Classy Contemporary Interiors With Deep Brown, Grey & White Decor

Deep brown, soothing gray and pure white embellishment overshadow these three elegant contemporary home interiors, pictured by Mai Trang Nguyen. The soothing neutrals merge with chic furniture arrangements to form quiet and polite living spaces. Each of these elegant home projects has inspiration for modestly scaled open concept homes and small kitchen ideas, beautiful lighting projects and eye-catching accessories. Home design number one is a luxurious, luxurious expression of taste; interior number two explores an adventurous space-themed decorating scheme; design three gives us a shaped interpretation with fashionable running contours and interior arches, while home four simplifies the palette for a small space.

A reddish-brown modular sofa adds immense warmth to a dark gray and cool white surroundings in our first prominent home interior. A black and white puppy throw washes a moment of light relief over the sofa padding.

Above the living room and adjoining dining room, a black-painted ceiling creates drama and an incredible factor.

The modern dining room lives under the glow of an artistic wall light; golden accents shine warmly under the light. A delicate marble table top makes a beautiful oval outline between modern dining chairs.

A fabulous TV wall was built with a striking rib panel behind the TV screen. The textured inverse arch reflects the warm reddish-brown hue of the sofa.

Wine storage is displayed under bright LED ribbons close to the kitchen run. The wine storage cabinet balances an entry-level storage unit on the opposite side of a jokingly gold-wrapped bench.

The sloping gold recess in the entrance completes an amazing curved kitchen island project with a champagne gold base.

The island is extended at one end to include a breakfast bar. Shiny gold-framed kitchen bar stools further elevate the look.

Unique kitchen island lights pile up over the prep table and dining room. See more kitchen lighting here.

The basic kitchen cabinets are framed by a champagne gold racetrack that perfectly matches the entrance cupboards. This coherence gives the impression of a much more spacious kitchen space.

A black marble countertop and overall create a bold split between the lightweight upper and lower units. A bright black fridge freezer continues the dark accent.

Our second interior design has a bit of an adventurous space theme, with mini-astronauts landing on the surface of a space-era inspired coffee table. A modern wall lamp sets a celestial aura against the pale gray living room wall.

A unique modern sofa forms a futuristic silhouette under white upholstery, while the modern salsa plant has a deep brown accent.

Phases of the lunar wall lights cross across the dining room.

Two different styles of modern dining chairs gather interest around a unique oval dining table.

Wooden flooring warms the living area, while a cool white tile neatly defines the kitchen and dining room.

Ribbed cabinet doors textually define the upper units in the all-white kitchen design.

A full moon waxes in the moody gray and black bedroom plan. The moonlight gnaws away at the corner of a ribbed plasterboard; LED light ribbons around the edges.

Black glazed glass allows shady clothing silhouettes to mysteriously show through the walls of the wardrobe.

The second bedroom in this home is a space theme for a children’s room where a mural depicts the moon in orbit close to the bed.

A floating children’s desk is mounted on an elongated headboard that creates a smooth flow through the room.

In our third featured home design, brown is promoted by a small accent to the main focal color of the room. Here, we see a solid rich brown TV wall that melts into the hallway that leads to the bedrooms.

An unusual brown and gray upholstered sofa design reflects the solid brown feature wall. A fully coordinated rug draws attention to the two-tone feature of the sofa. A racetrack with a coffee table and a racetrack bench seat leads to a curvy theme.

The L-shaped kitchen installation uses the brown accent color for a tiled back shower.

A piece of masonry links the brown accents and arched decorative themes.

Finally, our fourth outstanding home design is a small space that shines an amazing depth of the deep brown, gray and white palette. A small curved sofa and round stool are sharply contrasted by a hexagonal coffee table, though all fuse under soft gray finishes.

Global hanging lights drop a modern focus over the center of the room, while classic bust sculptures bring art history to a tailor-made built-in TV with integrated storage and bookshelves.

Dark brown and white kitchen design fills the back of the small open concept living room.

In the home entrance, a unique shelf and niche set up an elegant arched theme. See more inspiration for arches in interiors.

