.

The box under the sofa hides a surprise lito trundle. The bed extends at the convenient reach of the bookcase, making it easier to choose to go to bed.

Thanks to its connectable design, this multifunctional light can be turned off from the ceiling of the kitchen dining room to become a floor-standing lamp next to the bed.

When it is in its kitchen dining room, the unique lamp is hung from a ceiling shelf to illuminate the dining peninsula.

A modern chair drops a black accent on both sides of the wooden effect bench.

Large windows fill the small living room with bright natural light. A home workspace is set up next to the glass.

An all-white kitchen project is equipped with a coordinated white integrated oven to complement the simplified aesthetic. Wrapping the small dining table with a contrast finish helps to clearly share the open concept.

The food peninsula is actually a mobile module that can become a stand-alone table/island. As seen here, the module can also be joined to the desk to make a much larger table that will seat up to eight people for dinner.

In this square configuration, the dining table and desk form a collaborative double workspace.

A solid wooden entrance bench adds a textured rustic touch to a smooth white corridor.

A wall of entrance storage is hidden behind modest handle-free cabinet fronts.

The storage wall includes a sliding volume that contains cleaning equipment and shoes.

Another panel pulls down to reveal a smooth surface.

The last door of the home entrance leads to the bathroom.

Atmospheric lighting accentuates textured dark gray wall treatment and a coordinated integrated bathroom sink.

A shower stands at the end of the narrow linear space.

Slatted ceiling panels exaggerate the long look of the room. Narrow warehouses at the end of the van store face towels and toilet supplies.

Our second home interior is a studio apartment with a special semicircular balcony design.

The balcony forms the main attraction of the tiny living space. The sloping perimeter and open roof bring joyful tree-top views and unlimited daylight.

Indoor plants thrive in abundant sunlight, growing from the shelves of a custom shelf and from plant stands around the floor.

The large built-in bookshelf forms a partition between the main apartment and the bedroom. The open side shelves serve both zones and share the natural light.

On the other side of the triangular living space, one wall kitchen is stacked up to the ceiling line to make maximum use of vertical storage space. A ladder facilitates easy access.

Wooden frame doors seal the balcony. More indoor plants bring the leafy exterior views into the embrace of the unique sunroom.

Eye field makes the space pleasant as the sunsets.

White-coated web screens filter the panorama, while pure sunshine flows from above.

The cool concrete floor is dressed in gray, green and sunny yellow tiles when we arrive at the home entrance, which is also the access point to the bedroom domain.

The bed itself is raised above the height of basic storage cupboards, which gives it an overview of the housing by the upper open shelf volume. Interesting objects line the shelves to give a strange decoration on both sides.

The multi-level small bedroom layout has a comfortable workspace across the midway point that benefits from the attractive view.

The raised floor gives the effect of going up to bed, even though the apartment is only one floor. The open shelf partition is invaluable for preventing feelings of claustrophobia in the narrow space, and for facilitating airflow.

A round coffee table takes up little space in the compact home and is light enough to be moved onto the balcony when needed.

Dining table focuses on the kitchen cabinets, hidden until needed. The table is just big enough to accommodate the two homeowners, so as not to eat up unnecessary space.

One of the other doors of a kitchen cabinet with full height is actually a secret door to the bathroom. Inside, sturdy storage shelves can also be used as a ladder, to enable the couple to quickly access bathroom supplies stacked up.

The floor plan shows that the bathroom sink is also plugged into the volume of the kitchen cabinet, which saves valuable space in the tiny shower.
