Ground gray stone elements, black marble and a deep natural wood tone combine to present this sophisticated home Wood Interior with a bit of style. Displayed by Irina Borysenko, this striking 800 square meter private house in Tallinn, Estonia, is a unique space with a fresh, modern style and a strong character. A dual-height living room makes a striking statement at the heart of the home with a fabulous stone fireplace, a tall bookcase and a surrounding glass mezzanine. A contemporary staircase design climbs to the upper floor on lighted steps to access an impressive master bedroom suite with its own lounge area and home workshop, as well as a gorgeous luxury bathroom.
As we enter the impressive double-height living room, it is the ceiling-mounted fireplace that makes the first impression. The huge chimney flue is suspended over a unique stone fireplace where open flames leap at one end.
A modern sectional sofa and matching ottomans wrap the remaining three sides of the large living room in a U-shaped layout. A light gray saloon rug holds the entire layout together on soft ground.

Now, all the attention is on greige, a mix of colors gray and beige. This versatile new neutral is subtly warmer than the shady tones that have recently dominated laconic interiors, but a little cooler than sand and deer shades. This balanced mix gives the greige decoration a universal quality that suits all spaces, regardless of size and natural light quality. In this collection of three inspiring modern home interiors, we’ll look at the introduction of gray into soothing accommodations, kitchens, modern bedrooms, and an elegant bathrooms.

Without the right lighting, accents and strong silhouettes, a dark interior design can be blurry or simply depressing. With thoughtful accents, the dark decor is mysterious, exciting and profound. Thoughtful lighting focuses on highlights in the room, creating bright views of style and wonder. To illustrate, we present inspiring home interiors that offer two contrasting alternatives to set a tastefully dark decor. Home design number one is saturating ebony black with luxurious introductions of mood lighting where you would least expect it. Our second tour takes us to a smaller apartment where the decor is slightly lightened to a charcoal and graphite combination that builds a comfortable cocoon.
In our first inspiring example of modern dark interior design, a large modular sofa layout forms an island of deep comfort in the center of the shadows.
One side of the sectional sofa composition is turned into a projector screen that illuminates an entire wall when in use.

In our first inspiring home design, we visit a living room with textured decor and a host of high-end furniture. The elegant living space, however, is completely overshadowed by a striking entrance design with a sharp orange color-blocked treatment and a cool modern staircase design. Our second outstanding home interior is a deeply shaded design with atmospheric mood lighting, lots of indoor plants and an industrial feel. Finally, we will complete our trio of tours in a lighter, lime-washed living space where trendy bows and subtle boho flowers add elegance and intrigue.
This 145 square meter home design is located in Frankfurt, Germany. A set of tones and textures are put together to create a comfortable modern apartment, with just a hint of bohemian essence. A tan ottoman makes a soft, tonal contrast with a gray tufted sofa design, while a small side table cuts a clear white silhouette.
Behind the tufted sofa, crested plaster wall panels draw a deep textural interest that is exaggerated under dark graphite paint. Two modern works of art combine several decorative shades to form a single cohesive focus.

With a gray and white decorative palette, elegant contemporary furniture silhouettes and a minimalist approach, these two light-filled apartment projects reassure sanctuaries you can find after a day in the bustling city. The first interior we will visit has a false roof design that creates an open and sunny feel, even on a gray day. Properly built warehouses line the walls and contain a hidden doorway. The second serene gray and white interior has a solar boost with light yellow accents, and a glass wall home office that shares the distribution of natural light.
Measuring 115 square meters (1245 square feet), this apartment interior is located in a tall building that faces the Tamsui River in Zhuwei District of New Taipei City. Rainy days at the end of winter previously evoked a sad atmosphere in this place, but now every day is overshadowed by the light of a false skylight that extends over the study area and the walkway that leads to the kitchen.

The atmosphere of prevailing tranquility combines pale gray living spaces, contemporary kitchen oak and walnut projects and polished modern dining spaces. In this 100 square meters private apartment, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the open plan lounge is an impressive double height space full of natural light. Smooth curves form a graceful living area with a soft gray round rug and an elegant curved sofa.
Above the sofa, bronze modern wall lamps contrast deeply with crisp white walls. A smaller seat is arranged by the window, where vertical tiles form a design wall.
