Bathroom Designs, Our bathrooms are a place where we should push the boundaries of imagination. They are our escape from the world, our private sanctuary. Bathrooms should be ceremonial spaces where we can get rid of the toxins of the day, both physically and emotionally. It can be difficult to push bathrooms beyond what is practical: a bathtub, a vanity, the toilet. However, a bathroom can be much more than its facilities. This fabulous collection of 51 aesthetic bathroom designs is packed with bathroom decorating ideas that are exciting and amazing. Botanical interludes startle the natural world, rock baths and characteristic walls excite fear, and unique bathroom arrangements bubble over a plot.

Artistic elegance. Classic artwork mounted inside a strange modern setting builds a fun juxtaposition for an eclectic bathroom. A silhouette of a bathroom with a modern matte gray finish straddles two eras of elegant style.

Textures and lighting. Take the most fashionable lath panel aesthetic into the bathroom with a textured bathtub design and highlight it with atmospheric mood lighting.

The stone lath finish is taken on an attention-grabbing feature wall in this bathroom. Roof windows and narrow plank flooring complete the linear detail.

Modern melts. This specified micro cement bathtub and pedestal sink are designed to melt into the floor with smooth, invisible joints. A fluted glass privacy screen and a unique vanity mirror echo the curved edge aesthetic.

Another fused bathtub design, this handmade tub seems to stand out straight from the smooth cement floor. An incredible rock face feature wall provides a deep textural contrast.

Match the decorative palette to the bathroom. This desert home is inspired by a sand and rock panorama to form a cream and stone bathroom. The space is kept open and minimal, as is the outdoor environment.

Layers of love. If you love gardening or are just a wild Mother Nature yourself, why not add layers of plant love to your bathroom according to your personality? Complement the lush greenery with a rich, natural wood tone and cool stone gray.

Fresh air and blue skies inspire this fresh bathroom decor. A pale blue stucco draws a cool curtain around a wall of ripe cacti. There is no window in this bathroom, only a skylight, but the sky blue walls and botanical decoration create an exterior feel.

Secret garden. Strong gray stone walls, floors and plumbing fixtures, and a plethora of climbing plants make for a spectacular indoor-outdoor mix that feels steeped in mystery, magic and wonder.

Cut out platforms and stepping stones with line slabs and pebble edges. Add a hidden strip of LED light around the edge of the bathtub platform to enhance the look.

Keep your eye moving. You can create the illusion of added space and depth in your bathroom with mixed wall textures and materials.

Take advantage of the private garden views. This fabulous luxury bathroom design is built to absorb the luxurious garden panorama through huge double looks. Black window frames cause an extreme black contrast against the cream bathroom decorative palette to encourage the effect.

Piet Mondrian inspired spaces. Red, blue and yellow accents placed in bold black outlines create an abstract bathroom.

Add a central focus with an abstract modern rug. In this unique bathroom layout, a solid black bathtub and a double vanity unit create individual sculptural elements around the rest of the room.

Take a step up. If you are blessed with high ceilings in your bathroom, then take advantage of the added vertical space with a split floor. A tiny staircase that is highlighted by LED strip lights will make the climb feel more special.

Combine your shower with a picturesque patio. A small tree or fast-growing bamboo will quickly fill the void. A crown of green leaves under a skylight will playfully filter out sunshine to evoke a serene shower.

Double the courtyard effect with double looking bathroom windows. Contrast the light-filled void with dark bathroom decor to achieve a dramatic contrast.

All white in soft light. A matte white shower head against a white tiled wall and a white runway-shaped bathtub on a matching floor give this clear bathroom design a peaceful aesthetic. LED light slowly pours from an embedded shelf to accentuate smooth silhouettes.

Cherry blossom dreams. If bathing under a pink flower is not the material from which dreams are made, then we do not know what it is.

Make a water bed for your bathroom with a beautiful reflective pool. Footsteps provide a delicate bridge to bath time.

Give an existing modern bathroom a new flavor with colorful boho rugs and bright towels.

Settle in the rays of the sun. All the striking details in this bathroom are placed under a sunroof, including a unique stone bathtub and a majestic bonsai. An open shower area is raining down on the rocky floor here as well.

Grow an atmosphere of vigor with a densely planted vertical garden. Edge-to-edge, floor-to-ceiling planting will revive your bathroom feature wall literally.

Combine natural stone floors and stucco walls with the warmth of wicker to evoke a cool, nomadic atmosphere.

Add a class with a glass. Luxurious bathrooms require a luxurious bathtub, and a chic glass design is suitable for the bill. Equip yourself with a luxurious faux fur rug for a luxurious feel underfoot, and a modern fireplace to give the place a golden sheen.

Printed tiles and murals. Bathroom murals are printed on large-format wall tiles nowadays, so why not form a fabulous floral feature wall that will never fade.

Cure quirky pieces. Each piece of this bathroom is a completely individual piece of design that should not complement the next, and yet, it all comes together as one fabulously artistic cure. Open your mind, pick each of your favorite things and trust the process.

Lowered below the city, this bathtub allows the sight to be the hero. Although, this perfectly polished concrete platform is also quite striking.

Cut over the rest with curves. An oversized round mirror, round bathroom lights, a trendy runway-shaped bathtub, and an arched motif main wall come together to achieve an elegant shaped theme.

Another extraordinary curvature creature.

Pink is a color that communicates intimacy with its delicate tone, making it a wonderful shade for a bathroom. Use pink bath tiles to color block one side of the room, while the rest of the room provides a quiet balance in light gray and fresh white.

