A sense of serenity pervades us as we tiptoe through this set of luxurious Chinese-style villa interiors, each open and spacious and decorated in soothing laconic palettes and exquisite details. Displayed by ZHBB Vizio, these spaces are reminiscent of the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan, the picturesque lands that lie south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. These peaceful riverside memories inspire water-filled courtyards, where reflective pools surround majestic trees, and colorful koi fish swim. Light living rooms and spacious dining rooms provide high-end places in which large groups of friends and extended family can gather and socialize until the evening. Traditional teahouses respect a long-lasting ceremony.

The light-filled living room has an entire glass wall that overlooks a peaceful courtyard design and a separate wing of the villa that holds the parking lot.

To the right of the open plan hall, a large and imposing spiral staircase twists into contrasting black and white finishes.

Light cream sofas and counterbalanced black accent chairs make a visually interesting combination.

Recessed track lights cross the ceiling to distribute even lighting throughout the large living space.

A skylight feeds a majestic tree with natural daylight. Rocks complete the sculptural courtyard layout.

Black grooved wall panels go up along with a modern fireplace to camouflage its purpose when not in use,

A wall of wooden grain panels creates a visually warming decorative function that is atmospherically illuminated around its edges by embedded ribbons of LED light.

The illuminated wall feature denies the need for wall lamps and provides even more diffusion of brightness.

A wooden effect wall panel envelops other aspects of the room as well, creating continuity and coherence

Alcoves are brightly lit to ward off the shadows.

A traditional prayer table is erected in the corner of the settlement, where a Ganesha statue sits among religious texts.

A Buddha statue makes a meditative ornament to one of the coffee tables.

The courtyard design that lies outside the living room window is a water-filled space that can be bypassed by modern, linear stepping stones. A pebble bed makes a solid home for a small but elegant tree where it can be soaked in sunshine.

Under the shady overhang of a second-floor balcony, an outdoor seat was created on a wide wooden deck. Outdoor chairs gather around a luxurious marble coffee table to form a conversational arrangement.

As the sun moves, the deck becomes a heated area in which to take outdoor tea.

A modern locker room lies under the shade of the upper balcony.

The courtyard provides a beautiful view and an influx of natural light to the rooms of the home that surround it. It also creates an outdoor connection that encourages homeowners into the fresh air while touring their homes.

Beneath the undulating surface of the reflective pool, colorful koi fish swim and thrive.

The pool holds a mirror to the surrounding architecture.

A rock wall delivers a rough, textured feature behind the small tree.

A manjushri statue looks contemplative at the water’s edge.

The parking garage is a well-decorated space, clad in a wooden lath wall panel and floored with a smooth, polished concrete slab.

Returning to the living room, we take a closer look at the spiral staircase that rises from a high-gloss black platform. A white marble wall rises behind it to absorb a contrasting pattern.

A spherical sculpture sways on the polished black base of the staircase, with a magical ring of light making a bright halo around it.

The gold sculpture interacts with the curve of the curving staircase to complete an amazing sight.

Low-brightness LED strip lights highlight every step of the spiral staircase, providing a safe passage from top to bottom.

Solid railings are clad in rich wood milk to create a striking finish.

The curved main theme continues inside the kitchen dining room, where a niched light feature shows a circular outline over a round dining table. Compatible wall lighting expands the round aesthetic.

A light dining room hanging light low hangs to the round wooden dining table, which has a luxurious white marble inlay.

Cream-packed dining chairs accommodate up to sixteen people at the dinner party.

Just outside the dining room window, a second water-filled courtyard provides relaxing sights and sounds with a mini-waterfall feature. Koi fish swim under the concentric ripples that radiate to a path of stepping stones.

Behind the formal dining room, much of the kitchen has a hidden presence. Kitchen storage and integrated appliances are locked behind slab-fronted, unobstructed cabinet doors. Only the kitchen island is obvious to the eye, which contains the kitchen sink and the kitchen counter.

The kitchen island is fused with a random breakfast table at one end that seats six.

A simple ornament adds a brief flash of greenery to the white table.

The kitchen utensil unit rises directly from the island, allowing it to be completely removed from view when not in use.

Indoor plants and statues make attractive vignettes on each side of the room.

Abstract artwork hangs moments of intrigue along the corridors of the home.

Another art is inserted into the stucco itself.

A bright tea room is set up at one end of the large open plan living space, separated from the main hall by the dominant staircase design, and partly by a darkened glass partition.

The slim table design has a light presence in the space, while a stone tiled feature wall is more dominant. A red chair adds a bold color.

This modernly decorated room leads to a more traditional setting.

A decorative screen marks a visual stop between the two areas.

A courtyard brings sunlight flowing through.

The decoration is on the ground a palette of rich browns and a dark wooden tone. A paper globe hanging light places a bright white core in the center of the scheme.

