Restful Home Designs is not just about aesthetics, it affects how we feel while we are in our homes. When the outside world is hectic or gray due to urban dirt, it is helpful to create a light and quiet space that you will love to come home to. The two serene home interiors we are exploring here today are designed to give a sense of peace with light neutral furniture and smooth finishes. Modern wall panels build a comfortable cocoon around airy living spaces, building a soothing atmosphere of safe haven. We will look at practical arrangements that achieve a relaxed environment for daily living, master bedrooms that promote sleep, and effective comfortable lighting schemes.

A wall of wooden storage units makes a smooth and serene backdrop for the open plan living space of our first quiet modern home interior.

The open concept is cut into sections of a large comfortable sofa and a clear modern kitchen island. A round coffee table marks the core of the lounge area in smooth, lightweight stone. A smaller, contrasting black table and a black floor lamp make bold accents along with the lighter elements of the living room.

A sofa chase section creates a subtle visual stop at the end of the lounge area.

The sectional sofa follows the border of a softly designed and toned rug that defines the living room of the adjoining dining room.

In the dining room, a strip of mirror is installed under the floating storage cabinets to achieve a light and wide optical illusion.

The TV wall features an attractive installation of modern wood wall panels that alternate between a simple smooth finish and a trendy flute texture. A slim media shelf cuts through the light grain.

Two chic dining room lights elegantly anchor the open-plan dining room in place. They hang low to the dining table to create an intimate atmosphere.

The kitchen island has a clear modern aesthetic with an elegantly raised countertop design.

The finish of the kitchen island connects with the light stucco kitchen wall and a block of matching base and wall units. Underestimated wood equivalents warmly frame the pale stucco effect. Black appliances, black kitchen faucet and adjustable track lights make a smart contrast.

Another black track-collar installation makes its way up and over the master bedroom design. A black bedroom hanging light balances the other side of the room.

The cream-padded bed is complemented by a luxurious padded headboard wall. The soft fabric helps alleviate noise for a restful night’s sleep.

A wooden panel neatly wraps around the window wall, ending at the deep collections of a luxurious bedroom.

The bedroom hanging light comes down on a simple, minimalist liter unit that has neat storage in its base for books.

A vertical strip is removed from the padded headboard wall to make room for a comfortable pillar of mood light next to the bed.

At the foot of the bed, a table is equipped with a lighted vanity mirror.

A glass vase adorns a set of mini-storage boxes that neatly store accessories and makeup.

The custom wardrobe is tidy behind saving sliding doors. Built-in shelf contains shoes, small luggage and bins of off-season items.

Recessed spotlights provide the wardrobe with interior lighting.

In the home entrance, a unique modern puff is set up next to a wide full-length hallway mirror. LED strip lights are hidden around the edge of the mirror to emit a warm and atmospheric glow.

A closet is located on the opposite side of the front door.

The shower room has a clean and inviting scheme of cream stucco and a warm wood tone. A large bathroom mirror increases the feeling of space in the compact room.

A modern bathroom faucet is paired with a unique sink design where water drains into a crevice dump at the back of a sloping base.

Individual towels climb up a narrow wall space next to the door.

Black shower fixtures contrast sharply with the pale damp wall.

Textured TV wall attracts a lot of attention in our second featured home design.

A large rug adds softness under the living room, warmly dabbing it from a cool concrete floor. The only accent chair is the Etc. Lounge Chair by Jan Ekselius for Swedish brand Artilleriet.

The lounge operates around a large L-shaped formation, which makes room for a more secluded formal dining room. A round rug defines a separate, small seat at the back of the room, where LED strips illuminate cayenne wall panels.

In the kitchen, wooden bar stools furnish a breakfast bar, while more dining chairs complement an informal family dining room.

Large windows bring natural light and a serene garden view.

In the home entrance, a textured, runway-shaped sideboard completes the flute wall panels.

The modern staircase has an ethereal presence, standing in pure white marble.

Moving to the master bedroom, a white bedroom rug lays a light break on a wooden chevron floor.

A flute feature wall makes a textile addition behind the headboard.

A wall-mounted vanity unit touches down on the edge of floating media to create a smooth, stepped effect.
