Creating culinary masterpieces may not be your particular strength, but you’d like it to be after you’ve cast your eyes on this special collection of 40 aesthetic kitchen designs. This gallery of avant-garde kitchens covers almost every interior style on the spectrum. We will visit kitchens with a minimal, clean white aesthetic up to joyous spaces that touch color. We will visit abstract modern kitchen designs, rustic interiors, luxurious marble kitchens and decorative schemes with rich metallic gold accents. We will be introduced to futuristic kitchen designs, large kitchen arrangements with curvy islands, kitchen eaters flowing into open plan living quarters, and those that are inspired by nature.

Clean and serene, this minimalist white kitchen design is visually softened by smooth curves and warm natural wood accented pieces.

Bold and balanced. A unique kitchen pendant light dramatically drops a hanging orb into the center of a balanced walnut and white kitchen fixture. The white light is perfectly contrasted by an insulated walnut volume that is intentionally mounted behind the piece.

Another striking lighting fixture dominates this contemporary kitchen design. Cabinets are subtracted from this arrangement completely to allow the oversized luminaire to have its proper space.

In this simplified kitchen design, a wall of open kitchen shelf provides all the visual interest. By changing the dishes and the ceramics that are displayed there, it is possible to change the whole atmosphere of the kitchen.

Cork stools and a thick wooden dining table evoke a modern rustic aesthetic in this upscale kitchen dining room. A gray marble countertop transforms one end of the wooden table into a functional island with a kitchen sink.

White, bright, and nature kissed. White marble and bright white kitchen units form a luxuriously clean look here, while indoor plants, matching green kitchen stools and emerald green dining chairs add an edifying color.

The Midas kitchen. This taupe kitchen design gets the Midas touch with an amazing metallic gold kitchen back, in addition to a compatible shelf, gold hardware and a coordinated faucet.

Create interesting spaces with curves. Fashion curves, arches and runway motifs are seen everywhere in the indoor scene now, and this well-designed kitchen is no exception.

Another curvy kitchen island, this time with a full runway silhouette and a stone finish.

An all-stone kitchen design creates an appearance of luxury and permanence. This white marble kitchen receives an unexpected shake-up with dark contrasting, unique kitchen pendant lights.

Microcement walls offer more opportunity when it comes to curves in the kitchen. This smooth stucco curves gently away from a wall of open shelf to complete rounded kitchen units.

Create layers of contrasting color with double-walled cabinets. This outer edge of cool blue-gray kitchen cabinets effectively frames an inner core of silver-plated stainless steel wall units and an equally reflective backsplash.

It’s all about the arch in this elegant space, where a gorgeous marble backsplash extends to the ceiling line.

This arched doorway leads into an airy kitchen with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Wooden bar stools echo the shape of the doorway.

This marble kitchen back creates an understated background with a sparse vein. A white kitchen island maintains the clean look, along with an all-white sculptural hanging light.

Sharp corners design a futuristic kitchen island. Notice how this geometric island is created to disappear into the sloping window frame to create an exaggerated perspective.

On the other hand, curves can also present a futuristic appeal.

A patinated copper kitchen back gives this room a wonderfully aged appeal, like good wine.

A colorful clash of coral and water blue makes for a lively scene.

A solid red kitchen and color-matching backsplash make a punk, color-blocked statement.

Atmospheric lighting changes room. Hang a grand chandelier over a kitchen dining room to take the whole ensemble luxurious.

Template and more template. Just because you’ve drawn tiles on the floor doesn’t mean you have to go simply on the walls. Have the courage to go all out.

Spending time in the kitchen doesn’t mean you have to work with a hot oven. Set up a hammock across a solar kitchen window as a place to dream and drool over those recipe books, or just enjoy the delicious aromas of what’s already cooking.

Connect with Mother Nature. This natural stone kitchen island feels one with a glorious view from the outside. A window edge to edge maximizes the peace link.

This black stone kitchen island offers stronger access.

Some kitchens are only made for entertainment. Sprinkle the champagne and the canapés served on a bright champagne kitchen island, among bright accessories.

