Additionally, textured finishes, such as faux brick, rustic wood paneling, or tactile wall coverings, will add depth and tactile appeal. These bold elements will create a captivating backdrop, enhancing the overall ambiance and making a powerful statement within interior spaces. The combination of patterns and textures will imbue rooms with a sense of personality and visual interest, making them truly unique and inviting.

A sense of calm and tranquility pervades all who enter this ethereal white abode. Displayed by Z Vizio, this spacious and light-filled White Home Design features smoothly curved murals and elegant arches. Storage furniture neatly wraps around the curved contours of the living room, where living room furniture is minimal and modern with soft silhouettes. White marble elements introduce moments of luxury, while natural wood tone accents instill a gentle visual warmth. Interesting lighting fixtures wrap around the edges of doors and shelves to create lighting and atmospheric brightness within the master bedroom design. Latite wall panels add a striking texture to a chic and welcoming modern bathroom.

The living room is a quiet white space with soothing contours. Elegant arched doors melt into a curved edge detail under a soft white stucco. A huge edge-to-edge, floor-to-ceiling window floods the great hall with natural light and opens up a view of the city from a balcony.

The arched main theme inspires other curved elements in the room design, such as the rounded living room floor lamp and modern coffee table design. A soft, upholstered sofa merges in tone with the pale stucco.

A large rug holds the minimalist living room layout together on a pale gray platform. At one corner of the carpet, a wooden book bar gently rounds the layout.

A marble side table adds a small dark anchor on the side of the contrasting pale sofa that ties in with the black coffee table finish.

The accent chair adds a touch of yellow ocher to the otherwise neutral home interior. Located next to the bright window, the cushioned chair makes for a comfortable read.

The open plan living room area flows perfectly into the dining room and further into the kitchen area. A paper dining room hanging light mimics the shape of the flute wooden pedestal table stands to make a cohesive pairing. A wet bar serves the dining room under a clear white and luxurious marble finish.

Curved walls contain kitchen appliances and visually separate the open-plan dining room from the long white galley kitchen.

Back on the dining room wet bar, a fluted deck is held by hand to fill matching glass tubes for the table.

The round dining table is a marble finish to complement the white marble back in the kitchen. A black cutter unit cuts down through the extreme white kitchen background to create a solid moment of contrast.

The kitchen units are trimmed with a curved border that creates a smooth arch over the kitchen countertop, creating a modern vignette.

An arched doorway leads from the living room to a minimalist home office. A wide white marble panel forms a luxurious focal wall that is brightly accentuated by the brightness of two long lighted wall panels. A row of office cupboards is raised from the floor to maintain the casual aesthetic.

Minimal decoration adorns the wall shelves, leaving the marble vein to provide all the interest. In front stands a modern desk, in soothing bright wood grain. Wooden stools furnish one side of the minimalist desk, while a curved desk chair rises up in command.

Inside the master bedroom, a channel tufted upholstered bed is paired with a custom design headboard that is brightly outlined with a thin strip of LED light. To the left of the headboard, an arched shelf is built in a run of white wardrobes in a contrasting finish. The doorway that lies inside the wardrobe is chosen by a sharp halo of LED light.

The liter unit is a custom piece that is designed to navigate around a structural support pillar. On the far side of the bed, the wall unit becomes a convenient bookshelf for night reading.

A marble panel adorns the wall behind the floating bedside unit, which matches a small marble bedside table at the opposite edge of the headboard.

At the foot of the bed, a floating desk lightly touches a dresser at one end. Illuminated bookshelves decorate the wall above the bedroom workspace, which can function twice as a toilet.

Decorative stone panels back up the bedroom workspace to create an attractive, high-end focal wall. A unique stool is placed under the desk, where it introduces a fashionable flute texture.

The playful orange accent chair next to the window is the Seung Jin Yang Blowing chair, constructed of party balloons and a hard resin lining. A unique linear wall lamp extends along the wall next to the chair to make a practical reading night.

The bathroom is a clean white space with a chic minimalist essence.

A turbulent unit next to the bathtub introduces a slice of hot apricot, while the marble bathroom vanity stands out with a busy black vein. The shelf unit contains a set of toilets easily accessible both from the tub and the shower.

Latite wall panels introduce texture between smooth equivalents, adding only a piece of visual interest that is duplicated in the bathroom mirror.

A black-framed shower screen separates the sink from the wet zone, which includes the independent bathtub next to the window.

Black shower fixtures and rainfall make a bold contrast against the soft white bathroom wall treatment.

Rustic Asian Home With A Traditional Essence

.

On a Rustic Asian Home at the foothills of Annamese Cordillera, central Vietnam, Hue people hold the role of family in high regard, placing family ties above everything else. These values led one family of adult children to commission a home design in which their elderly parents could enjoy retirement from leisure hobbies and gardening. Designed by an architectural firm Limdim House Studio, this 75 square meter home was designed to be easily habitable for the elderly couple, with a comfortable but minimalist aesthetic. Traditional, rustic elements have been used to achieve a quiet appeal that is reminiscent of childhood in the countryside. An open interior plan promotes natural light and ventilation.

Although Hue is one of the largest cities in Vietnam, the lifestyle is very peaceful. This quiet spirit is conveyed in a traditional home exterior where rustic stone walls attractively contain a welcoming courtyard. Local to the city of Hue, an ancient style of simple clay tiles, called “Liệt” tiles, gives the home exterior its traditional coronation. A modest window of glass wash window interrupts a warm, buff image.

Plant beds on either side of the gate entrance lay a green welcome into the front yard. Inside the gates, two outdoor chairs and a small coffee table sit on the sun-stained tile. Directly behind the outdoor seat, a large window draws a connection with the interior space.

Double doors give entrance into the home by a stepped concrete threshold. Small planters adorn one side of the wide front entrance, while a new head-shaped planter looks at the other.

Inside the home, a minimalist arrangement was planned as the most convenient, low-maintenance solution for the elderly couple. The sitting room features a custom built sofa design with storage subtly under its concrete base. A low chair and coffee table make up the rest of the small seat, where a glass vase provides a simple centerpiece.

The concrete sofa base also forms the foot of a modern staircase design, with black metal balustrades forming a striking pattern. On the 100m2 site, only 50m2 was used in the footprint of the home. The rest of the plot was left available for growing vegetables and flowers and enjoying a quiet lifestyle.

The home is used almost exclusively by the retired couple, so the compact living space is concise and functional for two. The kitchen island is a multi-purpose piece that is used to prepare food, cook on the kitchen counter and eat, which frees up floor space for other things and activities.

The interior of the house is lighted with a rustic indoor-outdoor appeal. A large stone feature wall climbs the double-height dwelling, creating a natural tonal beauty that invites the eye to wander to high altitudes.

A number of wooden bar stools line the front of the concrete kitchen island, while wooden cupboards build a panel of rich wood tone across the back of the open concept room. The door to the left of the kitchen leads to a guest room, while the other enters a powder room.

A wall full of lush windows in the double high void ventilates the home. A wooden ceiling fan helps air circulation.

The modern staircase design climbs to a narrow mezzanine landing, where access to the master bedroom is made by a wall of glass sliding doors.

A glass roof gives the shower room a bright and open outdoor shower feel. A rustic ladder board completes another attractive stone feature wall that wraps around the wet belt.

A guest room on the ground floor faces the entrance courtyard. A wooden desk is joined with a small wall mirror to form a flexible space that can be used for writing tasks or as a toilet. In addition to the traditional unit, a glass vase filled with flowers creates a homey touch.

Upstairs in the mezzanine bedroom, the stone-headed wall fits perfectly into the en-suite bathroom design, which is separated by a clear glass wall. The glazed wall lets natural light into the room and increases visual space. The daylight filters through a striking terracotta block bathroom wall that creates a pattern of arches.

The bedroom is minimal but serves the needs of the homeowners most appropriately

Back on the mezzanine landing, a traditional lounge chair is inserted into an unused corner to create a comfortable reading area.

Ground floor plan, showing the compact open plan living space with kitchen and dining rooms, plus two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The courtyard design behind the fence gate was designed to promote an intimate atmosphere that would evoke memories of childhood for the retired couple. Recovered simple clay tiles and blocks of baked bricks were assembled to draw parallels with traditional houses in the countryside, and to paint a quiet palette of earthy brown tones.

Mezzanine floor with landing and sliding glass wall access to the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

Section drawing, shows the rustic contrast of stone, wood, concrete, and nostalgic clay roof tiles. The bricks that were picked up from old houses served the new house with a traditional color palette. The material palette built notoriety that helped house the old homeowners in their new environment. This diagram also illustrates how the sun path affected the window sill, and how ventilation mapping created ultimate comfort within the home.

Japanese Home: Craftsmanship Meets Creative Quirks

Thank you. You have been subscribed.

.

The distinctive refined color palette and laconic shapes of traditional Japanese Home Style meet extraordinary design solutions in these three inspiring home concepts. The most seductive of our three interior examples, our first Japanese home design is large and luxurious. Many traditional elements of Japanese design come to the forefront here but above all with a creative modern twist. Our second concept is layered with contemporary craftsmanship and a reimagined classic to achieve an elegant combination of style, class and sophistication. Our final tour takes place inside a compact modern home where unique and strange pieces bring a fresh and fun atmosphere. Prominent silhouettes build a sculptural thread between elegant Shōji displays and fashionable motifs.

The large and luxurious living space of our first Japanese home interior has end-to-end glass across opposite aspects. The frontal openings create a pure stream of nature from the solar garden in the south to the shady narrow courtyard in the north. When the glass is removed, there is a happy flow of air for an outdoor experience under a cool cover.

Tea room design occupies the same space as the living room. The tea table rises shallowly from the wooden floor, in a Horigotatsu table fashion that allows legs to be extended in a niche below. The traditional concept gets a modern twist with sharp lines and an elegant style.

Genuine tatami mats line the bedroom and living room, which not only adds softness underfoot but serves to soften the acoustics of the large and high room.

The dining room doubles as a home library with built-in bookshelves along the entire wall.

Teppanyaki layout makes dynamic sociable setting.

An inner courtyard is surrounded by terraces on three sides, offering places of sunlight and shade.

There is another, smaller yard attached to the home workshop so that the homeowner can feel as if they are in the serenity of nature even while working.

Outdoor overhead lights cast a golden glow over the wood-clad home exterior and over wooden overhangs that surround the courtyards.

The master bedroom is a zen inspired design with a close and tangible connection to the courtyard. The bed design is a unique frame with attached shelves and a fixed home workspace behind the headboard. Large-format, black stone tiles extend along with the bedroom to an open plan ensuite.

Inside the en-suite bathroom, a beautiful wooden bathtub shines in the sunlight.

A matching wooden bench is lined up along with the tub, creating falconry for clothes and toilets.

A hot tub lies between rocks to achieve a natural look.

In this modern Japanese interior design, a padded modular sofa crosses a floor of traditional tatami mats.

The most striking part of the open plan living space is two boldly oversized dining hangers. Despite their sheer size, their white paper shades give them a light aesthetic that complements Shoji screen doors.

Linen table runners dress a simple wooden dining table.

A shallow fruit bowl makes an understated table top. See more ideas for modern fruit trees.

Our final interior design and CGI images are from a small Tokyo apartment inspired by Japanese aesthetics.

The background of Shoji screens is overshadowed by strange Etc. Lounge Chair by Jan Ekselius for Swedish brand Artilleriet.

An extraordinary faux fur sofa makes a fabulous statement on the opposite side of the lounge area.

The striking trio of lights above the coffee table is Formakami hangers by Jaime Hayón for & Tradition.

Behind the extraordinary sofa design, a cork wall makes a textured background.

Black stucco and black window frames create a dark contrast with the pale furniture.

A trendy runner-shaped dining table draws another dark element into the living room.

Two glossy black dining room hangers hang low over the black wood and concrete table.

A single kitchen follows a lighter palette with natural wood base units and fresh white tops. A rough gray concrete back and a matching counter cut the kitchen, highlighted by an LED ribbon.

The white minimalist bedroom acquires a character from a circular niche in the stucco over the bed.

Small, black bedroom hangers and two matching black metal liter units flank the bed with extreme black accents. A majestic, white-covered Bonsai tree sculpture tops a tall stack of adjacent vegetable material. Scattered cushions make for comfortable reading corners on each side of the room.

Shoji doors give the wardrobe a hint of ancient Japan.

The platform bed puts a light wood tone on the clear white bedroom rug.

Gray bedding coordinates with the polished concrete floor. Black trail lights echo the black window frames.

In the bathroom, a round mirror connects with the curves of a runner-shaped vanity unit. The vanity hanger matches the style of the bedrooms to achieve a cohesive aesthetic throughout.

Inside the shower, a unique backlight wall feature adds a mysterious, icy sheen to the dark and grumpy gray stucco. Perimeter LEDs add a wash of practical task lighting into the lath enclosure.

Floor plan.

Family-Compound-For-Two-Brothers-In-China

Family Compound For Two Brothers In China

Like Architecture and Interior Design? Follow us …

Thank you. You have been subscribed.

.

Flowing Garden House is a large, luxurious family compound, built for two fellow entrepreneurs in Zhangzhou City, China. Created by an architectural firm More than Arch Studio, the 1700-square-foot home stands apart from most modern houses in China. This home consists of three parts that include a private unit for each brother’s family and a common space for family reunions, fitness and more. The social spaces center around a peaceful courtyard design with a huge pond and majestic trees. The hope for this unique home design is that it will become a centerpiece for an extended family, and will be the home fire that forges memories for generations to come.

