Ground gray stone elements, black marble and a deep natural wood tone combine to present this sophisticated home Wood Interior with a bit of style. Displayed by Irina Borysenko, this striking 800 square meter private house in Tallinn, Estonia, is a unique space with a fresh, modern style and a strong character. A dual-height living room makes a striking statement at the heart of the home with a fabulous stone fireplace, a tall bookcase and a surrounding glass mezzanine. A contemporary staircase design climbs to the upper floor on lighted steps to access an impressive master bedroom suite with its own lounge area and home workshop, as well as a gorgeous luxury bathroom.

As we enter the impressive double-height living room, it is the ceiling-mounted fireplace that makes the first impression. The huge chimney flue is suspended over a unique stone fireplace where open flames leap at one end.

A modern sectional sofa and matching ottomans wrap the remaining three sides of the large living room in a U-shaped layout. A light gray saloon rug holds the entire layout together on soft ground.

Wall art adds color to the laconic decorative palette of gray, black, white and wood tone. A black floor lamp tilts a slender arch over the furniture arrangement.

A glass mezzanine wraps around the top of the double high living room, achieving an open connection between both levels of the home. Attention-grabbing modern staircase design climbs between the floors on illuminated wooden and marble base steps and suspended concrete surfaces.

A spectacular, high-rise bookcase draws extra attention to the vertical plane of the double high room. The bookshelf stacks volumes from the living room floor to the mezzanine ceiling. A mature bonsai tree stands in front, warmly lit in the glow of LED super lights.

Two modern chairs and a matching footstool come together on the opposite side of the fireplace in a comfortable conversational layout. Their proximity to the bookshelf also makes this a welcome reading corner by the fireplace.

A huge wide room divider also climbs to the high heights of the living room, where it subtly screens the stairs without impeding natural light flow. Uplights moodily illuminate the vertical fins.

The base of the latticed structure is used as a low bench seat. Soft seat cushions provide a comfortable landing. Books and a decorative bowl adorn the end of the low snail seating area.

The formal dining room seats up to ten guests at a large wooden dining table. A trio of stunning dining room lights make a sculptural impact over the modern dining set. Green views present a wonderful two-way panorama.

Modern track lights even pass through lighting through the neighboring kitchen, where an efficient kitchen island shares the layout.

A bank of appliance housing units, open shelf towers and wine storage racks build a wall of warm wood tone. Bright black integrated devices make a dark contrast.

Illuminated upper cabinets place a golden sheen against a cool, luxurious gray stone back wall that climbs up to the ceiling line. Black base units strike a dark underline.

Wooden kitchen stools contrast beautifully with the monolithic gray stone kitchen island.

Upstairs in the master bedroom, a gray upholstered bed is wrapped in a tailored, winged headboard design.

A pair of bedroom chairs and a small glass side table were arranged next to the windows as a place to enjoy morning coffee together, or to read a book in solitude. Vertical linear wall lights brightly illuminate this relaxed area at night.

A modern gray bedroom rug lies a soft base around the bed.

Behind the winged headboard design, a small home workspace is placed in a comfortable corner. Unique wall shelves decorate the space above it with practical storage. The entrance to the en-suite bathroom is framed by black, sliding muxarabi screens.

The en-suite bathroom is a luxurious space with a huge floor to ceiling picture window. A view from the top of a tree gives the room a sense of peace and tranquility. A unique bathtub is set up in front of the serene view, as the ideal place in which to let problems float away.

A modern towel is set up at the foot of the bathtub, with hooks for a dressing tray and a mirror. A black marble floor with a striking white vein joins the monochrome bathroom.

Repositionable track lights pass through the center of the bathroom, leading the way from the tub to the shower.

Opposite the bathtub, a flute marble feature wall draws attention to the modern bathroom. Open shelf units provide plenty of bathroom for clean towels and toilet supplies.

Marble cladding is applied behind a wall hung toilet and a compatible bead as well.

In the shower area, the flute marble wall treatment returns to create an attractive wet wall. LED strip lights highlight the deeply grooved texture. Heated towels are installed just outside the shower to keep towels fresh.

Black shower devices fuse into the dark stone.

A frameless vanity mirror makes a sharp yet understated addition to the vanity area.

A niched shelf tower separates the wall-surprised toilet and bidet with a pillar of contrast.