Are you looking for something extraordinary? Think bright pink … And purple.

Alternatively, pastel shades make a more delicate choice for a pink kitchen.

Pair pink kitchen accessories with mint and yellow elements to create a sweet combination.

Wood-clad and rustic, this gray wood-clad island has an excellent handmade aesthetic.

Dark and mysterious. Shady, dark gray kitchens benefit from colorful infusions, like this attractive installation of teal light. See more inspiration for gray kitchens.

Another approach to the colorful spicy gray kitchen approach, this time with urgent orange interruptions.

Hot copper units meet a cool gray table in this sharp modern kitchen design. Bright wall light competes with the metallic luster.

Wall color can change everything. Imagine this same space with a gallery white background and you will experience a completely different atmosphere of the extreme black island and mid-green main units. Unique wall color choices inject character and personality.

Kitchen stools are another ideal place to establish individuality. They can also be changed easily and relatively cheaply compared to equipped units.

If you’re on this color journey for the long haul, why not invest in some colorful appliances like this red oven and yellow Smeg fridge?

Clean, creamy and full of sunshine, this light and dreamy kitchen looks like a place to bake cookies.

Abstract and original. Nested volumes turn a two-part kitchen island into a piece of sculptural modern art.

The dining room is arranged in an open plan with the kitchen. A kitchen island serves as a second, more casual dining area.

Inside the home library, custom bookshelves are stacked from floor to ceiling and edge to edge. LED strips illuminate the tomes to aid selection and to provide a cosmetically pleasing function. In front of the bookcases, a modular sofa and a small side table furnish a comfortable reading area.

Two chairs and a side table make up a second seat in the library window.

Elegant wall panels and a low upholstered bed give the bedroom a quiet Japanese-style aesthetic.

A floating vanity table neatly fills a narrow bedroom alcove.

The cozy atmosphere around the home is set by opportune moments of golden light.

A round coffee table and round sofa design offset the sharp edges of the stone fireplace chest.

Stone sculpture makes fascinating artwork.

Next to the fireplace, designer lounge chair and a Sampei a floor lamp, designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese, makes for a comfortable read.

A black kitchen faucet interrupts its clean white stone surroundings.

A small courtyard moment was formed inside the stairs. The lush greenery seems lively against the clear white stone staircase.

Moving up into the master bedroom, a white rock bulletin board wall dominates the space. A small wooden bedside table sits on either side of a dark charcoal padded bed.

An indoor tree makes a dreamy addition to the bedroom legroom, where a modern white chair and contemporary floor lamp are grouped together with a striking round coffee table.

A floating vanity table is furnished on the opposite side of the bedroom, next to a free-standing bookshelf.

The bathroom is a large space with a built-in toilet.

A modern vanity chair completes the dressing room, which is smoothly integrated into a double washroom.

A shapeless stone bathtub is set up at the garden view. Indoor plants bring a touch of nature into the bathroom.

A wall-mounted toilet and bidet make the bathroom clear, which preserves the feeling of open space in the room and facilitates cleaning.

Natural wood and indoor plants instill a sense of serenity into modern living spaces. This inspiring union of Mother Nature helps us to separate ourselves a little from the plastic contemporary world and to revitalize our connection with the Earth. Even if only in small doses, green and wood tone infusions add softness to modern decorating patterns, as well as an interesting texture and vibrant reminiscence of life thriving outside man-made walls. Join us as we tour three inspiring modern home interiors that beautifully embody plants and lumber into elegant living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and perhaps the most beautiful laundry room in the world!

Located in Tbilisi, the ancient capital of Georgia, this modern apartment interior is colored in blue, yellow, wood tones and vivid green accents. A textured living room rug lies a comfortable base under a rectangular coffee table with storage.

The living room is open to the home entrance to allow daylight to pass through.

Lattice wooden panels on the TV wall draw the eye vertically to meet a large modern chandelier. Mature indoor plants perfectly complement the rich timber wall.

Wide wooden floors are placed diagonally across the living room and hallway to increase the feel of space.