It’s a huge pond design that gives this home a sense of close family connection. The central pond courtyard ignites a covering feeling of serenity that flows into every branch of the house.

At night, the courtyard is a warm and welcoming space under soft outdoor lighting. Focused LED lights dance across the stone steps that lead down to the pond to create a beautiful, graded effect and promote safety in low light.

The concrete steps around the pond serve as a place to sit and contemplate at the water’s edge.

The modern steps go down into the water, building an abstract design beneath the clear surface.

LED strips follow the wider edge of the pond, achieving a bold, contemporary look.

Mature trees thrive around the perimeter of the yard, creating height, texture and natural beauty.

A traditional Chinese tea room opens wide to the soothing courtyard view. Tea drinking is elementary in Southern Fujian, as well as an integral part of hospitality.

With double doors pulled back, the tea room design is extended by a narrow terrace that leads to the water’s edge.

An indoor heated swimming pool is placed in the basement, with lounges and meeting rooms located next to it.

A sunken courtyard blesses the basement areas with natural light and a beautiful natural panorama.

The material palette through the domestic compound remains consistent in hot wood grain and board-shaped concrete. The palette is softened slightly in the two private housing volumes to create a comfortable atmosphere where coarse concrete walls are minimized by beige stucco.

In the larger, more open social spaces, cool, textured concrete rules with little additional decoration. Bamboo ceilings create a warm counterbalance.

Interior lighting is focused and atmospheric.

A huge skylight brings sunlight to the basement pool.

Fair-faced concrete and open walkways build a monumental aesthetic through the home composition.

The housing units that belong to each brother and their family are merged into one building but are completely separate inside. They are entered by two independent, staggered entrance halls of a ribbon courtyard to establish privacy.

The combined home is equipped with a grand dining room that gets the best views of the interior patio design. The grand dining room is furnished with two round dining tables that can seat up to ten people each, to accommodate a large number of family members and guests during the festivals. A smaller patio supports the dining room to create an open flow.

Fireplaces create a hearty glow, serving as an attraction for comfortable gatherings.

The scale of respective spaces are separated from each other to evoke contrasting moods.

The ribbon yard connects all areas, threading an outdoor tour.

From stone steps at the northeast entrance, under a shady overhang, and through a series of narrow and wider spatial arrangements, the courtyard path is a private trail of tranquility.

On the south side of the building, a lower corridor reaches the terrace where the whole view is fully developed.

For many years, the use of courtyards was common in local houses to improve environmental conditions and fulfill a natural division between private and community spaces.

Plants that bloom over time become grounded in family memories and in future generations.

Light wells touch every interior space with a hint of nature.

Port windows line up to allow the line of sight to move from one space to the next.

Guest rooms are arranged over the north side of the leisure area.

Room sizes are compact and comfortable, with serene garden views to the south.

Bedrooms get an outdoor connection with a small patio.

Both of the master bedrooms are located on the south front side of the second floor, which faces a wooded area that leads to the sea.

Except for some land in the south, where the sea is closely observable through the trees, there are no remarkable views to be had, as the height of the building is limited to only ten meters. This makes the courtyard and landscape roads all the more precious.

The 30-meter-wide dense forest zone serves as a windbreak and shield against typhoons. The 3-acre, rectangular housing plot has its shorter sides to the north and south. Neighboring buildings stand east and west.

The entrance is on the north side of the road, which winds into the social leisure space. The southern part of the home is the private residential area. The division of the two independent housing units fluently forms the ribbon courtyard.

Right next to the northernmost corridor, multi-purpose rooms within the two units can be used as a casual dining room, for arts, as a reading room or for games.

The basement is equipped with a living room, home cinema, comfortable, laundry and spare bedrooms.

Incredible Modern Lakeside Home In Canada

.

Located 30 feet above Lake Sakinaw in British Columbia, Canada, Vertes Retreat is a luxury vacation Lakeside Home, made for a family of four. Created by WOVEN Architecture and Design with landscape design by Houston Landscapes, this 380-square-foot home is developed in an L-shaped layout that easily fits into the rocky environment. The two wings of the home are topped with flat roofs that project over a surrounding terrace with outdoor seating. Inside the home, sharp monochrome decoration, cool concrete floors and warm wooden ceilings make up clean, spacious living quarters. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors bless the interior with an influx of natural light and stunning views.

Joint materials and flat transitions dissolve the barrier between the inner and outer living spaces to encourage life to flow in connection with nature. Covered outdoor accommodations mean the spectacular surroundings can be enjoyed under any weather.

An outdoor sofa and chairs surround a fire pit on the terrace, to expel the cool air. Small side tables are dotted around to keep drinks and snacks within reach of an arm. See more ideas for outdoor side tables.

The resort promotes rest and recreation, a total escape from the busy city noise.

The modern fireplace burns like a beacon to call the family together and share stories and good times. This is the fire where lasting holiday memories are forged.

Inside the luxurious holiday home, a clear decorative palette of gray concrete, fresh white cabinets and bold black elements build a spacious and airy atmosphere. Wooden ceilings cover the cool interior palette with a crown of tonal warmth that is echoed in smaller furniture and accessories around the home.

The comfortable living room is dominated by a prominent black steel fireplace wall, which frames and intensifies the brightness of an orange flame. A log cabin is built next to the modern fireplace for both convenience and aesthetics. A large area rug threads a subtle color into the living room scheme.

A huge, black-framed window with a phenomenal rock view looks just like a framed painting. A custom window seat has been installed along the window sill to benefit from the mesmerizing view.

A formal dining room is located between the living room and the kitchen in the Great Room, where stunning forest views extend as far as the eye can see.

A slim linear hanging light spans much of a central kitchen island without disturbing the simplicity of the minimalist white kitchen design. Modern kitchen stools line up on one side of the island to form a casual dining room where the family or their guests can chat with the appointed chef.

An outdoor kitchen and dining area expand opportunities for interaction with nature on the beautiful Sunny Coast. Above them, the skylight that begins inside the living room continues outside across the wooden overhang on the terrace to complete one continuous line.

The covered outdoor space effectively extends the living room, providing options for family settings and offering a possibility of some solitude.

The retained outer material palette consists of a cedar side and cedar soffits that build a warm and welcoming tone. The attractive timber also connects the house with the cedar forest around it.

A heavy wooden lath wall separates the home entrance from the stairs.

Wooden treads contrast lightly with the black powder-coated steel elements.

While the spacious one-story wing contains the Grand Room, the two-story wing is home to the entrance, media and garage, with the bedrooms located on the top floor. Long balconies leave room for homeowners to take in the morning view.

The topography slopes away from the foot of the house. Stretched landscaping softens the linear perimeter of the property.

The glass front entrance has views to the rear of the property, where picturesque rock formations are framed in floor-to-ceiling windows.

The terrain rises in impressive waves around the modern structure.

Glass walls open the home fully to a spectacular view of the glorious lake and its surrounding forest.

A larger log shop is located outside the property to continue through the long rainy winters of the Pacific Northwest.

Leaving home means walking straight into the desert, to the sound of birdsong and the breeze.

Roof windows cover the entire length of the driveways along both wings of the home to draw much-needed natural light during the duller months.

With wide openings on all sides of the building, the eye can look from one side of the forest to the next.

Exterior lights pierce the wooden overhang to provide a practical and atmospheric glow at night.

The L-shaped property fits ideally around the natural rock formation of the enviable lakeside location.

Website plan.

Ground floor plan, including the Great Room, grand entrance hall, media room and garage.

Upstairs floor, including the master bedroom and large bathroom, plus two additional double bedrooms with small in-bathrooms. This drawing also illustrates the roof window of the ground floor in its entirety, beginning above the Great Room and ending on the covered terrace.

Minimalist White Interiors With Unique Furniture Designs

Unique furniture designs add an elegant wow factor turn after turn in these two unusual minimalist White Interiors home designs. Displayed by the Indifference study, each attention-grabbing interior is styled on a simple, clean white base that allows the more prominent pieces to proudly sing out. The designer furniture takes on a sculptural appeal within the gallery environment, which encourages a sense of respect for the extraordinary creations. With the perimeter decor taking a back seat, the eye can fall on small details, unusual finishes and quality work. Come with us as we tour remarkable lounges, show-stopping dining rooms, minimalist bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms.

White walls, ceiling and floor make a reflective box in which natural light is maximized. Conforming white storage cabinets continue the clean, gallery-white theme along the entire length of a TV wall in the living room. Their sleek, slab-fronted finish quietly blends in with the minimal background.

A unique, triangular floor lamp sets a comfortable glow next to the living room sofa, while LED ribbons paint a soft perimeter light along the ceiling line.

The upholstery of the white, tufted sofa blends into the wall decoration, but an unusually warm red frame adds bars of bright contrast along its base. A small side table places a moment of luxurious white marble on the arm of the couch to hold drinks but not clutter.

A white, vertical radiator fits well along the side of the wide living room window, adding a textured accent.

A white marble coffee table is centered in the living room space, like a monolithic empty pedestal awaiting artwork.

Matching the sofa, a modern lounge chair is decorated with a red frame that vividly traverses the pale of the room.

In contrast to the warm red accents in the lounge area, the adjoining dining room is cooled by blue wall art.

The blue artwork is centered over a modern food set that has an all-white finish.

Smooth curves form inviting dining chairs and a modern dining table.

Marble slabs and fluted glass form a chic wandering wall between the dining room and hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom. An entrance bench is formed here to create a convenient seating / bag shelf at the front door.

A razor thin strip of light draws a halo around the portal to the corridor.

The halo creates an optical illusion because it looks like the edge of a mirror. However, the illusion is shattered by a modern wall light that threads from the corridor to the living space.

Inside the minimalist master bedroom, the clean white decor continues.

A modern liter unit puts a prominent ribbed texture against the sleek white headboard design. A deep storage drawer keeps the top of the unit completely free of clutter; only minimalist letter spacing is allowed.

A glass brick wall shares natural light from the bedroom window with the adjoining bathroom.

Inside the bathroom, a modern linear vanity unit pulls across the base of the glass brick section.

The second bedroom gets a subtle shade of gray upholstered bed and geometric rug design.

Beech wood liter units are assembled to keep the floor clear and spacious.

The living room of this home design is dominated by an extraordinary neon-green sofa that knots and twists through a simple white large rug.

On the opposite side of the large area rug, an elegant tan leather lounge chair offers a comfortable reading night.

A small side table rises subtly beside the sofa, while a large black coffee table commands the front.

Black and white photographic art adds interest to the clean white living room walls.

Behind the sofa, a number of ornaments dot the top of a white buffet.

The TV wall has a textured black finish that completes an elegant look Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A9 speaker. Unique black and white puffs boldly design the salon layout.

A decorative vase, candles and a disc jockey draw black decorative accents on the white scarf.

The white kitchen is mostly hidden behind floor to ceiling cabinet doors.

A white kitchen island stretches forward, holding the sink and the kitchen.

In front of the kitchen island, a white dining room pattern lives on with elements of a natural wood tone and a swirling black pattern.

The upholstered dining chairs perfectly match the design of the patterned puffs in the open concept room.

A simple glass vase and a branch of greenery provide a minimalist dining table.

As we look into the bathroom, we discover a unique stool in which a rustic wooden stool is enclosed in a clear perspex.

Modern artwork echoes the curvy silhouette of the carpet design.

A white liter unit contrasts sharply with the black tufted headboard design. A strip of LEDs highlights the edge of the black headboard against the white wall, elevating the high contrast aesthetic.

A bedside reading is kept on an elegant white buffet that offers a balanced combination of display shelves and hidden storage.

The bathtub is equipped with a small round bathroom rug and a convenient robe hook. Built-in storage units store fresh towels and extra toilets.

Mixing pure white decorative accents with White And Wood Decor elements creates soothing and serene home interiors that soothe the mind and soothe the soul. That being said, how do we combine this naturally complementary color scheme into an effective design that is intended to impress our guests? We got two inspiring home excursions that we think strike the right balance between calm and effective. Join us as we wander through chic white and wooden lounges, stunning dining rooms, elegant kitchen facilities and quiet bedrooms with an outstanding style. We’ll discover creative contrasts between fresh white furniture and wood-paneled main walls, rounded wood wall panels that create flow, and high-end home style ideas.

A checkerboard template makes a high contrast statement across the room from our first featured home design. A modular sofa lies fresh white upholstery on top, along with matching white ottomans and clear white coffee tables.

The large area rug holds the fragmentary furniture together as one cohesive living room arrangement.

Tartan throw puts a tonal contrast on the simple, lightweight upholstery to create further interest.

The base of the square coffee tables is designed to store books and extra throws that leave the surface clear for drinks and snacks, or more decorative items like candlesticks.

A wooden bench rounds out the seating arrangement and serves as a subtle visual stop between the main lounge and second seat. A modern fireplace forms a comfortable focus for the room.

The second seat uses a wide path that leads to the bedroom.

A pair of large hanging light sunglasses give the small seat an elevated status.

Sliding wooden slatted doors allow the bedroom to be joined with the mini-living area. The light-permeable door design also allows natural daylight from the living space to be shared with the windowless bedroom location.