Waving 3D wall art and a free-form wall mirror on the opposite wall prevent the confined space from feeling static.

Abstract, linear volumes pile up to form a distinct modern 4266 square foot home for five families in Bangalore, India. Created by Spine Architects, the unique angular shape stands out sharply against a gray, densely populated metropolis. Pure white concrete and rich wooden cladding contain a dwelling based on the ancient architectural science of Vaastu, which embraces the advantages of nature. The interior spaces are simple, spacious and projected around two landscaped courtyards, each with skylights that flood sunlight into the openly interconnected floors of the house. The natural greenery brings a valuable exterior within the introverted urban housing, with trees that draw the eye up through the impressive void.

An illusion of floating piles is realized through cracks and openings around the modern home exterior, which gives the building its name “Floating Walls”.

The visually appealing structure is defined from the densely populated site by sloping white concrete walls that protrude from the front and side. Rich wood cladding looks warm and attractive under the glare of exterior lights.

The toned wood and clear glass elements juxtapose the solid white walls.

Unconventional slices swayed throughout the building to accommodate natural light and exterior views, while maintaining ultimate privacy.

Sun-seeking plants spring from behind the hidden walls of the home, hinting at the nature-centered design that awaits interior.

An impressive front entrance gate makes a smart and lasting first impression.

A layered verandah climbs to the inner front door, surrounded by lush green lawns and full plant beds.

The front entrance is a completely clear and seamless glass box, where the only frame is around the door itself.

Upon entering the apartment, we escape from city life behind a screen of tall tropical plants that filter out sunlight and spy eyes. The “casual” living room behind the ground floor is an elegant arrangement of project furniture with raised yellow and blue accents. A unique glass coffee table is raised by a striking rug. A chic store completes an Eames-style armchair.

Wooden clad feature walls echo the exterior aesthetics of the house. Tanned chairs continue the rich earthy tone to the dining room.

A Buddha statue designates a cult area within the first landscape courtyard project on the ground floor. A temple tree appears from behind the Puja, drawing the eye up through the multi-storey void to a skylight above.

The indoor plant eats sunlight from a large skylight. A glass wall welcomes the sunlight into the neighboring bedroom.

The skylight is positioned directly above the tree-lined courtyard on the ground floor.

On the other side of the living room from the first floor, a modern home office is arranged with a minimalist floating desk.

The glass wall room is decorated with a vibrant contrast of purple red and royal blue accent pieces. Fabric panels are installed to give privacy when needed.

Built-in shelf niches are lined with red cracks.

Each bedroom in the home gets its own unique identity.

Creating a bedroom chair and rug defines a small lounge area within this beautiful bedroom.

Intertwined interior and exterior spaces filter natural light and ventilation.

Upstairs on the second floor is a guest bedroom and a half-open terrace with a kitchen.

A traditional load carrying and counterweight system was used to drastically cantilever a series of 2 ″ thick Sadahalli slabs at a screen wall at the front entrance.

Ground floor plan, including formal and informal lounges, the kitchen, dining room and lounge, and the first of five bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom series stands complete with a bathroom and closet for the homeowner’s parents.

A mezzanine floor plan, including a bedroom suite with a wardrobe and a bathroom.

First floor plan, including the master bedroom, guest bedroom, another children’s bedroom, family lounge area, and study room with balcony.

Second floor plan, including a second guest bedroom with private bathroom, and a large terrace with kitchen.

72 Weirdest Building Designs

If you ever feel that some architects live in their own fantasy land, you are not the only one. The buildings they create can range from majestic to magical, and they are sure to captivate your buttresses, stoic columns, angelic balconies and formidable facades. However, you may sometimes get the idea that some of these art innovators haven’t fully considered some things – like the fact that people actually have to live and work in the built-up buildings.

We have some dreamy and confusing buildings to show you today, dear pandas, so take off your opera glasses, get yourself some popcorn, and let’s go through the cream of the crop of the ‘Bizarre Buildings’ subreddit. Take a look at some of the most beautiful buildings people may have a hard time living in, vote for the ones you enjoyed the most, and let us know which one you would choose as your home in the comments section.

