A simple palette of warm beige tones and fresh white elements form a soft Detailed Interiors background in which smaller decorative details can shine. These three modern home designs each place a specific focus on high-end finishes, including beautiful modern wall paneling and classic woodwork, very stylish designer furniture and delicious contemporary lighting solutions. In this creative collection, three different talented designers put their own twist on the theme, to provide us with lots of ideas for our own spaces. We will visit elegant high-end open-plan living spaces with chic kitchen designs, unique bedrooms with bespoke furniture, perfect washrooms and inspiring home workshops.
In the first of our three featured home designs, a tufted sofa adds deep details to a soft beige and white decor. A black accent cushion provides a moment of dark contrast on the light sofa upholstery, which is balanced by a decorative bowl on the coffee table below the front.
A matching tufted ottoman and living room floor lamp form a passing place for a short reading and short assignments.
Coffee table books accompany the decorative bowl on the modern coffee table to build a casual but elegant headpiece.
The projectable living room has an empty white wall facing the sofa, decorated only with low, linear media and a pair of handmade black terracotta vases. A color-blocked paint effect adds a slice of gray behind the two elements to join them together, while a shallow chimney runs underneath.
Behind the tufted sofa, pale wood grain and white marble kitchen design extend across the entire width of the back wall, with a dining island located outside in front.
A modern, elegant dining room hanger is suspended low above the small dining table, which gives the area an emphasis on the open plan concept.
LED strips neatly illuminate the white back and its luxurious marble grain. Rotary doors provide appliances with a fashionable textured finish.
Proper storage is fused with modern wall panels to build a warm beige edge around a coordinating beige padded crib. A mini wall is positioned above a modern puff, where parents can decide to read bedtime stories.
On the other side of the room, a run of wardrobes walks toward a child’s study area. Floating shelves seem to stand out from a smooth wooden wall panel to achieve a neat, custom look.
In the master bedroom, a winged headboard is built to perfectly fit the width of the space.
Matching table lamps flank the bed in a mirror image, while two mini-frames show abstract artwork in a concise but asymmetrical fashion.
A narrow partition wall briefly divides the sleeping space from the closet.
Usually, a carved mirror crystal cut the wall next to the window, which helps to reflect the flow of natural light. A pair of small, modern wall lights echo the tiny, square aesthetic of the artwork on the opposite wall.
The oak floor of the bedroom continues into the closet to achieve a cohesive flow.
Large-format stone tiles hang a textured background that floods into the floor.
Our second home tour begins in an open plan living room where a large carpet area defines a sophisticated lounge area.
A curved sofa design turns into an impressive modern fireplace wall, where the flames flicker right from the center, next to a reading chair.
Two modern wall lamps project from a dark break in the greige and wooden wall finish, creating a radiant pause.
A huge island cuts through the center of the large kitchen design, making way for an inviting breakfast bar and a six-seater dining table.
A linear pendant light draws a dark accent down from the ceiling, where track lights are mounted within equal black paths.
Latite wall panels complete the fluted kitchen island.
The black trail lights cut around the perimeter of the kitchen and into the hallway, hitting an upper path of the living room.
Behind the kitchen island, a white kitchen installation is interrupted by elegant black appliances.
The master bedroom is dominated by a wide upholstered bed design and a striking adjoining hanger.
A unique bedside table lamp illuminates the other side of the bed in a silhouette that seems to smoothly emulate the designer bedroom chair.
One of two modern home offices is endowed with a super-chic desk and a compatible side table.
The second home workshop is just as well furnished with a marble desk and custom bookcases.
In our final featured home design, woodwork wall panels give a classic feel. An arc floor lamp draws a precise, curved line in the center of the living room that complements a round coffee table and side combination.
The large living room contains a single kitchen, which is designed to merge peacefully with the beige boiserie, and with a white marble partition at the front entrance.
Dark paint defines a graceful arched doorway that leads to the private residence.
A stone basin equips a convenient wash area at the front door.
A unique bedroom hanging light adds a beautiful detail on one side of the bed while a wooden panel workspace textures the other.
The second bedroom is designed with black and white chevron rug. Two bedroom chairs continue the black and white combo.
Bedroom number three is tailored with custom wardrobes and custom floating liter units. A black LED table lamp provides reading light.