Back in the main living room, the open-plan living room flows directly into the dining room and kitchen.

Slim dining room hangers visually anchor the open plan dining area in position. Light wooden dining chairs make a gentle contrast to a modern white dining table.

Repositionable track lights illuminate a long white kitchen island that is paired with contrasting black kitchen stools to form a casual breakfast bar.

Wooden wine racks install warm accents on the ice-white kitchen island. Bamboo window shades attract the wood accent to eye level.

Potted herbs grow along the kitchen sill, drawing a connection with the serene view of the green garden beyond.

Huge floor-to-ceiling windows open the garden view to the dining room.

Another wide walkway is lined with storage cupboards and modern bookshelves.

At one end of the wood storage, a high shoe storage unit installs a white contrast under the lighting of LED strips.

A huge glass vase contains a display of decorative branches that complement the wooden elements in the decorative scheme.

Wooden wall panels draw palpable ridges around the perimeter of this home interior, while curved counterparts smooth out exterior corners and edges. Round coffee tables carry the curved aesthetic to the center of the living room space, where they lie in the embrace of a cushioned tufted sofa arrangement.

The partition that forms the TV wall is beautifully dressed with rounded wooden wall panels that form a perfect runway.

The single section wall largely separates the living room from the kitchen, leaving only an open walkway on each side.

A dining island is positioned in the center of the U-shaped kitchen layout, with a linear hanging light installed along its length.

Clay pots complement the natural wood tone of the kitchen cabinets. Black and white desks build an elegant contrast.

The sleek induction battery is camouflaged with the glossy black countertop.

An air-conditioned dining room is located with the modern staircase design that builds a dramatic, spacious wooden background. A white modern chandelier descends from the double high ceiling to complete the special ensemble.

The formal dining room is a comfortable, wood-paneled room with soft lighting.

A paper hanging shade completes white dining chairs, while the wooden dining table matches the wooden sidewalls and a deep wooden window reveals.

Inside the comfortable, lightweight sectional sofa contrasts lightly with wooden slatted walls.

A floor lamp sets a small glow next to the couch.

The TV room carries a cooler palette of concrete gray. Floating wooden media is underlined by a ribbon of warm LED light to counteract the cool tone.

The wooden media shelf wraps around the corner of the room and into the window to form a simple window seat. A round coffee table pulls the wooden decoration into the heart of the TV lounge, where it offsets the cool gray upholstery of a small sofa.

The rattan and wooden lounge chairs are Pierre Jeanneret’s Kangaroo Chair.

A minimalist bedroom layout gets a luxurious appeal with atmospheric bedroom lighting.

A hidden LED strip runs behind the top of the headboard to highlight a limestone wall.

Liter storage units are integrated into the wooden trapdoor to achieve a streamlined look.

A black, arched floor lamp artistically coordinates with line art on the wall.

A wooden panel cleverly frames a small vanity. An arched vanity stool adds a fashionable style.

Fluted glass doors tend to the bathroom.

A unique bathroom sink comes out of gray granite walls. Wooden panels smoothly frame the minimalist aesthetic.

High-end finishes, Neoclassical Interiors, designer furniture, spectacular modern chandeliers, fine classic details and exquisite style make up this inspiring collection of luxurious neoclassical home interiors. Home tour number one begins in the bookstore lounge with elegant arched windows that extend from floor to ceiling. A chic marble TV wall and a linear modern fireplace create an elegant living room, while a strikingly decorative woodwork style sophisticated dining room. Our second home tour takes place in a spacious luxury apartment, where classic wall hangings are paired with trendy fluted wall panels and matching glass partitions. Black and gray decor form a dramatic mood within our final home design, along with bold rock walls that appear beneath atmospheric lighting fixtures.

This 103 square meter apartment has a luxurious neoclassical interior with a bookstore. A custom bookcase stops right in front of the deep cornice that crowns the elegant woodwork-decorated walls.

A wide arched window extends almost the entire width of the couch, bringing abundant natural light into the living room.

Modern circular chandeliers drop two halos of light into the center of the living room, over a luxurious rug and a unique coffee table design. A luxurious white marble TV wall builds a stunning pattern over a linear modern fireplace.

A small side table and a luxurious gray chair rise beside the living flame of the fireplace. They rest next to the custom bookcase to form a comfortable reading corner.

In the kitchen dining room, a large dining room chandelier swirls gracefully over a distinctive round dining table. Unique wall lamps add a sculptural element to a wall of attractive woodwork panels.

The round dining table has a convenient Lazy Susan turntable in its center. A few candles and a small decorative vase make up an understated table.

White marble envelops the kitchen peninsula in a waterfall finish. Fluted glass wall units delicately catch the light from the windows.

Two antique light railings line the closets with a welcoming glow.

Inside the master bedroom, a beautiful marble feature wall and decorative woodwork form the backdrop for a modern winged bed design. A chic glass wall lamp and a matching glass bedroom chandelier build the luxurious scheme with gold accents.

Slats exaggerate the height of the room.

A spectacularly luxurious bathroom design comes to life under an extraordinary modern chandelier that spans the width of the room.

Built-in closets take advantage of the compact dimensions of the room. Usually cut, a frameless mirror increases the feeling of space and light.

A unique pedestal sink has a rich wooden base and shiny bronze ornament.

The same materials are used throughout the interior to achieve perfect cohesion.

Our second inspiring neoclassical home is a spacious apartment with light gray wooded walls and a warm oak floor. A large rug lays a soft cream base for the living area.

An L-shaped sectional sofa pulls around the perimeter of the rug, where it forms a barrier between the living room and a neighboring dining room.

The open plan of a living room dining combo is decorated to blend peacefully with matching gray furniture upholstery and bronze accents. Fluted wall panels spread a trendy texture through the TV wall; illuminated display shelves build on the interesting focus.

Fluted glass doors form a wandering wall between the living room and the kitchen.

Inside the kitchen, a linear hanging light illuminates the kitchen island, while a second identical light illuminates a dining table extension.

The grooved glass partition subtly obscures the kitchen from a simple view of the living room.

Tan leather dining chairs add a warming element to the pale gray kitchen decor.

A modern wall light is effectively positioned inside a wood panel in the hallway, while two more side by side a piece of modern wall art.

The opposite side of the corridor is dressed in a mirror to visually widen the space.

A round mirror and console unit make up an elegant ensemble next to the front door.

Relief art seems to stand out from the gray walls.

Our final home design is a modern dark interior with powerful rock walls and eye-catching lighting fixtures.

A cushioned modular sofa forms the heart of the living room furniture arrangement.

The TV screen is almost camouflaged by its dark surroundings.

Modern chandelier throws bold beams against the black background.

The textile dining room feature wall is highlighted by LED strip lights.

A kitchen island separates the dining room from the culinary preparation.

In the master bedroom, an extraordinary focus is created where a rock face collides with a crumbling woodwork paneled wall.

A soft gray padded bed stretches out in front of the fabulous feature wall. Glass wardrobe design is atmospherically lit from the inside.

On the other side of the luxurious bedroom design, a modern chandelier leads the eye to a built-in bathroom.

The recessed bath area is raised on a solid rock slab. A single side table is available to hold toilets or a glass of wine.

Brazilian Home Design: Wood Accents & Colorful Art

Natural wood accents and colorful artwork animate these four Brazilian home designs in Vitória, each expertly illustrated by Felipi Falcão. Open plan accommodations give these modern homes a welcoming, social atmosphere, which is confirmed in large dining rooms that are furnished to accommodate many guests. Conforming furniture is tailored, designed to take full advantage of the generous room dimensions to its greatest purpose. Atmospheric mood lighting softens the light interior decorating patterns and accentuates the warm wood grain elements that add texture and depth. Large windows also light up the interior with natural sunlight, along with beautiful views of Brazil.

Modern wall art adds electric blue current through the living room of our first Brazilian home design. Green discus makes a single fun color conflict on the couch.

In front of the sofa, an Ottoman coffee table is joined with two wooden and glass equivalents to make a long arrangement in the center of the living room. The wood-paneled TV wall is actually a sturdy structural wall that has become a determining factor in deciding the home layout. While the wooden upholstery warms up the light decor of the living room, soft mood lighting evokes an atmospheric, comfortable atmosphere.

Downstairs at the far end of the spacious lounge, large windows create a bright and welcoming seat. Colorful wall art suits the sunny look and brings personality to the neutral decorative palette.

Two modern chairs with ottomans add solid apricot accents to the windows. A small side table and an elegant lamp transform the seat into a functional reading song.

A large rug runs under the living room, stopping at an open plan dining room.

Inside the dining room, another comfortable sofa offers more seating. The wooden dining table is large enough to seat up to eight people.

Chilled wine storage is placed in a corner inside the dining room, bringing drinks close to the table.

Behind the living room’s structural TV wall, a custom-made console table extends its entire length, adding a golden grain of wood to a narrow walkway that is full of natural light. A gallery of bright artwork adds a cheerful touch.

Brazilian modernism, contemporary Italian pieces and urban finishes style our second inspiring home design.

A wooden coffee table is equipped with a tanned Ottoman coffee table to make a toned pair.

The custom-made TV stand presses honey-toned natural lacquer into the modern living room. Wooden tin panels are highlighted under soothing LED brightness.

Punk orange accent chairs compete for attention against brightly colored wall art.

A transparent lounge chair offers considerable seating without blocking the view from the adjoining dining room.

Glass pendant lights are grouped along the length of the large, rectangular dining table that seats up to ten people.

Our third Brazilian home design in Vitória has a beautiful indoor vertical garden that gives a small informal dining room a refreshing appeal.

In the lounge area, a long media unit and an equally long wall shelf encompass the full TV wall. Coffee tables and ottoman are grouped together to accumulate length in the center of the room.

Colorful artwork catches the eye of a rotating console table and a unique, wall-mounted tower bookcase.

The kitchen is small but rich in natural light. A pair of kitchen bar stools set a warm wooden tone against a chic white marble kitchen island.

Modern wall lights gently illuminate the TV wall, and LED ribbons define the perimeter.

Behind the lounge sofa, a round rug is used to clearly fit a social seat. A temperature controlled wine storage unit turns this area into an open plan wine storage room. A swing arm wall lamp provides task light, while LED strips warmly highlight wooden wall shelves.

Modern art adorns the home entrance, over a cushioned bench and wall-mounted entrance table.

  • Designer: Mariah cardoso

Contemporary design meets established modernist design in our fourth Brazilian interior. Appearance art treatments and hand-picked furniture create an inviting aesthetic. Colorful coffee tables brighten up an elegant white marble coffee table.

A slender wooden bench functionally borders the living room area without cutting off the rest of the room.

Wood-paneled walls build a comfortable look.

A high floor lamp acts as a bright visual stop between the living room and the kitchen dining room.

A round pedestal dining table is beautifully complemented by an elegant dining room hanging light that rains golden threads on top. White marble kitchen back contrasts coolly with natural wood base units.

Green accents appear against the golden wooden perimeter in the form of modern art and attention-grabbing chairs.

A small collection of books brings color to the home entrance. A round mirror reflects brighter book spines on the opposite wall.

  • Designer: Ana Paula Dadalto

Finally, our fifth Brazilian home design boasts a large living space that is dotted with large structural pillars.

Blue artwork adds a peaceful nuance to the scheme.

A wooden TV mount completes the wooden herringbone floors.

Indoor plants add height and texture to the layout of the living room.

In the kitchen, a high glass front cabinet dominates the aesthetic, where a collection of clean white dishes crosses the wooden shelves. A wooden and white kitchen island design clearly complements the display case.

Minimalist Family Home: Flowing Lines

This fresh and bright Home Interior is the FRND House, where natural materials and colors connect with the outside environment. Designed by MCORP Architects, the 165-square-meter project was designed for a young family who wanted a minimalist and airy base that promotes comfort. Flowing lines have become the hinge concept for the project, which helps in easy flow for everyday family life. Large windows keep the family connected to their attractive garden and bring natural light to the open-plan living space throughout the day. The children’s rooms are enhanced with colorful accents, in shades of breezy sky blue and a warm shade of khaki.

Wood grain seal wall makes the minimalist living room space into a warm and inviting area. The round, cushioned modern sofa looks just too soft and comfortable to withstand.

The projection room has a retractable screen that goes down in front of a wall mounted TV. The wooden panel that supports the sofa area continues perfectly up and over the ceiling to join the media wall on the opposite side of the room, forming a comfortable cabin-like cocoon. Slim floating media underlines the wood paneling with a clean white finish.

The living room’s dining room combination benefits from large floor-to-ceiling windows that bring abundant amounts of natural light and an attractive view of the lush green garden lawn.

Many indoor plants bring nature inside, which are beautifully complemented by the expanses of natural wood grain.

Rounded wood-effect cabinets smoothly line the kitchen installation. Their tone matches the surrounding panel in the living room to achieve a cohesive aesthetic.

Monster and ferns create both height and length along the ceiling-mounted shelf.

Modern wooden dining chairs have gray seat cushions to tie in with the raw concrete kitchen back nearby.

Outside the entrance, a full-length mirror breaks a wall of soft wood grain.

An off-green entrance bench is parked next to the mirror to form a convenient wardrobe. A small floating shelf offers a place to drop off keys and cell phones.

Light from the bedroom windows is shared with the hallway through a frosted glass door and partition.