A sealed wooden bumper shows beautiful craftsmanship.

Light screens are used everywhere to subtly mark transitions of space, while allowing the eye to wander through and allowing natural light to be shared.

In this traditional tea room design, a low, rustic bench is paired with simple floor cushions. A picturesque mural paints a set of wall panels behind.

Recessed perimeter lights give the room a soft and special essence.

A paper floor lamp draws attention to the attractive wall treatment.

Bowls, rustic wooden trays and a ceramic vase provide the traditional tea table with decorative elements.

A botanical display of red flame is reminiscent of Jiangnan’s red flowers and beautiful sunrise in spring.

The rustic and natural elements give the space a terrestrial, outdoor feel.

With the wall screens turned on, the tea room joins with the neighboring room.

Tetsubin teapot is hung from the ceiling.

The decorative screens are lightly transparent, which gives them a wonderfully light essence in the space, whether turned to be open or fully closed.

Feathers of white pampas grass make a mesmerizing display under a focused lighting installation.

The pale grass is reflected in an inky black soil.

Black walls and a black ceiling seal any external light sources.

Inside the master bedroom, a unique headboard design divides the bed from a wardrobe behind it.

The bed is located to concentrate on the window sill, which is filtered through pure white wills.

A sculptural bedroom chair shines in the sunlight with a shiny golden finish.

A traditional Chinese scene plays across the back of the bespoke headboard design.

In this double bedroom design, a jade green blanket colors a traditionally decorated space.

A floral feature wall adds an elegant bloom behind the headboard.

Opposite the bed, a wall of glass units shows a collection of designer handbags.

Black side tables contain chic lamps for night reading.

A modern bedroom chair and a contemporary wire frame unit complete the furniture configuration.

A unique glass vase shows a minimalist botanical arrangement.

A glass staircase connects two furnished balcony areas.

An outdoor dining room and seating furnish the roof.

Rustic benches give the space character.

Modern Chinese Minimalist home designs With Super Stylish Twists

These modern Chinese minimalist home designs have characteristic elegant twists. A unique modern staircase dominates one open plan dwelling, ascending to the second floor as a stack of sliding volumes with storage inserted into the base. Unusual sofas dot minimalist living spaces and chic home workspaces are framed with custom desk designs. There’s even a children’s bedroom that delivers an extraordinarily fun factor with a crazy new bed and a mural. Throughout our collection of home excursions, we will find open and interesting layout concepts that create clear zoning, spacious rooms that are covered with elegant, custom storage units, and exceptional bathrooms with uneven floors.

Our first modern Chinese minimalist interior is a warm white space with large windows. Storage units line the wall with doors inspired by Shoji screens – because although the Shoji is accepted as a Japanese domestic feature, they were born from China’s folding screens. Two food hangers look like inverted Chinese oil-paper umbrellas.

A modern sofa divides the spacious living room into two parts, the dining room and the living room.

The living room stands open to the entrance, where the wooden laminate floor is turned out for a more durable, easy-to-clean stone tile.

A round decorative wall mirror makes a large and light-reflecting wall in the compact entrance space. The mirror has an integrated entrance shelf, where a cane diffuser emits a welcoming scent at the front door.

Cushions on the sectional sofa remain subdued in color-coordinated white upholstery.

The rectangular wooden coffee table has a traditional Chinese silhouette, loosely reminiscent of the multi-level roof overhangs of Chinese tower architecture.

Four small benches are inspired by antique rustic milking stools.

A wide doorway gives entrance into the kitchen, where a single row of wooden cupboards and a white appliance housing unit form a minimalist design. A luxurious stone back transforms into a single open shelf above the kitchen sink and gas stove.

The wearable stone tile flooring we first saw in the home entrance is repeated here in the kitchen, where it will withstand the punishment of dropped pans and food spills.

In the bedroom, a modern platform bed is positioned exactly in the center to create a perfectly symmetrical arrangement between two closet doors.

The doors of the closet are a wooden lath design that allows natural light to be divided between the dressing area and the sleeping space. Wood grain panels make a soft trapdoor design behind the double bed.

The wooden cupboard doors slide neatly into the head of the bed to open an entrance into the wardrobe.

The lath design also allows for a preview of the clothing collection that lies inside the dressing room. Illuminated shelves and clothing rails highlight the necessarily organized designer clothing.

In the walk-in closet, built-in drawers make storage for sweaters, shirts, accessories and small.

Behind the wooden plank wall, a vanity chair pulls up at a floating dressing table. A large, round vanity mirror is illuminated around its edge, making it stand out brightly against the wood grain.

An illuminated bathroom mirror is placed over a double wash vanity unit that illuminates a neat alcove. The shallow alcove was formed with matching bathrooms that build a peaceful balance.