The L-shaped sofa layout subtly separates the living room from the dining room. A wall of bookshelves makes a lively backdrop for the dining room.

A rotating unit proudly displays a record player, a vinyl collection and a poster by John Lennon in the home of this music lover.

The striking light feature that extends the entire length of the dining room is the Palm hanging light designed by Antoni Arola for Vibia.

More books and indoor plants are lining the way into a glass wall design. LED ribbons underline the floating bookshelves and wooden lath wall panels. A stone fireplace attractively trims the base of the feature wall.

Soothing duck egg cabinets are combined with warm wood-toned equivalents. A central kitchen island includes a breakfast bar around two of its edges. Huge windows bring tranquil tree-lined views.

Black and white tiles add a stark contrast and pattern to the modern kitchen decor.

Curio cabinets flank a kitchen TV wall that is clad in duck-painted lath wall panels.

Ceiling shelves hold glassware and teapots over the kitchen island and a breakfast bar.

Louvre doors generously enclose a size-sized entrance closet.

Our second natural wood and plant inhabited interior space is accentuated by soothing beige and rich cognac elements.

Unique ceiling fans cool the open plan living area, where the sofa faces directly to the dining room and kitchen.

A round rug further defines the sitting room with a subtle beige fabric.

The dining table joins the edge of a short kitchen peninsula to create a simplified solution.

Monochrome tiles add a bold black and white pattern under the kitchen dining room that cheerfully differentiates it from the rest of the gray concrete living room.

A wooden lath section draws attention to a built-in bench seat in the home entrance, where wall hooks hold bags from the floor and keep coats tidy.

A small, romantic courtyard area is furnished with a set of bamboo and French wheelchairs. This Nordic meets traditional Moroccan design is the Nomado lounge chair, by NORR11.

Our final modern home design contains perhaps one of the most beautiful washrooms in the world … But don’t skip it yet, as the living room has its own set of inspiring features, such as this deliciously curved sofa and elegant light-penetrating. a room divider that intersects the stairs.

A large rug carries a circular motif that completes the round silhouette of the sofa.

Custom shelf units line the cool white TV wall with rich wood grain.

A wonderful courtyard peacefully separates the TV room from the kitchen dining room.

The edges of the picturesque courtyard are raised like a courtyard, making a platform for a quiet reading room on one side, and for kitchen bar stools on the other.

A beautiful tree climbs through the double high void.

Bright white cabinets keep the kitchen layout feeling open and spacious at head-height, while base cabinets add visual weight in dark wood grain.

The kitchen layout comfortably encompasses the dining room in its center.

Attractively lit wine cellars complete the final wall of the kitchen layout.

With the courtyard tree soaring up close, the indoor dining room has a refreshing appeal.

Above, black metal shutters form a checkerboard pattern across the courtyard skylight.

Black metal railings curve around the landing area and along the light-filled staircase.

An airy upstairs lounge is decorated in a loose beige palette. Natural jute round carpet pools under a round black coffee table.

A small, potted tree stretches the greenery of the courtyard.

Black steel frames sharply line a glass wall and a door that leads to an upstairs courtyard.

The upstairs “yard” is actually a wonderful laundry room, complete with a stacked washing machine and dryer comb, washbasins, and well-organized utility storage.

A swinging chair swings over a grassy lawn and stepping stones, overlooking a beautiful vertical garden. The quiet sounds of a water feature stifle the drone of the washing machine. With a fabulous space like this, we would never complain about washing again!

51 Gold Kitchens With Tips And Accessories

.

The gold kitchen decorating trend is regularly tamed with small gold kitchen accessories, upgraded hardware, or maybe a gold kitchen appliance or two. However, if you really want this high-end trend to surpass luxury and a bold personality, you have to make it bigger. Gold kitchen cabinets can be used for a full Midas touch, or just a few accent units can achieve the required luxurious fullness of the aesthetic without becoming overwhelming in the space. This collection of 51 golden kitchens, fabulous accessories, hanging lights and bar stools shows just how to achieve the luxurious metal mood of the moment without appearing even a little chic.