Inside the bedroom, a wood-paneled headboard wall makes a warming focus in primarily white decor. Two black bedroom pendant lights contrast sharply against the natural background.

At the foot of the bed, a double workshop is well lit with a multi-directional light.

Inside the main bathroom, we discover another plant decorated with light over a modern vanity unit.

A unique bathroom sink is joined by a modern wall-mounted faucet. A frameless mirror crosses the wall of the vanity area, which is atmospherically illuminated around its edge by strips of soft LED light.

The superb shower screen is frameless along its outer edge to produce a minimalist finish.

At the opposite end of the equipped bathtub, a tower of convenient necessities shelf is inserted into the stucco. LED shelf lights make a ladder of attractive and functional lighting.

In the first of two children’s rooms, a sky-blue decoration reaches a windy, cheerful appearance. The blue wall color is applied in a shadow effect that fades to white behind the child’s bed.

Bela sloth toy nests on the raised sides of the upholstered cot, which sits on an upholstered window seat.

On the adjoining wall, a children’s bench and open play shelves are finished in a perfectly coordinated sky-blue finish. Large and thick door handles add fun embellishments.

A small white pendant light hangs over a contrasting black nightstand.

The final wall is dedicated to a child’s study area. Decorative wall shelves keep books on the child’s desk.

The second child’s room is accented by warm hints of khaki orange. A patterned mural forms a striking focal wall behind the headboard.

Curved wooden wall panels wrap around the sides of a comfortable window seat.

A bright orange side table is placed between the bed and the window seat to serve both areas.

We see a repetition of the decorative murals also in the study of this child, but this time with an orange twist. The legs of the child’s desk are given a matching orange finish to shrink the elements of the small workspace.

The family bathroom has a simple, raw concrete decoration that is covered with a smooth white pictured crown. Natural light floods into the narrow space through casement windows and perimeter LEDs add to the brightness. A minimalist shower enclosure closes a large shower area next to the wall-hung toilet. Wall-mounted toilet accessories keep the flooring looking clear and spacious.

A wood-effect vanity unit appears to protrude from an adjacent wooden paneled statement wall. A vase of greenery makes a fresh addition next to the modern vase basin and matte white bathroom.

A Book Lover’s Mid-Century Modern Home

.

Mid-century modern elements add style to the home of this comfortable book lover, layering a contrasting color over a rich wooden tone. Designed by NDB Design’s Ni Dongbo, a lack of architectural features has been overcome by creative interior treatments of sculpture, wall art and literary treasure. Mid-century modern accent pieces are combined with contemporary components to create an interesting, eclectic style that keeps the eye moving and the mind wandering. Crisp white walls provide a fresh backdrop for the bright, prominent furniture and make a quiet frame for two well-stocked home library walls. The unique home is covered in natural greenery that just combines the interior with abundant outdoor views.

A compactly designed red living room rug immediately puts a warm and welcoming eclectic tone into the walls of modern white space. A sleek sofa design speaks to a mid-century aesthetic with its simple square cushion and saturated color.

The red living room rug and bright sofa make a vibrant contrast with a multitude of abundant green indoor plants. Next to the fireplace, an elegant swivel chair completes the plant life and the mid-century atmosphere with an earthy olive hue.

A glass coffee table reflects natural light from the window.

A comfortable reading chair and matching footstool are pulled up by a custom wooden bookshelf. A small side table is set aside to hold a supply of tea or coffee close at hand.

Glass doors protectively contain a Buddha statue at the heart of the bookshelf. The serene statue instills a message of enlightenment and peace into the home library.

A wooden stool rounds out the library/lounge furniture layout, functioning both as a seat and as an extra side table.

Wood flooring creates a warm finish throughout the living room and home library area, then shifts to a more durable surface under the kitchen and dining room.

In the center of the open plan residential area, a natural wooden envelope transforms a basic concrete support into a beautiful pillar.

A second home library/lounge area is located at the opposite end of the room.

Colorful art brings mid-century modern vibes to the library wall.

A simple floor lamp provides light reading next to the elegant sofa. The little lamp also casts a soft light through the pile of thorns that fill a custom-made bookcase. Hidden storage units are tucked into the wooden frame of the usual bookshelf, and deep drawers line its base.

Hardback volumes are stacked randomly on the floor of the home library, creating a welcoming, inhabited look.

Wooden volumes are stacked to form a random side table next to the wooden sofa.

A decorative bowl and sculptural artwork adorn the modular side table.

Across the room, a round glass dining table is surrounded by a wonderfully eclectic set of wooden dining chairs that span the ages.

A wide skylight rains natural light down on the dining room. Colorful artwork is kept in a bright gallery above a staircase that leads up into the living room. Sculptural artwork adorns the glass dining table and plinth placed near the floor to ceiling window.

After dark, a fabulous dining room hanging light illuminates the dining room. This striking, sculptural piece is the Taraxacum Penda Lumo designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for FLOS.

The rich wooden tone that is displayed in the collection of various dining chairs shifts to the neighboring kitchen design. The L-shaped installation of flat-fronted cabinets communicates a mid-century modern influenced style.

A modern kitchen island divides the kitchen dining room into two distinct halves, just behind the wooden chairs. A Chashitsu tea room, of a kind, is formed by the window of the kitchen where the floor was deliberately raised. Tatamis fill the floor around a stone ceremonial tea table.

Instead of a neat Tokonoma alcove for the Chashitsu tea room, where flowers and a special scroll would traditionally be displayed, this home has books in a proud place, of course.

One end of the kitchen island counter is cantilevered to form a cozy breakfast bar. The olive green hue of the central island breaks beautifully against the honey-colored wooden grain background.

Rustic wooden bowls pop up against a dull black kitchen back and a matching black counter.

On top of a modern black oven shine copper pans. The fan is hidden in the bottom of the wall units to achieve a completely streamlined result.

The large open plan residential location is located on the second floor of the home. Beneath it, the entrance and modern staircase design are full of bright natural light. As if presenting the theme of this book lover’s apartment, an embedded bookcase is carved into the white stucco wall of the lobby. A high stepped back chair and a unique side table make up a sculpted furniture arrangement for reading under the stairs.

At the foot of the modern staircase, the interesting geometric folding lamp design is an Akari UF4-L8 floor lamp by Isamu Noguchi.

Not only are brown and blue decor complements on the color wheel (brown being a dark shade of orange that is the opposite of blue on the wheel) but the color comb is found abundantly in nature. Consider the coast and the sea, and where the mountains meet the sky. This is a soul-soothing color combination that bears a great stamp of approval from Mother Nature herself. Here, we’ll explore two brown and blue home interiors that show us how to aesthetically balance the contrasting shades, with plenty of visual rest space in between. We will look at small and upscale apartments, elegant bedrooms and unique bathrooms.

This 115 square meter apartment is located in Budapest. The apartment has been renovated into a new configuration of 3 bedrooms and a smaller kitchen, rather than 2 bedrooms and a larger kitchen, to maximize rental income. The mixed lounge dining combo achieves visual harmony with a common color palette of warm tan and windy blue accents.

A modern tufted sofa draws an L-shape around the perimeter of the living room area, creating a close and comfortable layout with the TV wall. A modern coffee table keeps the core of the living room layout light and clear with a white tile finish. A teak and rotating Kangaroo Chair, designed by Pierre Jeanneret, rounds the opposite side of the arrangement.

The sculptural centerpiece is the trendy one Connect a candle, designed by Colin King Studio for Menu. A solid blue dining room pendant light lowers a coupon off the table to make a colorful effect.

The large hallway of the home is divided from the kitchen by a prominent glass door, framed by elegant blue arches. Sputnik chandelier is centered in the doorway, where it illuminates a compact kitchen island. A warm brown pattern ripples through the tiles.

As there is not much daylight, a small side room was next to the kitchen to share natural light from its window as well. This small room used to be a WC, but now serves wonderfully as a butler pantry with a mini “art gallery”. Wall art, decorative ceramics, textures, colors and the oversized lighting installation add a fabulous character that enlivens the space.

Blue accessories elevate and enliven the rich brown wooden kitchen. As we look past the well-shaped wooden kitchen island, our eye falls on a bronze-tinted mirror wall that adds extra depth to the compact kitchen space.

A blue bedroom chandelier dominates the master suite. Its blue “leaves” are complemented by the giant leaves of an indoor plant.

Gray modern wall lights blend quietly into a light gray-painted headboard wall, allowing the bolder blue and green decorative accents to take center stage.

Sapphire blue side tables coordinate with the striking bedroom hanger, while green bedding matches the indoor plant life.

In the bedroom, a unique bathroom sink continues the blue color theme, which contrasts sharply with a brown microcement bathroom floor.

The second double bedroom has a modern 4-poster bed, enhanced by a blue whimsical wallpaper arched gate. See more ideas for 4 poster beds.

A unique bedside table side by side with contrasting brown and blue finishes. Slim black wall lights complete the black metal 4-poster bed frame.

A large round mirror leads the eye to a home office next to the bedroom window. The comfortable workshop is furnished with a vintage wooden chair, gently lit by an atmospheric desk lamp, and blessed with a view over old Budapest.

This in-room bedroom receives a blue floor treatment that floods into a walk-in shower design.

In the third bedroom, another dynamic wallpaper design accentuates 4-poster placement. A copper-colored bedroom rug looks out from under the end of a bed bench to complete an intricate copper bathtub.

Behind the show-stopping bathtub, a luxurious marble vanity cuts across a small alcove.

A huge arched gate shares the bedroom of his room, with a doorman providing privacy when desired.

In the powder room, a rotating and marble tip vanity unit hits the best material trends of the year.

Our second study revolves around a soothing decorative palette of sky blue and bright walnut milk. A large sectional sofa presses a pause from the color combo, to extend a light gray L-shape through the center of the open plan living space.

A silver carpet gently shades the floor.

The walnut media unit covers a black plinth on one side of the room, where a pair of electric guitars show the homeowner’s love for music.

Smart panel molding designs around the TV, selected in soothing blue paint.

Matching blue panel molded walls contain the rest of the room, stopping only for a bank of clean white storage units.

Plush gray drapes frame the large living room windows.

An amazing, carved sofa table fits between two unusual linear floor lamps.

As we move to the kitchen, we come to a food peninsula. Two statements of dining room hangers drop translucent bronze accents over the dining table to complement the walnut wall panels that surround the peninsula wall.

In the hallway, a large mirror dramatically increases the feeling of space.

An entrance bench is covered in a wall of corridor storage facilities.

At the heart of the living room storage wall, an aquarium is full of colorful fish.

Luxurious brown and blue bedroom decor is lifted by large mirrors above each liter. A silver-gray bedroom rug is paired with a gray and blue bed.

An LED ribbon highlights a rich walnut trapdoor feature wall.

The bedroom TV is tucked into a walnut-covered alcove.

A small gray puff serves as a bedroom chair.

White closets fuse quietly into the surrounding white walls.

In the children’s room, green decorative accents take over blue in honor of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles… Although, Leonardo wears a blue bandana!

The deeply cushioned crib looks irresistibly comfortable, but first, homework needs to be finished at a children’s workplace.

Superhero decoration is lit on a built-in shelf unit.

Parisian Chic Home Interiors, In the chic apartments of Paris, style is elegant but comfortable. This applies to clothing fashion and home interiors alike. Just as we are inspired by the Parisian sparrow to fill our closets, inspiration from fabulous French home interiors is also spreading around the world. Europe has been watching Paris since the reign of Louis XIV, when luxury goods came under royal control. Today, it is not the French royal court that is in a position as the arbiter of taste and style but the illustrators of these three complex domestic concepts. Come with us as we tour luxurious Parisian chic lounges, beautiful dining rooms, delicious kitchens and trendy bedrooms – Oh là là!

We enter our first Parisian home in the living room, where generous windows bring edifying natural sunlight. Above the living room, a modern chandelier hangs from a classic ceiling rose; its opaque white finish gently blends in with the warm white stucco.

A curved sofa design gracefully traverses the perimeter of the room, embracing the edge of a chic, circular stone coffee table. Next wall between the living room and the kitchen contains two arched shelving units, built inside to add an elegant architectural interest. A built-in planter makes an attractive bed for indoor plants.

On the other side of the round coffee table, a round armchair brings an earthy brown hue into the mix.

The floor level is raised below the dining room, which grandly defines the space. The construction of twin arches is repeated on this side of the dividing wall to serve the dining room with a decorative touch. A rectangular dining table sharply contradicts the architectural curves.

The dining room is openly connected to an L-shaped kitchen, which has an understated, tasteful aesthetic in natural wood and clean white cabinets.

Beige upholstered bed interrupts the predominantly white bedroom decor. An interesting ripple in the headboard wall is chosen in the same shade, with an elegant bedroom hanging light layered in front.

Bespoke wardrobes keep the bedroom layout simple and streamlined.

A round rug surrounds the bed and ends under modern media. A half-height TV wall divides the sleeping space of a wardrobe.

Black shelf inserts provide a dark score through the fresh white scheme.

A soft gray feature wall attractively defines the embedded vantage area. A round wall mirror brings a reflection of light into the corner.

The children’s bedroom is the material of children’s dreams. A children’s gym is ready to burn off some energy and a beautiful mural leads the way to a comfortable play loft above the bed. See more inspiration for cribs.

Green accents colorfully mark children’s bookshelves and a reading corner by the window. The striking child seat is Serie Up 2000.

