White Interiors Warmed by Natural Wood

Measuring 140 square meters, this modern apartment in Chisinau, Moldova, has a white interior with industrial-style concrete partition walls. A modular sofa passes through a warm beige accent through the center of the open plan living space. Wooden effect kitchen cabinets match the soft hue.

Opposite the modern sofa, a TV wall is covered with attractive wood grain panels to increase the viewing temperature, and well hide media.

A luxurious white marble backsplash builds a half-high room divider between the living room sofa and kitchen peninsula. A linear pendant light draws an equal line of light along the kitchen counter and at the same time provides a reading light to the sofa.

The clean white kitchen stops abruptly at a bold, crude concrete statement wall. A black shelf and black appliances add visual weight to the spacious white room.

The arrangement flows openly into the first bedroom.

A whisper of gray plays across the padded bed, which draws a color connection with the raw concrete wall treatment. Modern wall light strikes a strong black line against a white plank wall framed by traditional panel beading.

There is a door to give privacy to the bedroom whenever you want.

A low, linear bedside table lies subtly on the oak floorboards.

Heavy drapes add an exaggerated sense of comfort to the cool design scheme of a bedroom.

The second bedroom in the apartment is covered with beautiful wooden wall panels.

The textured wall panels also provide a practical function, as they provide acoustic value in the second role of the bedroom as a piano room.

In the third double bedroom, a yellow 4 poster bed hits like a beam of sunshine into the surrounding white and gray decor.

Custom storage cabinets float above the liter unit in a pure white finish.

Smooth gray damp walls in the shower area provide a peaceful contrast to modern off-white shower fixtures.

The gray wall treatment flows around on the adjoining wall, where a simple white wall hung toilet and bidet are coordinated with a white vertical radiator.

In the second of our two white interior designs, a wooden coffee table provides pleasing visual warmth.

Black and white woven carpet adds visual weight under the wooden table.

Yellow ceramic bud vases arch across the table top.

A black console table, unique hanging and monochrome artwork form a clever vignette against a clean white entrance wall.

The slim lighting drops a short contrast around a white upholstered bed and a simple white headboard wall.

A floor lamp matches the extreme black finish of the adjacent hanging lamps, and provides task light over a home workshop.

In the bedroom entrance, a full-length mirror enhances the feeling of space

A black bedside table stands on each side of the room, complete with a black and white rug under the bed.

The closet is a comfortable cocoon of wooden closets.

Wooden tin panels texture the bathroom, adding a honey-colored hue behind a clean white basin and black bathroom mirror.

The wooden lath wall treatment returns in the shower room, behind another runner-shaped vanity mirror and a unique pedestal sink.

Concrete tiles subtly contrast the white wall hung toilet and provide a cool industrial-style base for a contemporary black-framed shower.
