This 190 square meter interior in St. Petersburg, Russia, lives under experimental color combinations. The client asked to compensate for the lack of sunny days in the city with an interior decoration painted with a positive atmosphere “in which there will always be summer”.

The accommodation is intended as an occasional city residence, which can arrange informal meetings with partners, as well as to use holidays with family. The design team experimented with bright shades, contemporary paintings, decorative panels, and the spirit of travel and adventure.

The complex homeowner did not want to see a typically high-quality wooden, marble and brass concept, and instead wanted an unexpected and surprising approach. A fantastic interpretation of natural stone was artistically carried out across the television wall to satisfy the unorthodox report.

While traditional wood and marble appear, the composition is fresh and original. The wooden round pedestal dining table is surrounded by amethyst and mustard dining chairs, creating a bold break from the norm.

Privacy was an essential consideration for the client, so this corridor separates as much as possible the master bedroom from the common area. Entrances to the guest and the laundry room are hidden inside the entrance wall.

Tube-shaped hanging lights hang in triplets over the bedside units. The bed is pulled forward from the window to allow soft gray sheets to fold gently to the floor behind a large padded bed sheet.