More valuable book storage is hidden under the stairs leading to the playpen.

A children’s desk enters under the bedroom window, creating a quiet place for homework.

The next Paris chic home has a lounge layout that is built with curves. A curved sofa sits on a round rug, where three curved nesting boards meet. An arched floor lamp rounds out one side of the arrangement, while a modern magazine rack drops inverted arches on the other.

A sculptural curving chair leans under a striking wall art.

Within the same large living space, a second living area is formed with a more linear aesthetic, including a rectangular rug and a contemporary linear sofa. The slim, minimalist lamp is a Sampei floor lampdesigned by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese.

A high partition wall separates a third living area from the previous two. An interesting mobile phone and a unique small side table infuse the space with an artistic influence.

The dividing wall makes a central mount for the TV. Elegant display shelves side by side.

Linear art provides a focus over a modern console table.

Indoor plants and an intriguing table lamp adorn a second elegant console table.

The dining room is located in the center of the large living area, perfectly placed as a congregational place for guests. A trio of dining room hangers drop striking black wire-framed discs along the large dining table, which seats 8 to 10 people.

The kitchen is a wide U-shaped facility with an island in its center.

Subtle white marble counters complete the wooden kitchen island, while a busier vein surpasses the gray base units that surround it. See more ideas for marble kitchens.

Three wooden bar stools merge with the natural wooden kitchen island. Top cabinets and an open kitchen shelf match in honey-colored grain.

The master bedroom is avant-garde in design, with blue accents and a multitude of arches. A blue bedroom rug spreads the accent color over a heritage parquet.

The end of a bed bench has an unusual cushion design that complements the narrow arches that form the unique headboard.

A designer bedroom chair draws attention with a fabulous, roll-shaped profile.

A gilded mirror royally crowns a traditional fireplace.

In the kitchen, black units make a stern statement.

The bedroom is light and romantic decorated under a beautiful mother of pearl hanging shade.

Black wall lights draw an interesting black line through the soft white carved plank wall.

A high pocket door gives entry into a closet.

At the foot of the bed, a golden vanity mirror brightly accesses a black nightgown.

City views sweep around a spectacular children’s play area.

Relaxed Curves Wrapped In Mellow Monochrome Decor

Relaxed curves and light, soft monochrome decor make a smooth minimalist statement through these two quiet modern home interiors. The laconic color palette presents clear spaces for a clear mind where one can indulge in deep thought and meditation, or enjoy deep conversation without the distraction of abundant color and tense linearity. Huge windows fill these elegant home interiors with blissful sunlight that falls softly on curved furniture silhouettes, huge round living room rugs, subtle decorative vases and architectural arches. Creamy, minimalist living spaces and bedrooms form a cohesive calm everywhere, gently lit by perimeter LEDs. Uber’s sleek modern fireplaces provide a welcoming, comfortable flare.

Our first soothing home interior has a double-height living room with huge windows that bring vast views of the city and abundant natural light. Creamy decoration reflects the daylight deep into the generously sized lounge. A modern fireplace flickers brightly inside its sophisticated understated fireplace.

A round rug surrounds the spacious lounge layout, holding a soft channel tufted canopy and two chairs in a comfortable layout around a modern coffee table.

The deeply cushioned, tufted sofa design has a curved silhouette that gently coordinates with the mismatched, comfortable chairs.

The projector-friendly living room has a drop-down screen that recedes into the stucco wall. Due to the monochromatic decoration, a mezzanine landing goes almost unnoticed behind a clear glass balustrade.

An architectural arch gate has built-in shelves to show a subtle, color-matching arrangement of decorative objects.

An elegant, flute vase adorns the coffee table.

Rattan units and wooden wall shelves attractively line the hallway of the home with natural tones that are gently lit under LED light strips.

The lounge area has an open connection with a large dining room.

In the minimalist dining room, the arched niche configuration is repeated on the opposite side of the retaining wall. The adjoining kitchen is accessible through a pocket door with a fluted end.

A decorative vase elegantly accessorizes the other end of the long dining table.

Dull botanicals bring a hint of the outer side while staying true to the inner color scheme.

At the back of the hall, a spiral staircase winds up to the mezzanine landing.

The spiral staircase is lit in its steps by thin LED strips.

LED strips bend inside the grid cavity.

Upstairs, the large bedroom has a split floor that separates the sleeping area from a home workshop.

The home workshop is custom furnished with L-shaped desk installation, storage and wall shelves.

LEDs illuminate the perimeter of the room, and highlight the change in floor height around the bed.

Decorative vases add an attractive touch to the practical work area.

A wooden side table holds reading material close to hand on one side of the bed. On the opposite side, a commode can be used either as a home office storage or as an adjacent unit.

The window is curved at its corner to avoid swaying corners inside the bedroom. A decorative wall mirror joins a silver pool against the cream-stucco wall.

The arched architectural niche complements a curved sofa design, a round living room rug and a gently arched ceiling line.

A paper floor lamp gently shines alongside a unique and striking fireplace design.

The pure white chimney is created to appear bare as curtains, to reveal the modern fireplace inside.

At the opposite end of the chimney, the white stucco volume is carved away to make a shelf for logs.

A round skylight satisfactorily fits into a curved wall at the entrance. This central curved entrance connects the living room with the kitchen and dining rooms.

The milky monochrome color scheme flows continuously from the living room, to the entrance, to the kitchen dining room. Clean, unobtrusive, white kitchen units quietly line the back of the kitchen behind a curvy kitchen island.

The white couch-shaped kitchen island holds the kitchen and sink, and neatly separates the kitchen from the dining room. The curved dining table has a built-in planter at one end, bringing a sudden spark of natural greenery to the white room.

Within the first bedroom design, an upholstered bed is lined with textured carpet. Mismatched bedside tables prevent the laconic decorative pattern from appearing stagnant. A covered balcony extends the space and makes home for another burst of natural greenery.

The master bedroom is a wide space with a legon arranged next to the window. The floor lamp and bedroom chair are raised on a slightly raised floor section, which creates a clear differentiation between functions. The ceiling above the sleeping area is curved at its corners to form soothing lines.

An open doorway gives entry into a closet.

The wardrobe is a treasure trove of curved walls and atmospheric lighting. Floating wall shelves feature designer bags and shoes under soft lighting that forms an exclusive shopping atmosphere.

Smooth decorative elements made of Stone And Wood Decor are made to exude a luxurious look in these two inspiring home designs. To allow these soothing natural materials to come to the forefront, the home designs follow a light and laconic color palette of clear white and warm creamy shades. A wild spice of black and charcoal gray accents will pepper the rooms with small moments of visual weight. Luxurious lounges receive refined and airy arrangements with designer lounge furniture, eye-catching TV walls and high-end dining options. Kitchens are avant-garde, bedrooms are restful refuges of peace and quiet, and bathrooms evoke a spa-like feel.

Wooden panels are spliced with smooth marble slabs to create a fabulous feature wall in the living room of our first luxurious home design. LED light strips are installed along the vertical edge of the slabs to add definition and depth to the striking focus.

In the center of the living room, a white marble coffee table pulls the luxurious stone decoration to the floor. A modern fruit bowl adds a dark visual anchor on the light stone.

Kurbace Pacha chairs, designed by Pierre Paulin for Gubi, softly contrast the hard silhouette of the stone coffee table and the linear modern sofa.

Opposite the contemporary sofa, a stunning white marble TV wall and lath panels make up a textual statement. A stone effect media and atmospheric lighting installation complete the luxurious ensemble.

A second air lounge arrangement is furnished with another luxurious seating. A rectangular coffee table splits into the elegant outline of a canal-tufted sofa design that embraces the living room in a welcoming L-shaped layout.

The marble TV wall in this living room is cut through matching stone display shelves. Latite wood panels build a rich color and deep texture down to the ceiling line.

Elegant white decorative vases and ceramic bowls dot the display shelves and adorn the coffee table.

White stone planters contain indoor plants that bring a friendly burst of greenery to the cool color palette. Linear art provides a simple but beautiful interest to the simple white living room walls.

Three modern dining room lights drop a triple of dark accents into the bright dining room. All-white drapes filter the abundant influx of natural daylight flowing through huge ground-floor windows. The view of the garden expands vaguely behind the veils.

The dining room is arranged in an open plan with the kitchen. A kitchen island serves as a second, more casual dining area.

Inside the home library, custom bookshelves are stacked from floor to ceiling and edge to edge. LED strips illuminate the tomes to aid selection and to provide a cosmetically pleasing function. In front of the bookcases, a modular sofa and a small side table furnish a comfortable reading area.

Two chairs and a side table make up a second seat in the library window.

Elegant wall panels and a low upholstered bed give the bedroom a quiet Japanese-style aesthetic.

A floating vanity table neatly fills a narrow bedroom alcove.

The cozy atmosphere around the home is set by opportune moments of golden light.

As we move into the luxurious bathroom, we find the bathtub raised on a wooden platform in front of the window. Indoor plants grow a fresh medicinal-like feeling.

Black-framed screens form a modern shower area.

In Ternopil, Ukraine, our second home design has a rough stone feature wall around the fireplace.

A round coffee table and round sofa design offset the sharp edges of the stone fireplace chest.

Stone sculpture makes fascinating artwork.

Next to the fireplace, designer lounge chair and a Sampei a floor lamp, designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese, makes for a comfortable read.

A black kitchen faucet interrupts its clean white stone surroundings.

A small courtyard moment was formed inside the stairs. The lush greenery seems lively against the clear white stone staircase.

Moving up into the master bedroom, a white rock bulletin board wall dominates the space. A small wooden bedside table sits on either side of a dark charcoal padded bed.

An indoor tree makes a dreamy addition to the bedroom legroom, where a modern white chair and contemporary floor lamp are grouped together with a striking round coffee table.

A floating vanity table is furnished on the opposite side of the bedroom, next to a free-standing bookshelf.

The bathroom is a large space with a built-in toilet.

A modern vanity chair completes the dressing room, which is smoothly integrated into a double washroom.

A shapeless stone bathtub is set up at the garden view. Indoor plants bring a touch of nature into the bathroom.

Satin stainless steel fixtures modernly accessorize the timeless sanitary ware.

A wall-mounted toilet and bidet make the bathroom clear, which preserves the feeling of open space in the room and facilitates cleaning.

Natural wood and indoor plants instill a sense of serenity into modern living spaces. This inspiring union of Mother Nature helps us to separate ourselves a little from the plastic contemporary world and to revitalize our connection with the Earth. Even if only in small doses, green and wood tone infusions add softness to modern decorating patterns, as well as an interesting texture and vibrant reminiscence of life thriving outside man-made walls. Join us as we tour three inspiring modern home interiors that beautifully embody plants and lumber into elegant living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and perhaps the most beautiful laundry room in the world!

Located in Tbilisi, the ancient capital of Georgia, this modern apartment interior is colored in blue, yellow, wood tones and vivid green accents. A textured living room rug lies a comfortable base under a rectangular coffee table with storage.

The living room is open to the home entrance to allow daylight to pass through.

Lattice wooden panels on the TV wall draw the eye vertically to meet a large modern chandelier. Mature indoor plants perfectly complement the rich timber wall.

Wide wooden floors are placed diagonally across the living room and hallway to increase the feel of space.

The L-shaped sofa layout subtly separates the living room from the dining room. A wall of bookshelves makes a lively backdrop for the dining room.

A rotating unit proudly displays a record player, a vinyl collection and a poster by John Lennon in the home of this music lover.

The striking light feature that extends the entire length of the dining room is the Palm hanging light designed by Antoni Arola for Vibia.

More books and indoor plants are lining the way into a glass wall design. LED ribbons underline the floating bookshelves and wooden lath wall panels. A stone fireplace attractively trims the base of the feature wall.

Soothing duck egg cabinets are combined with warm wood-toned equivalents. A central kitchen island includes a breakfast bar around two of its edges. Huge windows bring tranquil tree-lined views.

Black and white tiles add a stark contrast and pattern to the modern kitchen decor.

Curio cabinets flank a kitchen TV wall that is clad in duck-painted lath wall panels.

Ceiling shelves hold glassware and teapots over the kitchen island and a breakfast bar.

Louvre doors generously enclose a size-sized entrance closet.

Our second natural wood and plant inhabited interior space is accentuated by soothing beige and rich cognac elements.

Unique ceiling fans cool the open plan living area, where the sofa faces directly to the dining room and kitchen.

A round rug further defines the sitting room with a subtle beige fabric.

The dining table joins the edge of a short kitchen peninsula to create a simplified solution.

Monochrome tiles add a bold black and white pattern under the kitchen dining room that cheerfully differentiates it from the rest of the gray concrete living room.

A wooden lath section draws attention to a built-in bench seat in the home entrance, where wall hooks hold bags from the floor and keep coats tidy.

A small, romantic courtyard area is furnished with a set of bamboo and French wheelchairs. This Nordic meets traditional Moroccan design is the Nomado lounge chair, by NORR11.

Our final modern home design contains perhaps one of the most beautiful washrooms in the world … But don’t skip it yet, as the living room has its own set of inspiring features, such as this deliciously curved sofa and elegant light-penetrating. a room divider that intersects the stairs.

A large rug carries a circular motif that completes the round silhouette of the sofa.

Custom shelf units line the cool white TV wall with rich wood grain.

A wonderful courtyard peacefully separates the TV room from the kitchen dining room.