A fresh towel shelf cuts under the unique bathroom sink and through the side storage units, forming a custom finish.

A frameless glass shower retains the generous proportions of the bathroom.

One section of the bathroom floor is raised to accommodate plumbing under the bathtub. The raised platform also presents a sense of ceremony around the tub, increasing relaxation time.

Our second modern Chinese home is an artful home. The modern living room combo features a terrarium that is sprinkled with Mother Nature’s own elegant artwork.

White-on-white decoration creates a calm atmosphere. Even the Samsung Serif TV fits into the room palette with a clear white frame.

A striped living room rug adds a moment of pattern and personality to the minimalist white living room. Stainless steel coffee table sets a cool, sharp metallic contrast on the soft, inviting rug. At the other end of the living room, a glass cabinet shows colorful Bearbrick art.

The dining table is a cantilevered design that protrudes from a structural wall between the kitchen and the hallway.

The hob is hidden around a corner, out of sight of the dining room. A modern, minimalist fruit bowl makes a low-profile centerpiece on the wall-mounted dining table.

A dividing wall of storage units separates the living room from a double workshop. KAWS artwork is proudly displayed in a glass container inside the home office.

A zebra print rug draws attention to a narrow, light-filled reading song that sits next to the living room.

The light art looks like James Turrell.

Green accents brightly color this Chinese minimalist salon design. Behind the sofa, a circular green acrylic screen sets a curved shape that is echoed in a large round rug, and a uniquely curved sofa design.

An unusual floor lamp adds an extreme black accent in front of the large living room window.

A small side table punctuates the end of the sofa with another nod to Chinese tower architecture.

Opposite the twisted sofa, the TV is retracted into its stand.

There is a second striking green acrylic disc that protrudes from the ceiling, above a modern case chair.

A curved folded screen distorts light from the window.

The foot of the modern staircase design is marked by a brightly burning light tube.

In the master bedroom, wooden wardrobes warm up the mostly white decor.

Bright white curves ripple through the headboard. Mural art calls in the green accent color

In the second double bedroom, a bright green stripe cuts through a tailored headboard design.

An angular, two-sided sofa design runs through the center of this seating area, offering multi-directional seating. An appearance floor lamp adds extra style to the unique layout.

An angled armchair matches the modern sofa design.

Instead of an unattractive black TV screen, a projector screen unfolds in front of the white living room wall. A simple bench emphasizes the retractable screen.

In one corner of the living room, an elegant home workshop is located next to the large window. Custom desk design gets a colorful finish with shades of Prussian blue and British racing green. An indoor plant complements the vibrant aesthetic.

The home office by the window also serves as a bright piano room. Built-in shelves hold music books close at hand.

There is also a convenient bookcase located within the basic gait of a unique modern staircase design that climbs to the top floor of the home like a stack of extruded volumes.

Recessed LED lights cut luminaires into the warm white walls, where natural stone details build palpable moments.

3D embossed wall art adds to the aesthetic texture of the home.

Unique finishes wrap around the modern sofa, offering practical surfaces for drinks, snacks and reading.

A tower of wall shelves neatly occupies the alcove behind the unique lounge chair. Their natural wood grain finish connects smoothly with a bright oak floor.

The open layout flows straight into a spacious kitchen and dining area. Central kitchen island marks the change in function.

Three muted green dining chairs add some color to the formal dining room. A contemporary gray dining table brings an unusual silhouette.

A simple glass vase of botany creates an understated centerpiece.

Kitchen basements carry a modern sleek, slab aesthetic, while the island units are attractively framed. Two separate sinks serve the preparation areas, each with a different extra faucet design.

Glass blocks form a musharabi screen at the top of the stairs, which brings natural light flowing over the steps and the landing.

A modern bedside table lamp provides a focused reading light on both sides of the cushions.

The kids ’bedroom is a fabulously fun design with a pink bunny-themed crib. Turquoise decorative accents make a cool contrast.

A palm tree mural adds a tropical vibe behind the new bed. Red-lit liter units line the headboard.

A golden bedside table lamp joins the rabbit-themed bedroom scheme with beautiful rabbit ears.

Our final modern Chinese minimalist home design is a slightly smaller space. Partition floor and built-in benches provide additional interest and helpful zoning.

Houndstooth print split cushions and matching accent throw put bold black and white accents across a small beige sofa.

A projection screen falls in front of built-in storage units that float lightly off the floor. Their stunning wall design keeps floor space clear to visually increase the proportions of the living room.

Indoor plants bring the uplifting spirit of the outdoor.

Behind the living room sofa, an elegant home office has custom-made furniture and a modern desk design.

Revega artwork is supported on a long media shelf that spans the length of the living room.

Sensitive white units give the kitchen a fresh and clean look.