A splash of gold, or rather a splash of gold, may be enough to make your kitchen hit a trend. Gold backsplash can be rebuilt into an existing modern kitchen design and will look right at home when equipped with some upgraded gold kitchen hardware.

Unique and ready to mix. A single row of gold kitchen cabinets mixes with a gold-trimmed island in this design. See more of this luxurious gold and stone enriched home interior here.

Golden and bright, this linear hanging light adds shine and illumination over a brushed golden kitchen island with a smooth travertine contraction. A gold kitchen shelf and matching metal disclosure draw attention to the kitchen sink.

Instead of separating your golden kitchen with an additional colored cabinet front, break the run with a contrasting texture like this smooth and wide kitchen layout.

Royal gold meets royal blue. Multi-Lite hangers of Gubi and three golden kitchen stools make a rich union with a solid blue kitchen island in this chic concept.

Another set of Multi-Lite suspensions from Gubi form a golden trio over an integrated dining peninsula.

Cut over the rest. This sophisticated black and gold kitchen design features a dramatic, asymmetrical cut in a stunning glossy finish.

Golden and light. The golden core of this kitchen shines like the sun in the center of the solar system. Golden wall lamps and a golden kitchen faucet sprinkle gold around its orbit.

Consider perfecting. Metal surfaces look best when they reflect light, so this 3D tile background looks sublime with its light-capturing looks.

Shine out of the shadows. This high bright golden kitchen island is positioned perfectly to capture the natural light of a neighboring window, which draws it out of the shadows of an otherwise black kitchen scheme.

Marvel at mixed metals. Gold and silver are brilliant examples of how mixed metals make a luxurious combination. Introduce elements of a natural wood tone to warm up the look.

Now geometry. This fabulous kitchen island design is shaped with white marble and metallic gold that come together in a distinct geometric cut.

Gold and grand. An oversized golden sputnik chandelier makes a great companion for a gilded kitchen island.

In this golden kitchen design, a smaller modern chandelier has been doubled to create the required wow factor over a food peninsula.

Life for gold. Trailed gold unit fronts are complemented by wire-framed kitchen stools in this one, making the texture of the scheme as dominant as the gold accent color.

Inda is a superhero. These spectacular stools are the Serous Bar Stool designed by Michael Sean Stolworthy, which were featured in Marvel Studio’s Black Panther movie.

From the happiest place on earth to your kitchen, this golden statue of Mickey Mouse adds a fun element to a serious black and gold kitchen layout.

Combine golden kitchen accents with other striking colors without causing a collision. White stripes will create a wide and airy break between bold accents, while natural wood grain brings earthy balance. In this design, a trio of low-hanging kitchen pendant lights delicately combine the contrasting elements.

In this example, a red pink kitchen island is combined with a green striped backsplash and bright gold cabinets to make a colorful fusion. This is the Home of Alex McCabe, founder of the bright and colorful household goods brand, Kip & Co.

Another boost of pink accents, this dark pink and terraced kitchen decor is crowned with gold orb pendants and a golden kitchen faucet.

Green and golden glory. Gold box fronts add a glorious accent stripe over muted green kitchen cabinets. Leaf print kitchen linens or upholstered dining chairs will encourage a complementary botanical aesthetic.

Graceful gray and gold. Painted gray kitchen with gold hardware speaks of classic elegance. Add a gold extraction unit for extra wow factor.

This time, a golden kitchen utensil unit is the showcase for pistachio green and natural wood kitchen decor.

Duplicate the extractor, duplicate the effect.

Gold fixtures and vertical garden walls. For uninterrupted gold cooking, integrated gold appliances will help you achieve one solid expanse. Add interest to the end of your kitchen with a narrow vertical garden strip where abundant green leaves will grow invigorating contrast and texture.

Rich and rustic. Build a rustic frame around a shiny gold kitchen with exposed masonry. Maximize the effect by bleeding gold cabinet fronts into a compatible divine backsplash to fill a solid core.

Solid gold bars. This island bar is made up of one solid gold volume and a cantilevered wooden counter for contrast.