The edges of the picturesque courtyard are raised like a courtyard, making a platform for a quiet reading room on one side, and for kitchen bar stools on the other.

A beautiful tree climbs through the double high void.

Bright white cabinets keep the kitchen layout feeling open and spacious at head-height, while base cabinets add visual weight in dark wood grain.

The kitchen layout comfortably encompasses the dining room in its center.

Attractively lit wine cellars complete the final wall of the kitchen layout.

With the courtyard tree soaring up close, the indoor dining room has a refreshing appeal.

Above, black metal shutters form a checkerboard pattern across the courtyard skylight.

Black metal railings curve around the landing area and along the light-filled staircase.

An airy upstairs lounge is decorated in a loose beige palette. Natural jute round carpet pools under a round black coffee table.

A small, potted tree stretches the greenery of the courtyard.

Black steel frames sharply line a glass wall and a door that leads to an upstairs courtyard.

The upstairs “yard” is actually a wonderful laundry room, complete with a stacked washing machine and dryer comb, washbasins, and well-organized utility storage.

A swinging chair swings over a grassy lawn and stepping stones, overlooking a beautiful vertical garden. The quiet sounds of a water feature stifle the drone of the washing machine. With a fabulous space like this, we would never complain about washing again!

Interior Inspiration: 5 Beautiful Boho Variations

Like Architecture and Interior Design? Follow us …

Thank you. You have been subscribed.

.

Boho Variations interiors all have in common, but there are many different ways in which to individually perfect the aesthetics. This inspiring collection of beautiful boho interiors shows five divergent captures of the atmosphere. Our first boho variety is a rich umbra cocoon with thick textures, tribal influences and decorative features that are inspired by the bow trend. Home design number two is a refined modern space with green botanical accents. Rustic romance forms a boho interior number three, with a particularly dreamy bedroom. Mid-century influences lightly taste home number four, and our final stop is an impressive, high-ceilinged apartment with decidedly luxurious bohemian décor, upscale furniture and a stunning fireplace.

Umbrella accent walls add rich warmth to this comfy boho cocoon. Thick decorative elements build on the visual warmth and depth of color, forming a welcoming space to dive in and spend time.

The straight edges of a square coffee table are offset by a round rug placed under it. The combination sets a textured pillar of raw wood grain and natural jute in the heart of the living room.

A rustic wall clock echoes the roundness of the carpet and the grainy texture of the coffee table. A huge macrame wall hangs fabulously draped over the sofa.

As we move through this studio apartment, we pass a bedroom rug with beautiful tribal fabric.

While shady paint defines the living room area of the studio, a white stucco arch with decorative relief makes for a stunning bedroom.

Wispy woven hanging light shades make a light addition to the center of a rustic wooden ceiling treatment with exposed beams.

Both the bed and the sofa are located to take advantage of a view of the TV, which is located against a central pillar between two large windows. Boho wall decoration makes an intricate focus.

Elegant arched gates cut through another Umbrian statement wall at the opposite end of the studio apartment. Decorative vases and sculptural art find a neat home within the carvings.

A beautiful Groot planter makes a playful decoration to the wooden coffee table.

A pair of booth hangers hang over a rotating liter unit, complementing it with tone and texture.

White stucco builds a textured finish behind interesting wall hangings and around rustic wooden doors.

White stucco continues inside the bathroom design, where a richly toned wooden vanity shelf holds a spectacular stone basin. A huge round bathroom mirror overlaps a half-stone stone back, which is atmospherically illuminated along its upper edge by a strip of golden LED light.

Rustic side tables and a jute rug complete the natural tone of the living edge vanity unit.

In this boho interior, an open plan living space benefits from a wide view of the garden, thanks to one whole wall of sliding glass doors. Black picture frames, a black three-legged floor lamp, and two kitchen hangers connect with the extreme black window frames.

An industrial-style lighting installation falls down from a double high void over the wide walkway that leads through the residential area to the garden.

A beautiful wicker chair is delicately framed by the graceful garden view.

The garden views inspire a green modern sofa design, and a gallery wall of botanical art prints.

The kitchen is a refined modern space that acquires a character of patterned tiling.

Arches and cascading hanging plants give this boho home a romantic presence.

Beautiful leafy paths fall from the roof paths to meet many soil planters filled with flowering indoor plants.

Rotating pendant lights accumulate for added effect in the bright and airy white room scheme.

As we enter the bedroom, we discover a dreamy four-poster bed, which is draped in voluminous white sheets.

Mid-century influences lightly taste our fourth boho home interior.

Alcoves are formed in arches that encompass both contemporary and mid-century aesthetics.

Wall art preserves the natural toned color palette.

A charming macrame hanging light falls on the round dining table.

Finally, our fifth boho variety is a high-ceiling housing with high-end air. Luxurious furniture meets with both boho and high-end decorative elements.

Houndstooth printed puff coordinates perfectly with the sofa cushions and throw. A pair of modern nesting coffee tables form a compatible set with the sofa side table.

In the center of this luxurious studio apartment, a modern fireplace reflects the luxurious lounge area with its mirrored fireplace.

Behind the fireplace, the luxurious bedroom has a fully padded trapdoor wall. A modern upholstered bed gently blends in with the statement wall.

A curved end of a bed bench smoothly completes the beige bed design. The bedroom rug develops a slightly darker shade underneath to build a subtle contrast.

An elegant bedroom chair, a unique floor lamp and a boho side table make for an attractive read by the bedroom window. Gray drapes frame the floor-to-ceiling glass.

White hanging lights illuminate a padded liter drawer and display of decorative vases. A branch of greenery enhances the peaceful bedroom scheme with an edifying touch of nature.

Making Decor Magic With Stone Feature Walls

.

Stone feature walls build pure magic within these two very special interior designs. A rough rock accent wall forms a fabulous room divider in our first property. This unique element of decoration provides the modern living room with a huge statement and acts as a TV wall. The dramatic stone partition is split by a crack of clear glass, which creates an internal picture window that connects to the bedroom series. In our second home design, a black stone feature wall is incorporated into a grumpy living room scheme. The palpation accent wall is joined by coarse concrete and fluted finishes to create a deeply woven interior.

Our first home tour begins in a modern lounge that has a multi-faceted modular sofa layout. The sofa sections are designed to observe all four sides of the room to create a flexible and sociable solution.

One part of the sectional sofa looks out over the end-to-end wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Another part of the modern sofa is located to enjoy the TV, which fits its stand well. Behind it, a striking stone feature wall cracks apart to have an internal image window.

Behind the living room, a large kitchen island is positioned to enjoy the window view, TV entertainment, as well as a rock face feature wall.

A second small side table adds a shiny metallic accent at the opposite end of the couch.

Soft brown accent pillows add moments of warmth to the clear white sofa upholstery.

A unique floor lamp provides a focused reading light in the living room.

Bright beige kitchen units smooth across the back of the living room, interspersed with rich woodwork elements and extreme black accents.

Decorative wall mirrors pixelate between the living room and bedroom, representing the transition. The reflective wall decoration brings natural light into the farthest part of the window room.

A wooden breakfast bar hangs over the kitchen peninsula to make a deep dining surface.

Two linear pendant lights illuminate the kitchen dining room, adding white and copper finishes to the modern kitchen decorative palette.

The center of the bright yellow kitchen island is interrupted by a monolithic stone volume that contains the kitchen and a spout extractor.

A short duration of kitchen counter serves as a decorative surface for some Tetra candles by Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia.

At the opposite end to the dining peninsula, another kitchen island overhang creates space for an integrated dish draining area near the sink.

Pale microcement floors and stucco create a lacquered background for the interior design. Interior doors follow the example under a cement-effect finish that camouflages them into the cool canvas.

The bedroom is developed on the opposite side of the rock face room divider. A warm tan padded bed pushes up against the cool gray stone partition. White and copper bedroom hangers echo the color of the breakfast bar pendant lights in the adjoining living room.

An open wardrobe design applies dark wood grains through one entire wall of the bright bedroom.

A wrapped bedside table pulls comfortably around the channel bedside shelf.

A gray cast contrasts sharply with the warm tan platform bed.

While the glazed stone feature wall serves as a TV wall for the living room, it becomes a headboard feature wall in the bedroom.

Mature indoor plants explode an explosion of natural greenery that elevates the lacquered microcement interior.

A modern toilet is located next to the bedroom window to use the natural light there.

The living room in our second home is dominated by an imposing black stone accent wall. A modular sofa layout and a modern living room rug elevate the decor scheme with multi-colored sections.

A stone side table brings the textile black accent deeper into the living room layout.

A huge living room light distributes an equal amount of lighting all over the sofa. Opposite the black stone feature wall, a unique TV wall is formed with a fluted reverse arch design.

Another arch on the opposite side of the TV wall is moody lit around its edge by a strip of LEDs.

A huge botanical arrangement forms the dining room hanging light above the table.

The large dining set seats up to eight people.

The modern dining chairs are almost sculpted in effect.

A textured rug surrounds the open-plan dining room of the adjoining kitchen.

Mural art presents more arch motifs.

Behind the dining room, the long kitchen island design smashes smooth concrete against a fluted fascia.

Open kitchen shelves are warmly lit to gather attention behind the breakfast bar. Decorative vases and attractive batteries make a chic display.

Black base units and high kitchen units form a dark installation across the back wall of the residence. A matching black counter crowns the pale kitchen island.

A-Costa-Rican-House-With-Privileged-Views-Of-The-Pacific

Costa Rican House: Privileged Pacific Views

Like Architecture and Interior Design? Follow us …

Thank you. You have been subscribed.

.

Silenced on the hilltops of the town of Nosara in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Charred Timber House absorbs high-level views of the Pacific and a dense green landscape. Designed by Studio Saxe, the 515-square-foot family home has charcoal teak wood exterior and black-framed windows. Two extended horizontal roof planes provide protection against the natural elements, while also promoting connection with nature by forming wide and welcoming terraces. The exterior is inspired by the interior, which is decorated with natural wood and dark, matte materials. Living spaces are open plan and airy, with full focus placed on the special views that are drawn in through floor to ceiling walls made of glass.

The height of the modern property passes just below the canopy of surrounding trees, effectively mixing the house into the natural environment. A wide driveway leads up to the house through the density of mature trees, then finding full shade under a stylish second-floor overhang.

A glass pillar rises through the center of the structure, framed in a clear white image. A double-height expanse of glass reveals the rise of a modern staircase inside. Large terraces surround the edges of both floors, extending the usable living space outside into the fresh air.

The modern exterior is clad in charred teak wood, which contrasts sharply with the light natural wood overhang of the roof and upper terrace. Black frames trim entire walls of windows on each floor of the home, causing neat squares of reflection.

A swimming pool terrace is laid out on the side of the property, where the cool blue water ripples out towards the view of the Pacific Ocean. Tall palm trees provide a spotted shade around it.

Plant beds carve into the hillside that rises around the house. A small rustic rock wall borders the base of the slope, leading the way towards stone steps that aid the ascent through the grounds.

The construction of this home was driven by the weight-bearing capabilities of the soil and the seismic conditions of Costa Rica. In response, a lightweight steel structure was pre-cut to be assembled quickly on site. Local tequila has been sustainably sourced and treated by the ancient technique of carburizing and finishing with natural oils.

Divided wide open to the dramatic ocean and mountain panorama, the interior is an intense space. Colorful accent furniture competes for attention in the living room. Multicolored scattered cushions add to the upbeat palette. A modern rocking chair counteracts the brightness with a natural wooden frame and neutral upholstery.

The open plan living room layout goes back to a casual dining room layout and an open concept kitchen. An oversized rotan hanging light shadow descends onto the dining table, creating a relaxed tropical aesthetic.

Three kitchen stools pull up to a kitchen island with a wooden building. Black countertops add visual weight to the lightweight kitchen design.

The unique staircase achieves a dramatic effect in the home entrance. A wide column of windows frames views of the ocean and sky.

Not only does the high staircase volume add an interesting juxtaposition to the architecture, but it helps air circulation to all parts of the apartment. The construction’s bioclimatic design process considered wind patterns, sun exposure, temperature, and more so that active energy initiatives could be avoided. In this home, the power of the sun is harnessed to heat water with minimal energy consumption, and water is recycled by filters using state-of-the-art treatment plant systems.

Upstairs, bedroom decorations are simple and serene with natural wood furniture, wooden lath wall and ceiling featuring panels, and clear white bed linen. A rustic wooden end of a bed bench merges with the unfinished wooden bed design. Modern white liter units line the sides for storage. Glass table lamps reflect the daylight of huge bedroom windows.

At the foot of the rustic wooden platform bed, a simple black bedroom rug puts a soft texture on the wooden bedroom floor.

On the large bedroom terrace, a small outdoor sofa is positioned to view the tranquil panorama. The simple seat makes it an irresistible place to start the day with a fresh cup of hot coffee, or end it with a cold glass of wine.

Double-sided floor-to-ceiling windows allow the abundant mountain views to dominate the interior of the minimalist bedroom as well, which negates the need for uncomfortable bedroom wall decor and recreational items.

Exterior lighting makes a warm glow along the edges of the main terrace, washing a golden light on the coarse gray concrete floor. Recessed LEDs glow at the base of the overhanging first-floor terrace, adding evening lighting to an outdoor seating right next to the living room.