White tables brightly reflect natural daylight.

Inside the bedroom, a wooden lath accent wall is clamped between floating wall units to make a custom trap wall.

The padded platform bed sets a contrasting gray accent.

Pale wise drapes frame the large bedroom window.

The final bedroom contains another run of floating white storage units, along with a split level floor that can serve as a bed base if the need arises.

A floating desk is built on the wooden wall panel, making one continuous wooden border around the room.

A wooden desk chair peacefully blends in with the matching background.

The bathroom doubles as a laundry. A stacked washing machine and dryer fit neatly into the corner of the space, leaving plenty of room for a modern vanity unit and superb shower.

Six Uniquely Stylish Modern Asian Home Interiors

Uniquely elegant contemporary Asian decor forms this collection of attractive home projects, cleverly pictured by Lan Hen. Join us as we get a little inspired by a total of six different home tours with a special advantage. These creative interiors feature open-plan living spaces with elegant kitchen and dining combos, peaceful modern bedroom layouts with modern twists, a choice of prominent statement furniture and a set of tailored storage ideas to light up. Minimalist aesthetics leave all arrangements clean and uncomplicated, while unusual silhouettes add abundant interest and intrigue to keep the eye moving and the imagination engaged.

A tailored bar was formed around a central retaining wall in the living room of our first outstanding home design. A backlit wall unit stores drinking glasses under a mild atmospheric brightness. Two unique modern bar stools give the shady lodge a projecting edge.

Hand-woven cane wheelchairs, inspired by Pierre Jeanneret’s Kangaroo Chair, add an iconic design element to the comfortable lounge area.

The seats on the opposite wall are built in bench design. The microcement bench fuses into a window seat and runs up to meet the concrete staircase project. Across the room, a cantilevered dining table is attached under the bar.

The modern staircase design cuts a sharp silhouette from the calm gray background.

In the home workspace, a tailored desk is thinly threaded across a huge window. The floor changes from polished concrete to a wood-clad platform, differentiating the desk area from a music stage.

When we enter the bedroom, we can see directly into a clear, open suit design.

A floor bed is located high on a two-story floor that is drastically illuminated by a ribbon of LED light.

Artwork forms a cultural scene.

As we enter the second home tour, our attention is immediately caught by Swing side chair by Frank Gehry for Vitra.

The Wiggle chair joins an attractive combination of lounge furniture, including a deeply cushioned sofa design, a striking black armchair and a monolithic marble coffee table.

Indoor plants add flashes of color to the peaceful neutral color scheme.

A wall of fully equipped closets fills the back of the living room with an abundance of storage options. The neighboring kitchen area continues the elegant white, handle-free, aesthetic unit.

A custom oak desk inserts a tight niche.

A microcrete counter and an oak drawer build a chic dining peninsula, accompanied by complementary two-tone kitchen bar stools.

The next home tour begins with a striking curved sofa design that encompasses a set of contrasting black and white nesting coffee tables.

A two-story floor creates a high entrance from the front door into the living space.

A canal tufted upholstered bed forms the main event within the minimalist bedroom layout. Two different bedside tables and a single wall light complete the asymmetrical composition of the bed frame.

On the opposite side of the bedroom, a unique makeup table is paired with an unusual pedestal vanity stool.

In the second bedroom layout, a low shelf frames the space around the bed and cuts two tailored closets. A low hanging bedroom lamp serves the bed.

A ground brown accent wall gives a warm color in the bright home interior.

A tufted sofa backs up onto the kitchen island in this home, causing the breakfast bar to be relocated. Instead of being attached to the central kitchen island, the bar has migrated to the window wall, where diners can enjoy the view.

Beige, white and black elements navigate visual depth and temperature.

The TV is hidden inside a wall of clean white floating units.

A Japanese Chabudai-style table forms a ceremonial teahouse.

In the corridor, a modern pedestal sink rises through a moderately cut shelf to form a handwashing station at the front door.

A dark mossy green accent chair adds color to this minimalist living room, while the modular sofa keeps things light with a soft beige upholstery.

A piece of modern wall art adds a rainbow aura to the adjoining kitchen dining room.

Behind the living room, one wall kitchen extends a deep walnut accent as opposed to the white surroundings.

A platform bed with a modern winged bedboard draws a curved theme inside the bedroom, which translates into two beautifully shaped custom floating units. One of the units goes down to hold a bedside table lamp …

… The second murmur unit functions as both a bedside table and a small desk.

Finally we arrive at a home setup on a warm white canvas.

La Trinidad chair by Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia doubles at a cantilevered food peninsula.

Frameless interior doors stand red between the walls.

A single, unstressed bedroom lamp illuminates one side of the modern platform bed, where it emphasizes a linear bed unit.

A gray bed set adds weight to the warm white and wooden decorative scheme.