If you’re not ready for the Midas touch en masse, you can settle for a collection of small gold kitchen accessories, new pendant lights and upgrade your kitchen stools to nod to the fashionable metal aesthetic.

Time for champagne. Satin champagne earrings make a more delicate statement than their yellow gold counterparts.

All around glamor. When you go with a gold theme, that doesn’t mean every other aspect of the palette has to fade by comparison. This adventurous design introduces jade green masonry, dominant pink elements, and a brilliant crystal chandelier into the mix.

Consider reflections. When working with metals, it is also necessary to consider what will be reflected in the finish. This golden kitchen island beautifully reflects a chevron floor treatment that makes the floor expanse look even bigger. On the other hand, it would be undesirable to duplicate the presence of trash or damage to the floor, so use reflective endings wisely.

The ultimate brilliance. Orange walls combined with gold kitchen cabinets make for a warm mix that seems to shine.

Champagne curves. This curvy kitchen island base looks just too tempting to touch under its cool champagne finish. Champagne gold ornaments frame fashionable runways across the base closets at the back.

Create tonal interest within a white kitchen with a deep golden island accent. Enlarge the theme with a golden kitchen faucet and coordinating accessories.

Give a soulless modern home some character with an antique golden and gray kitchen.

Sage green and golden dream. There is something so dreamy about the combination of gold and green shades. Add black accent pieces to anchor the look in the modern arena.

The splendor of the art decorative spirit. Gold ornaments do wonders within an art-deco inspired kitchen design. See more inspiration for art deco-style interiors here.

Give your kitchen a gold crown, or at least a gold ceiling treatment.

This green and gold beauty enhances the saturation with a much brighter shade of cabinet.

Create glamor with a custom gold motif, like this chic cabinet trim that accommodates the slope of the stairs that go up.

A golden kitchen island gives an opportunity to brighten a dark gray and black kitchen with a special touch.

Another gray and black kitchen with a golden kitchen island but this time with an added row of gold floating base units to add to the luxurious luster of the space.

Emerald green and gold accents provide jewelry for a primarily white luster and marble ensemble.

Small additions add a lot. Razilely thin gold desks, gold shelf corner, faucet and matching hanging lights combine to create a brilliant result.

Dripping for gold. This unique kitchen design is shaped by a multi-level desktop that seems to overwhelm the sides of the kitchen island into molten drops of liquid gold.

Exploration of the traditional. Create classic details with well-placed gilding.

The future is golden. Gold has been used over the centuries to impress and the future looks no different. Shine a futuristic kitchen design with an avant-garde gold finish.

A latte with a shot of espresso and golden shaves to leave, please

Removable furniture offers the opportunity for a temporary infusion of gold into your room. See more of this home here.

Gold with a plum tip and a marble fusion of complementary color.

Raise the heat with red and gold paringo, landed by interludes of natural wood tone.

Kitchen with the living room – how to choose accessories?

One of the long-lasting trends in interior design is connecting the kitchen with the living room. Designers focus on opening the living space in such a way as to visually enlarge it and give households the impression of space even in small rooms. This solution has its advantages – it brings the household members closer together and makes them stay in the same room more often.

How to arrange a kitchen connected to the living room? It is worth ensuring that the style is consistent so that the dining, kitchen and sitting areas form a unity, rather than look like separate rooms. How to achieve it? By choosing the right colors, accessories and equipment.

How to choose colors for an open kitchen?

When we decide to open the kitchen to the living room to gain additional space and optically enlarge it, the obvious choice may be white or very bright walls. They give the impression of even greater spaciousness, brightness and lightness. However, such colors can be hardly practical in places where we prepare and eat meals. So let’s use the growing popularity of gray then. Gray walls do not overwhelm the interior and are so versatile that they can be combined with dark and light furniture. They are suitable for both kitchen and leisure spaces and fit many styles. They also come in a rich palette of shades – both warm and cold, so everyone can choose the gray that suits them best.