Fresh-Ideas-For-Muted-Orange-And-Green-Decor

Fresh Ideas For Muted Orange And Green Decor

Like Architecture and Interior Design? Follow us …

Thank you. You have been subscribed.

.

The orange and green color combo is exciting and bold, but not everyone likes a strong decorative palette. This collection of five modern home interiors shows how to incorporate the contrasting color combination without it becoming distracting loud or overwhelming. These inspiring home designs are dominated by muted tones. Orange hues tend to be soft apricot and brown hue tones, while green hues are fresh and mint, warm olive green, or brought in naturally by houseplants. We will be looking at ideas for orange and green lounges that use color as a zoning technique, modern bathrooms, colorful master bedrooms, fun green children’s rooms, as well as mood boards and floor plans along the way.

Molded orange accent cushions add some warmth to a small sectional sofa and white living room decor in our first design. The same accent color provides clear zoning for the dining room in the open plan residential area, this time in the form of modern upholstered chairs.

Fresh mint green cabinets separate the kitchen from the dining room on the compact floor. The ends of the high kitchen cabinets are transformed into bookcases to form an attractive and useful function.

A birdcage-style hanging lighthouse makes a playful addition over the small dining table, and echoes its round shape.

The black lighting is complemented by the black frame of the contemporary dining chairs, and the extreme black window frames.

The bird-themed dining room hanging light, botanical artwork and a set of indoor plants form a peaceful connection with nature.

As we enter the master bedroom, we pass a closet design that gently glows through glass doors. The upholstered bed is placed centrally in the rest of the space, flanked by round bedside tables and directional wall lights.

The modern nursery takes on a solid saturation of color. A green wall paint smashes against a black wrapped headboard to create a bold combination.

The black and green colorway continues inside the bathroom with mint green wall tiles reaching up to a black ceiling.

The interior project moodboard shows how the wood tone for the home was chosen to gently blend in with the orange elements.

Apartment plan.

The coloring technique was again used in our second salon design. An olive green sofa defines the living room, while dark quiet orange dining chairs enclose the dining room.

All areas of the open plan living room are cohesively joined by an edge of visually warming wooden wall panels.

The woven sofa and chair have a relaxed look that suggests a relaxed exterior aesthetic. Indoor plants add to the quiet garden feel.

Round wall lamps complete the curves of the oval dining table and the architectural arches that connect the dining room to the neighboring kitchen.

The curved kitchen peninsula smoothly surrounds into a narrow kitchen layout.

A mirrored refrigerator-freezer increases the feeling of space and light in the narrow kitchen design.

The arched doors leading into the kitchen were covered with wooden effect panels that matched the kitchen units.

The master bedroom design has a delicate botanical theme.

Watercolor leaves paint a lighted ceiling feature wall.

Mossy green accent pillows and a matching green throw add color to a clear white bed.

In the child’s bedroom, the bed is placed in a comfortable arched doorway, which is painted solid green inside and out. The green color scheme also links with a child’s study area at the window, where coordinating window curtains extend the palette.

Olive-green wall tiles covered the damp wall in the shower room. Recessed LEDs illuminate their hue.

This modern orange and green home interior has a color concentrated in its center, where a muted green living room rug is interrupted by a bright orange coffee table.

A gray sofa falls into the background of the more colorful living room decorations.

Behind the sofa, the dining room is set with a green accented dining table design.

Another cone-shaped hanging shade is located inside the master bedroom. Although the bedroom hanger light is smaller than its dining room, it enlarges an orange bedside table.

The bedside table competes for attention against the oversized bedroom hanger with its bold orange color. A simple glass vase holds a small piece of greenery.

The gray padded bed is set against a custom curved headboard design that adds a flash of green to a basic white wall.

A green bedroom chair completes the curved green headboard. Artwork brings contrasting orange tones.

Orange paint enhances the modern bathroom design, while runway-shaped wall mirror, bathroom light and bathrooms add non-black elements.

Gray concrete tiles effectively subdue the orange decoration scheme.

An arched shower screen completes the runway-shaped vanity mirror.

The gray concrete tiles continue inside the shower wet zone to ensure seamless flow.

This 65 square meter home is located in the Arganzuela district of Madrid, Spain. The project involved the transformation of an industrial area into residential housing.

Indoor plants grow invigorating green accents in this relaxed home interior, while their terracotta pots add to the warm orange accents located around the room.

Modern art brings bright orange shades on a small scale that does not overwhelm the light living space.

Orange accent pillows color the sofa. Books and CDs compile their own stack of colors.

Rattan stools, jute rugs and natural wood elements warmly complement the orange infusions.

A small wooden dining table sits four in the kitchen.

A mezzanine bedroom is built into the old industrial space to use its high ceiling height. The bathroom is hidden below.

Exposed pipeline and masonry wall add to the industrial vibe of the modern home interior.

The whitewashed brick wall forms a textured background for the kitchen. White backsplash tiles are placed in a vertical orientation to contradict the horizontal masonry.

Wooden wall shelves and wooden cutting boards add warm moments to the cool white kitchen design.

High kitchen units are also chosen in a natural wood finish. Handmade dishes and storage vases communicate a creative, boho aesthetic.

Floating shelves are mounted on either side of the bed to keep the bedroom clear and open.

Built-in closets provide ample storage.

The mezzanine bedroom is atmospherically lit by an Akari 1A floor lamp by Isamu Noguchi. The floor lamp in a dream illuminates framed artwork that serves as a picturesque landscape view.

Stock cubes contain a colorful library of books.

A black frame clearly borders the mezzanine in the predominantly white decor.

The windowless bathroom is clad in black tiles across its walls and floor to accentuate its dark character, rather than fight against it.

Recessed LEDs wash a cool white light along the wet shower wall and its built-in bench.

Apartment floor, illustrating the mezzanine structure and kitchen installation.

Ultimately, our latest home design is a large, light and airy apartment that is full of vivid greenery and earthy orange accents.

Yellow lounge chairs face a coordinating beige sofa in the living room. Carpet adds a subtle pattern. A simple white fireplace quietly melts into the matching white paint.

Black metallic elements ground the airy decor of the living room. Wooden arches define every area of the living space, from the living room to the dining room and the kitchen.

The entrance is located through an arched gate on the side of the hall. Traditionally turned wooden console table makes a neat addition under a piece of monochrome modern art.

Customized storage units form a mud room area next to the front door, with ample storage space for coats and shoes. A small puff, a standing mirror and a wall lamp form a convenient wardrobe in the corner of the lobby.

A large window allows natural light to spill onto a long residential dining table that seats up to eight people. A black wire-framed chandelier thinly silhouetted in the sunlight.

Just beyond the dining room, a modern residential kitchen design features navy blue base units and a contrasting wooden kitchen island. Elegant kitchen hangers descend onto a convenient breakfast bar that seats three.

Golden hardware sings the dark blue cabinet finish.

Soothing Beige & Wood Interior With Industrial Accents

Soothing shades of beige and natural wood tone are mixed to create a light and modestly luxurious apartment in this edgy light-filled apartment interior. Created by Tomkin design, the 77-square-foot home looks relaxed and inviting with its simple color palette and uncomplicated contemporary furniture styles. The lightweight and laconic design gets a cool shake in the form of industrial elements, such as exposed concrete ceilings, a unique stainless steel accented kitchen design, and two steel paneled bathroom concepts. The rest of the apartment design is sleek and serene with fresh white interludes, built-in custom storage units, trendy runway-shaped silhouettes and sleek modern lighting fixtures.

A beige, white and wood tone combine to create a simple living room decoration that soothes the eye, while exposed concrete ceilings add an industrial touch. Wooden lattice doors hide the kitchen from the open plan living room to keep the soothing simplicity.

Withdrawn from the kitchen, the retractable grille doors reveal a modern kitchen with industrial-style stainless steel back and a compatible countertop.

In contrast to the cool stainless steel kitchen detail, the living area features visually warming cream upholstered furniture. The punk black floor lamps are Sampei floor lamps designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese.

The TV stand is placed on a stone fireplace, which attractively lifts it from the wooden herringbone floor and a large cream-colored carpet.

Twin lounge chairs adhere to the modular sofa layout to form a comfortable U-shaped piece of furniture.

Two round coffee tables nestle in front of the two matching chairs, making them a comfortable place to enjoy a hot drink and a good book.

The low stack living room rug holds the conversation lounge layout along with an understated creamy fabric.

Mature indoor plants add bursts of greenery around the room, bringing a hint of a great outdoors.

Modern black dining chairs complement the black floor lamps and black round coffee table in the adjoining lounge area.

Yellow drapes and all-white veils soften the large windows at the edge of the living room dining combo. A vertical radiator exploits the narrow wall space between the adjacent glass panes.

A projector is attached to the ceiling of the living room, offering a more authentic viewing experience at the movie night.

Another set of wooden doors hides the second wall of the hidden L-shaped kitchen installation.

When the second set of wooden doors are pulled back, they reveal access to integrated appliances, wine storage and extra cupboards. The rectangular dining table stands a central stage in the kitchen, with a modern rustic stool rounding each end.

The black dining chair silhouettes offer a dark contrast against the wooden table and stools.

Elegant black hanging lights connect with the bold black dining chairs.

Silver-plated stainless steel kitchen accents glow brightly behind the dark dining set.

A modern fruit bowl adds a fine natural wood element to the contemporary dining table.

As we move around the corner of the kitchen into the hallway of the home, we discover an attractive entrance layout with a fashionable racing wall mirror and a neat entrance shelf on which to drop keys or enjoy the pleasant smell of a cane diffuser. .

A piece of 3D embossed artwork and a change of floor mark the transition of space between the living space and the entrance.

Modern wall lighting illuminates the front door.

Built-in storage units are raised above the corridor floor to create a corner for shoes.

The floating aisle storage units have a custom bench at one end, where hanging hooks are mounted for the coats of guests.

Inside the bedroom, a soft gray upholstered bed has a unique angled headboard design.

Here, wooden lattice doors are used for custom wardrobe.

A smart swivel chair and desk fit snugly into the corner of the bedroom, creating a comfortable workspace by the window.

The opposite side of the bedroom is delivered to a piano.

Lacking a dedicated piano room, a pair of music book shelves give the bedroom piano area its own identity and zoning.

Inside the main bathroom, the modern bathroom has a wooden grille aesthetic that connects with the bedroom closet and the hidden kitchen.

A stainless steel panel behind the toilet adds the industrial decorative element to the bathroom.

A vertical towel warmer adds a pure white accent to a beige bathroom accent wall.

The same beige picture blocks in the bathtub and built-in corner shelves. Cold gray concrete tiles covered the wet area of the bathtub and shower.

The compact powder chamber follows the same warm beige image and stainless material palette as the larger bathroom.

Stainless steel panel provides toilet cistern hiding, while smooth white unit doors cover storage space above it. Beneath the small sink, a curved wooden shelf completes the outline of a full-length running-shaped vanity mirror.

Recessed LED lights shed a bright light along the beige wet zone of a narrow shower.

There are so many things to appreciate and enjoy about the holiday season. Of course, time with loved ones is the most important thing, but that time can be even more memorable with the right surroundings. Putting on Christmas decorations is one of the best ways to get into the holiday spirit. When you’re surrounded by the glow of beautiful lights, soft, comfortable fabrics and the fresh smell of a Christmas tree, it’s almost impossible not to feel that special glow of the season. In this post, explore some really beautiful and modern inspiration for your own family’s seasonal celebration.

There is no question that a beautifully decorated Christmas tree is an ideal centerpiece for home holiday decoration.

While an eclectic collection of ornaments is always charming, matching ornaments in a white hue give a tree a much more modern feel.

Here the white ornaments match a white sofa and a white marble coffee table.

To accentuate the white tone, moss decoration creates color and complements the tree.

Blue and white is another classic combo and a great option for those who may dislike red and green.

Playful lighted reindeer add a bit of whim.

The coat here is adorned with a beautiful garland of greenery.

White and gold ornaments play well with the green and blue shades of the rest of the room.

Lighting can also add a holiday vibe, as with the wonderful chandelier here that matches the twin wall lights.

The light from above almost seems to flow down around the tree with white splashes.

White, silver and gold make beautiful packages under a tree with matching ornaments.

Reflection in the lighting fixtures as well as a large mirror adds more brightness to a room that is painted a dark color.

A comfortable tufted leather chair is an elegant seat, no matter the season.

Even a modern Christmas decoration can bring a beautiful red.

In this separate room, a red velvet sofa is gorgeous at Christmas.

Christmas pillows bring a little more holiday cheer to an already cheerful sofa.

For a more minimalist setting, this sleek green velvet sofa fits the bill.

A floating tree brings even more of the outdoors indoors.

Here, an art tree is made of string, pine and other natural elements.

A simple but elegant table landscape is welcome for Christmas guests.

Using holiday decor to frame interior features like a picture window is a great choice.

A Christmas tree in this home acts as much more of an accent than a focus.

And a white gold-blue stand mimics the conical shape of the tree for ultimate harmony.

Vaulted ceiling means vertical space for more decorations.

Stars above the fireplace attract the eye, even over the tree itself.

In another creative decorative option, feathers emerge from this one.

Minimal natural light means more focus on Christmas lights and candles.

A rich, purple sofa nods to the royal influence in this room.

In this room, green shaded curtains complement the natural Christmas tree color.

A modern cabin is a dream place to spend the holidays.

