A calm white, pale gray and soothing wooden tone decor encourages a sense of peace in these two Asian Inspired Home Interiors. Wooden storage furniture is created around the perimeter of the interior to include decorative grille sections that give a stylish nod to shoelace displays. Rattan accents and wooden furniture embrace both traditional and modern aesthetics, which make a gentle tonal accompaniment to the natural wood elements. Each apartment design creates a spacious and welcoming apartment with minimalist but warm access. Lighting is soft and relaxed to ensure that nothing in the home is striking or dominant so that everything flows in a serene balance.

In home design number one, the Asian influence is present from the start with a shoji-screen-inspired storage wall that stands as a focus behind the living room sofa.

The living room is a large and spacious design with a warm and welcoming appeal. The built-in wooden cabinets that trim the perimeter of the living room spread visual warmth and natural beauty.

A rustic coffee table brings the warm wood tone accent to the center of the living room layout. A clean white tufted sofa surrounds the wooden coffee table in an inviting L-shape that promotes interaction and conversation.

A large rug holds the living room furniture together on one light and textured island.

Interesting ornaments, a collection of coffee table books, and a wooden fruit bowl attractively adorn the wooden coffee table with equally earthy tones.

A cushioned lounge chair completes the lounge furniture. Its white upholstery uniformly matches the modular sofa design and tones with the jute rug.

Opposite the tufted sofa, a large wooden media unit is inserted into the stucco. Unlike the rest of the room, the stucco in this area is tinted with a soft brown hue to create a warm focal point. Bookcases line each side of the wall-mounted TV to create an attractive boundary and visual balance.

The wall of wooden storage that pulls around the back of the living room in an L-shape is actually the kitchen. Much of the kitchen is hidden behind flat-faced wooden panels, leaving only the kitchen sink open for immediate access.

A row of storage cupboards underscores the TV unit, providing neat hiding places for DVDs, video game devices and remote controls.

A tall living room floor lamp stands like an elegant paper lantern over in the corner of the room, where it gently casts the shadows at dusk.

The rest of the living room area is illuminated by one-way track lights that cut a thin black line across the ceiling. The edge-to-edge, floor-to-ceiling window is clad in a translucent cover that allows natural daylight to filter into the living room while still providing a sense of privacy.

Recessed perimeter lights emit a pleasant glow around the edges of the living room, allowing homeowners to create different atmospheric settings within their lighting plan. More books pile up between the two chairs in the living room of this book lover.

An open door leads from the living room into the home entrance so that natural light is shared between the living room and the hallway. A built-in bench gives the homeowners somewhere to sit while putting on shoes.

A wooden panel matches the hidden kitchen to create an equal wood tone through the entrance of the living room.

Home workspace is well placed behind the sofa.

A wooden floor embraces the entire open plan living space to maintain coherence, while the floor in the hallway changes to a hard gray surface.

A rustic side table is joined with decorative bowls and a small floor lamp to form an attractive vignette.

A side table made up of wooden boxes accompanies the desk, providing a home for more books and an indoor plant.

The desk is accessorized with a traditional table lamp.

Rotary doors hide a stock of office supplies.

The second of our two prominent home designs is an equally inviting apartment, wrapped in natural wood tone cabinets.

Tiglum points to a plinth by the window.

In the center of the living room, a round coffee table places a wooden core. A modular gray sofa is arranged in a bilateral formation.

One side of the sofa looks at an open bookcase and a bench of floating wooden cupboards to create a quiet reading room.

The opposite side of the sofa faces a downlight.

The screen falls in front of a gallery wall, which gives the space an attractive focus when the screen is retracted.

A light carpet gives the sofa area a soft anchor.

The living room pulls around in an L-shape to fit next to the kitchen dining room. A breakfast bar is created around a structural support column to create a positive out of a possible negative layout problem. Two wooden bar stools pull up close.

Three elegant pendant lights stretch along the bar. See more ideas for island lighting.

Behind the support column, the kitchen island is amalgamated with the dining table.

The master bedroom is a minimalist space with a custom wooden deck design.

Late detailing gives the headboard a modern twist.

A small bedroom hanger hangs over a floating liter unit that seems to protrude from the wooden headboard.

Two front walls of closets create a wardrobe.

Toleta Island makes good use of the wide space.