What about dark and bright colors? You should act a little more carefully here. If the interior obtained from the combination of the living room and kitchen space is still small, then black, red, burgundy, brown or navy blue will overwhelm them and optically reduce. The same will happen when our open kitchen open to the living room is poorly lit. Then the dark colors will make it seem bleak, sad and tight. Dark and expressive shades can, however, be successfully used as a color accent combining spaces with different functionality. In the kitchen zone, such a wall will contrast nicely with bright tiles and furniture, while remaining functional. In the leisure sphere, it will add mood to the place where we sit in the evenings. If the remaining walls are still bright, it will not overwhelm the space, it will only diversify it. It will pay attention and add multidimensionality and character.

And what if we want to apply a dark color on all walls? Then you should opt for bright furniture and as many reflective accessories as possible – metallic, crystal and mirror. They will balance dark wallpapers or paint used on the walls.

Harmony of colors and textures does not have to mean boredom – color accents and patterns

Combining the living room with the kitchen, you need to keep the same style and color in each of the room zones. However, such harmony does not necessarily mean boredom and monotony. The interior can be varied and at the same time mixed if you use:

• strong color accent on the walls and accessories

If you choose one accent color, you don’t have to use identical shades everywhere. Pillows and curtains may differ slightly. A slight difference in shades will give the interior depth and originality. However, it is important to keep the same tones – warm or cold. This will keep the consistency and impression of harmony.

You can also use two different accent colors, both similar to each other (e.g. green and yellow), and contrasting with each other (e.g. blue and red). However, remember that choosing three or more colors can give the impression of disorder and a smaller space (especially in a small room).

When choosing accessories in accent colors, pay attention not only to the seating and dining area but also to the kitchen itself. Here, it is more difficult to diversify the space with colors, because fewer textile accessories are used. However, you can always match the outstanding color of the tiles or good quality handles for kitchen cupboards. It is also worth buying household appliances, e.g. a toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker in the same accent color that matches the curtains, pillows, and decorations in the seating and dining area. This will connect all the zones of the room with each other and make them form a harmonious whole. The effect will be the most aesthetic if the equipment will come from the same series.

• patterns

If you want to mix space in the kitchen with the living room, you can also apply a variety of designs. Recently, not only Moroccan wallpapers and tiles are popular, but also graphic, floral and leaf motifs. Furniture handles with ceramics are very suitable for such patterns. Ceramics used in ceramic handles that we offer in our store are of the highest quality and some models have floral designs.

Why choose such accents? Patterns can effectively enlarge the space, e.g. horizontal stripes will optically lengthen the wall, and small patterns such as dots and zigzags will visually enlarge the space and deepen the impression of multidimensionality. In turn, floral elements add romance, coziness, and lightness to the room.

• metallic additions and distinctive textures

Connecting different zones in a kitchen open to the living room does not necessarily have to be done using color. You can keep the room monochrome and clean by placing only decorations and accessories that are metallic and with a mirror effect. Such details shine nicely and guarantee the effect of visual enlargement of space and brightening of the interior. More crystal and decorative accessories will work in glamour arrangements. These types of arrangements look great if you use crystal furniture knobs.

In turn, interiors with a raw and metallic appearance can be emphasized by modern bar handles. This type of furniture handles come in a glossy version: gold, copper and chrome, and matte: black and brass. Chrome and shiny elements can also be easily duplicated in the kitchen area itself (e.g. by finishing cabinets and household appliances).

You will also get similar consistency thanks to interesting textures. Not only will they diversify the monotonous colors, but they also give depth and multi-dimensionality to the entire room. Convex diamond-style patterns (consisting of small triangles that reflect light differently at different angles) are currently particularly popular. They look extravagant and modern. They fit both harsh and glamorous interiors. The diamond texture motif can be used, for example, on some kitchen cabinet fronts and duplicated on furniture in the living room or in accessories such as vases, photo frames, and lampshades.

When planning the interior and combining the functions of many rooms, remember to stick to a consistent style and one dominant theme. Try to avoid the impression of clutter and exaggeration. In the kitchen and living room, you spend the most time during the day, so these spaces should please the eye and be completely comfortable for you.