Plenty of warm wood and natural light make this home feel extremely comfortable.

For a more urban setting, an impressive super light fixture works almost like an ornament for a beautiful tree.

Outdoor Christmas decorating is also an essential part of the season.

This city roof offers a comfortable retreat with a hot tub and lights.

Carefully chosen Christmas stockings are chic and classic.

A balcony is a perfectly wonderful resting place for a Christmas tree of a city dweller.

Outdoor lights do not need to be complex to be effective.

White Christmas is the dream of most children come true.

Not every urban setting is a Miracle on 34th Street, but it certainly has its own charm.

Finally, a wonderful outdoor display on a tree is a worthy replacement for the spring leaves of that tree.

Modern Indian House With A Beautiful Indoor Pond

A slow, nature-kissed serenity flows through this modern Indian house design, which was created by the talent at an architectural firm. Developing Radical Aesthetics. From the outside, the modern home is trimmed with mature palms and established plant beds that frame the fresh white image of asymmetrical architecture. Inside the house, a bold staircase design dominates a wide entrance that leads into open and airy lounges. The simple yet elegant accommodations pause at bright courtyards that provide a blissful breeze. One sun-stained courtyard has a beautiful koi fish pond that provides vibrant color, life and quiet entertainment to family members of all ages.

As we approach our prominent home from the main street, White-painted boundary walls complete the clear white depiction of sharp asymmetrical architecture that cuts into the clear blue sky. Ripe palm trees soften the sloping silhouette of the house before the gradient of the roof guides the eye down into established plant beds.

The modern façade shines warmly at night, as outside lights illuminate the porch and indoor jewelry glitters from within a light-permeable second-floor wall.

Stone paving slabs covered the driveway and entrance of the contemporary Indian home, clearing the path for visitors. An architectural overhang provides ample shade over the front door.

Above the front entrance, a covered balcony offers a cool and shady place to hang out, read or chat.

As we enter the high-quality home, we are greeted with a wide-open entrance. A dominant modern staircase design climbs to the upper floor with open wooden steps and a bold solid black railing.

Open doors lead from the wide entrance into the living room and a separate dining room. A watery courtyard installs a peaceful break between the residences and encourages a blissful wind to cool the inner rooms.

Delicate water lilies grow in the heart of the koi pond, while the lively koi fish feel a vibrant orange color as they meander around the bubbling borders.

Plenty of green plants bloom around the edges of the colorful koi fish pond, where they reach up through the sun-stained space toward the sky.

The lively pond creates a dreamy view of the living room and the formal dining room.

The decoration inside the dining room is simple and minimalist, light and understated, so as not to detract from the neighboring koi pond. A contemporary wooden tone and a dull black buffet embrace a cool planked concrete wall. Two modern dining room lights drop satin silver accents over the modern dining set.

Above the buffet unit, a trio of botanical wall art prints complete the beauty of the adjoining courtyards. A soft gray carpet warms the tiled floor of a dining room.

The dining room is sandwiched between two courtyards that shed natural light on the white upholstered dining chairs. The shade of the light changes as the sun sets, which magically transforms the color scheme of the dining room.

The soothing koi fish pond distracts family members of all ages, from the very small and curious to the older and contemplative.

The koi pond also makes the most amazing and quiet addition to bedrooms. Here, an elegant bedroom chair pulls up to the patio doors to appreciate the special view. Floral blankets connect with the relationship to nature, along with natural wooden deck design and a vase of greenery. A small night light emits a warm and calm glow.

The dry courtyard design provides other rooms and walkways with a burst of natural greenery, a breath of fresh ventilation and a splash of natural daylight. Glass walls on each floor of the home ensure that the courtyard view is spread high and wide.

A small garden area was planted upstairs so that every room in the home would benefit from a tangible connection with the outdoors. A loose swing offers an inviting place to look at the view and move the hours away. An outdoor chair and table are set at a tactile distance from the plants for a more enveloping garden moment.

An eclectic mix of furniture stylizes the living room spaces.

Eight-gloss wooden chairs are paired with an air-permeable wall. A blue planter draws color inspiration from the cloudless sky.

The upper landing is bordered by clear glass railings, which leave the flow of natural light unobstructed.

A covered balcony welcomes the family into the fresh air.

A unique concrete bench curves the perimeter of the balcony.

A wide ceiling filters the strong sunlight to provide a comfortable shade. Outdoor planters bring a piece of the garden to the upper seat.

Board shaped concrete contours the side of the contemporary Indian home exterior.

Each room is designed to take advantage of the natural breeze and mild shade.

Ground floor plan and first floor plan.

The section drawing clearly illustrates the positioning of the dining room between the two courtyard designs.

Design of living space, including living room, dining room and beautiful patio with koi pond. We also see the covered balcony above, which is lovingly and aptly named the Sunset Garden.

The project is titled The Wall of Being, and it is behind this wall of being that life for the family unfolds in complete privacy and tranquility.

A neutral color palette is usually the safest choice when it comes to clean, modern design. But in the right hands, neutral tones can serve as a simple foundation from which the designer can make big bold jumps. In this home, whites and whites triggered large bursts of burgundy red, deep blue, and even black. Without the reassuring neutrals, these bolder choices might appear to be too loud or blurry, but here, a balance is struck and the result is complex with a pop of playfulness.

In the main living space, a creative wall light is mounted just above the sofa.

Choosing a small sofa is an easy way to save space when there is not much to save.

By mounting the TV above the piano, a living room also becomes a piano room.

The piano stool is both a necessity for the instrument and an elegant accessory.

A blue door and entrance is a reassuring choice for the first thing residents see at the end of a long day.

The small kitchen uses the same rich red hue we first saw in the living area.

Indeed, the red kitchen is a bold choice because the space is so small.

A mirror of the entrance makes the space feel immediately larger when entering.

Colored confetti tiles add a bit of playfulness.

Built-in entrance is the perfect landing place for knicknacks, mail and keys.

Although the entrance is small, it has a great design effect with its palette.

In the bedroom, a padded bed with a soft headboard is welcome and comfortable.

Color-blocked paint in a beautiful peach shade is perfect for a bedroom.

The use of soft textures in the staging as well as hanging bedroom hanging light is another comfortable choice.

A nesting bedside table has an appearance that is somewhat 80s.

The wall light in this bedroom comes softly from behind the padded headboard.

A projector is mounted above the bed instead of a TV.

The bedroom closet and office area are hidden behind dim glass panels.

A high floor mirror is always a good choice to make a small room feel bigger.

The home workshop hidden behind the glass panels is small but does the job.

In the in-room, bathroom mirror uses a reverse arch design that is visually unique.

A washing machine is hidden under the bathroom arm.

A branch of a fresh plant is always a nice touch in a bathroom.

The confetti tile with a neutral shift is perfect in the bathroom and shower.

Built-in bathtub and shower are most practical for a small home.

A black raincoat is a luxurious choice.

Finally, a simple white door provides privacy and simple elegance.

A beautiful home does not need to ignore the comfort of its inhabitants. One of the best ways to create a comfortable and welcoming space is to include lots of soft, luxurious textures with the use of upholstery. The two homes featured in this poster use a contrast of textures between polished stone, gold, large windows, and beds and sofas upholstered in soft, inviting fabrics. The designs that result from such contrasts are elegant and welcome, really asking guests to be comfortable and stay for a while.

A large sectional sofa serves as a perfect meeting place for visitors and family in this home of Kiev, Ukraine.

A pair of matching, modern armchairs offer even more seating on a backdrop of floor-to-ceiling windows.

A large area rug creates a focus and adds softer textures to the room.

Neutral lounge chairs have the clean lines needed for a luxurious, modern look.

The open floor makes the main apartment ideal for entertaining.

A unique floor lamp almost disappears in the surrounding decoration.

Due to the stunning windows, the darker gray colors do not make the space feel smaller.

Any home with more than one level should pay attention to its staircase design.

Creative sculpture is the focus while also almost blending into the wall with its color.

Moving into the luxurious bedroom, the cool, gray color scheme runs through.

Using a floor lamp in the bedroom along with other lamps gives the occupant several light stories to choose from.

Glass closet doors encourage organization and make the room feel bigger.

Wearing a bedroom rug under the bed is a nice touch for cold mornings.

When a bedroom has elegant hardwood floors, rugs are almost essential.

An unadorned gray stone bathroom lets the design flow out of the bedroom.

A stunning glass bathtub serves as a display in an otherwise monochrome bathroom.

The amber glass lets light through.

The color of the tub is accelerated by the gray stone floor.

Side-by-side sinks complete the bathtub.

A separate show area is a bit more practical than the stand-alone tub for everyday use.

The second home is a 120 square meter apartment in Chisinau, Moldova and a tufted sofa welcomes us into the home.

Wall TV is a simple focus for the place of residence.

An open floor means that the design of all the separate dwellings must work together.

The soft, white upholstered dining chairs add an inviting touch to the main dining area. Use of gold is subtle but sensual here.

A white marble kitchen island is a delicious and luxurious choice.

A flexible light cord creatively hangs from an upper fixture.

A glass vase is always a welcome addition in the kitchen or any room.

Black, white and gray are all but simple in this creative combination.

A monochrome plant makes a dramatic side decoration.

Herringbone is a classic pattern for hardwood flooring and looks amazing here.

White porcelain bathtub is a luxurious choice in the bathroom.

There is no single color palette that makes a home beautiful, welcoming or elegant. However, there is no denying that the right shade of blue can make a room feel just a little calmer. Bringing together the context of water, nature and life, blue is easy to integrate into almost any type of decor. In these two homes, blue is used as a beautiful accent while neutral tones and other colors work to bring out the blue and create a harmonious feeling for the whole home.

The blue sectional sofa gives plenty of space to sit in the first home.

As a complement to the blue section, a blue accent wall is used as a television stand.

In modern home design, decorative vases are always a good choice because they allow you to regularly bring cut flowers or other plants into the home.

A neutral-colored rug adds a soft texture to the floor.

When an open floor is too open, modular glass walls are one option.

Black and wood paneled shelves work in harmony with the glass door.

The blue hue used on this accent wall works really well with the rich chocolate tones of the wood panel in the dining room.

Closed, the glass inner wall gives some privacy for cooking or eating.

Simple black kitchen stools provide an easy place to rest for a drink or a quick snack.

A unique mounted wall light gives a warm glow to the entrance.

A blue-purple hue gives a pop in cream and a white bedroom.

Artwork is essential to make the home feel personal and warm, even when it is a simple white drawing.

Of course, blue is not the only color used in this elegant home. Yellow is a sunny, wonderful choice for a children’s room.

Most kids are not so lucky to have their own personal climbing gym.

A two-tone wall pattern brings two different blues into play.

Stained stone bathroom is serene and smooth.

Double vanity and wide mirror give a lot to prepare space.

Simple closet design is comfortable is private.

A cantilever floor lamp is another fun focal piece.

The blue accents in this main residence include unique artwork above the sofa.

In a home that uses a lot of neutrals, a bright and colorful gallery wall is pretty pop.

In the dining room, a dining bench in its natural wood tone is a warm choice.

The beautiful blue tone transforms into a beautiful blue kitchen back.

In general, the bedroom uses blue, white and natural wood tones in its design.

The bathroom window uses a unique sloping design.

In a smaller home, some rooms should have several purposes such as this home office and gym.

Breathing In Nature & Peace With Scandinavian decoration

Bohemian infusions to Scandinavian decoration mean more colors, more woven elements and more intricate patterns. Decorations and accessories take on a more natural aesthetic, with hints of world travel. In these four Scandi-Boho home interiors, the fusion of interior themes makes light and airy living spaces that communicate a connection with nature through indoor plants and a natural material palette. A sense of peace results from the natural vibrations, which are enhanced by earthy accents, handmade objects of interest and easy, windy arrangements. We will round off with a slightly brighter consideration of the aesthetics, where vibrant turquoises shake a quiet setting of white and wood tone.

A gallery wall of botanical art and an intricate pattern introduce boho vibes into our first outstanding home design. Skandi-style dove gray living room sofa makes a gentle accompaniment to the display of natural tones.

Down in front of the sofa, a geometrically designed rug stretches in shades of deep blue and shade. A small puff continues the blue accent shade in its boho padding.

A round lounge chair and a mature indoor plant pair to form a typical boho reading night ensemble, but a clever simple upholstery and a simple accent cushion bring back the simple Scandi vibes.

Outside the elegant little home, a deck is being built to extend the living space. A set of small outdoor chairs are turned out to the abundant green view.

The wooden deck splits into smaller wooden “steps” at one end that form a path through the landscape.

Inside the bedroom, a Scandi wooden platform bed is dressed in deep shades of orange and shade in a boho print. Dark shady scattered cushions are layered at the head of the bed, under a picture frame filled with dreamy botanical art. A simple round mirror adorns the adjoining wall next to the window.

Wooden bedside tables are equipped with elegant leather-looking handles. A sweet-smelling candy cane and a slender glass vase filled with dried flowers make tranquil decorations.

Within the clear white marble bathroom scheme, a wood-framed bathroom mirror and rustic wooden vanity make warming contributions. Shiny gold fixtures add a luxurious element.

Located in Barcelona, Spain, our second Scandi-Boho home tour begins in a lighted hall. A tasseled living room rug lies boho vibes under a Scandi lounge chair and a tripod floor lamp.