I chatted nicely about architecture with Dr. June Commissioner of Ryerson University. Dr. Komisar, who is a specialist in architectural design, the history and theory of architecture, and design for urban agriculture, told Bored Panda for professionals to seek inspiration from the “wise” ancient Roman writer Vitruvius. “What he said about balancing goods (suitability of the building too needs), firmness (structural integrity) and joy (the aesthetics of the building and its relationship to site and context) still holds true.”

# 2 The Interlace – Singapore

# 3 Cat Shaped Kindergarten, Germany

Dr. Komisar has shown Bored Panda that no matter how good an architect is, they will not be able to be prepared for all possible problems and contingencies. “But understanding the local conditions and evaluating other buildings using the same construction techniques and materials can help avoid problems,” she said.

I was also interested to find out how architects can innovate and create originality when sometimes it seems like every idea has already been made. According to Dr. Komisar, the changes do not have to be something profound. Start small.

# 4 The Evolution Of This Building Can Be Seen In Its Masonry

# 5 Pavilion Of Enlightenment, Thailand

# 6 The National Carpet Museum In Baku, Azerbaijan

“Innovation does not have to be radical, but can be an incremental change that will benefit users and society at large. Today we have a huge opportunity to build sustainable buildings that approach or achieve ‘net zero energy cost. Using local and/or sustainable materials, designing for passive and/or active solar and wind energy, designed for very low energy, and renovating and adapting existing buildings, we can help mitigate climate change. ”

Dr. Komisar continued: “Dealing with this environmental crisis is not only an issue we need to address, but it is also a tremendous opportunity for project innovation. Addressing these concerns will undoubtedly introduce a variety of creative solutions.”

# 8 Tower “Arbre Blanc” by Sou Fujimoto in Montpellier, France

# 9 Giant 16th Century “Colossal” Sculpture In Florence, Italy Has All Rooms Hidden Inside

Architecture is a hard crack. On the one hand, it is a very functional and rational field of action that literally projects the spaces in which we live, work and sleep. On the other hand, it is an artistic expression form on the same level of importance as function. After all, if you intend to build something (anything), why not make it amazing?

So of course it’s up to the architect to solve an engineer’s constant riddle: how do you innovate and create something iconic, while also making sure your building doesn’t cause a stir and denounce it in the news?

# 11 600-year-old Clock Located In Prague Is The World’s Oldest Astrological Clock Still Working!

# 12 Original 1930s Shell Gas Station

No 99 Designs draw attention that buildings should be pioneering, showy, and come out of their surroundings. And that means bending the rules and capturing (at least some) conventions.

Paradoxically, however, the architect is also very aware of the surroundings of the building, using them as a complementary background. You can still have your modern masterpiece if you pay homage to the more traditional surroundings of the building with the details, colors, etc.

And it is in relation to the surroundings that your choice of materials and the way you shape your project comes in – they are deeply expressive decisions that you should consider as soon as you start outlining your ideas for your project.

And always always remember that even though you are creating a work of art, it must be practical. Otherwise, what is meant by architecture, when sculpture would give you the full freedom to express yourself?

The community r / bizarre buildings celebrated its 5th birthday just a few months ago, in March, and it’s strong. Currently, the subreddit has over 131k members and we can see that number growing in the future.

Be sure to visit the community if you enjoyed the photos on this list. Come in for a quick ‘hello, how are you?’ or consider also posting a strange-looking yet utterly amazing building.

“If it’s a bizarre building, it belongs here. No, not pictures of buildings with a bizarre Christmas [look]. We want unique Unicope buildings! “The moderators of ‘Bizarre Buildings’ shared what their online group is all about.

You heard it here, folks – your regular holiday decor bizarre just won’t cut it. You have to go for bizarre. Start the weirdness until eleven, so even Alice thinks she’s still in Wonderland. Just remember that when you innovate, you also have the ability to make a good climate too!