If bolder colors are your favorite way, go all out with a clearly defined color collision. This purple wall acquires a classic detail in the form of a square panel molding, while the modern vanity is subtly latticed.

Even tiny bathrooms can be a whole lot of fun. Think texture, light and a love of botany.

Beautifully boho, all-natural materials make a bathroom feel inviting, comfortable and stress-free.

The band. Combine bathtubs and showers behind one screen for a simplified bathroom.

Many industrial pendant lights turn a modern bathroom into a starlight experience.

Don’t have time to worry about a vertical garden? Thank you. Botanical print wall coverings are here to save the day.

Bathe under the forest canopy with an edge-to-wheel roof window. Perimeter lights frame the view.

It’s all about the architecture. Let the structure of your home be your guide.

A bathroom that is barely there. A particularly good choice for an indoor bathroom, this minimalist shower installation and sunken bathtub blend into their backyard.

Build a grand entrance. Each wooden section of this unique bathroom floor is illuminated to create atmospheric reflection in the curved bathtub design. Dark surroundings make for an appropriately dramatic background.

Moroccan magic. A lambrequin arch and Moroccan-style pendant lights evoke a striking space.

Say yes to yellow — not only in paint and tile, but also in covered fixtures and fittings.

Monochrome and marble. Cut out a luxurious white marble background with a contrasting black marble vanity unit and modern faint black wall-mounted faucets.

Duplicate it. There are double wash vanity units, so why not double bath tubs? If you have the space, you can have whatever your heart desires.

Reason the room. It’s easy to stick to the perimeter when it comes to creating a new bathroom layout, but partial partition walls are a complete game changer.

No place for a beauty parlor? Just use the shower.

Space to relax. Contemplate this notion as you interact with others. Think more nature, and fewer complications.

Rustic relaxation. Wooden beams and candle light, should we say more?

Golden romance. Satin gold bathrooms, bright white décor, chic pleated window dressing, and a tub-shaped floral display require bubbles and romance.

Industrial minimalism. Utilitarian and unique, this minimalist space speaks of simplicity. Small moments of industrial style plot keep the eye engaged.

There’s nothing like the opportunity to get out of bed and go straight to your own bathroom. Or, taking long, loose night bubbles right next to your bed. Modern in-bathrooms are becoming more and more integrated with the bedroom, whether with free-flowing open plan arrangements, wide arched doors, or glass murder designs. This special selection of 40 in-bathroom bathrooms shows you how to style fabulous in-bathroom spaces that you will love to look at from under your cover. From extraordinary rustic and rock-lined interiors to modern elegant marble wonders, both luxuriously large and comfortably compact, this inspirational collection has it all.

Well rounded design. Okay, so not everyone has a cylindrical mansion in the mountains, but we had to include this spectacular in-in-room as inspiration for unique bathroom picture windows. This rounded perspective from the floor to the ceiling makes a great setting for dreamy bathing times.

Back to nature. Bathing takes people down to their natural form, so a naturally kissed intricate bathroom scheme seems especially appropriate. Install a vertical garden to wrap your space with greenery. Pebbles can form a garden-like path to the tub, while pebble rugs and puffs take the aesthetic into the bedroom.

Slab contraction joints should intersect at the openings for columns and should intersect at the openings for columns. Continue the stone-inspired palette with a soft gray bed and matching rug.

This round carpet reflects the outline of a spectacular skylight. The bathroom tub bites at the edge of the woven mat, along with a group of wicker planters.

Create a pause. A rustic wooden pillar causes a short visual pause between this sleeping area and an en-suite bathroom. The pillar that supports the edge of a glass partition wall is just interesting enough to make the eye stop without becoming a dominant distraction.

Glass boxes and greens. Generous ceiling heights can be enjoyed overall or shared at will. In this case, an open floor bedroom and a glass built-in bathroom volume was formed below the ceiling line so that an indoor garden can be installed upstairs.

Cut it with color. A large bedroom can contain many areas, from the bedroom and living room to reading and work. An open-plan bedside bedroom can get lost in the mix, so why not stand out from the crowd with a show-stopping ruby-red glass bathtub?

The headboard wall makes an ideal point at which to make the separation between a sleeping space and an en-suite bathroom. In this neoclassical example, a decorative label flows between the two spaces to preserve the aesthetic flow.

An alternative way to share your bedroom to include an en-suite bathroom is with a double-sided fireplace. Place the fireplace at the foot of the bed to warm your toes and the tub.

Modern and marble-clad. This white marble beauty gets a modern twist with a black tripod floor lamp instead of a typical bathtub chandelier.

Flexible industrial backgrounds. Exposed masonry is suitable for both industrial style bedrooms and humid bathrooms, so works great in a nearby bed / bath.

Do you love spas? Do you love books? Combine the two to make your dream come true. The only problem we can see is that you may never want to leave your home again!

Bathrooms building blocks. If you have the floor area, consider fragmenting your bathrooms into separate blocks that complement the whole picture. This abstract arrangement gives couples more space to comfortably share the facilities without feeling crowded, and without cutting into two separate bathrooms.

Another successful bedroom / bathroom shared by a modern fireplace. This time, the fireplace wall is also used as a toilet storage room to serve the tub.

Create balance. Marble dressing rooms can make a cool contrast with warm wood-clad bedrooms. Help the fusion by introducing areas of cool stone into the bedroom scheme.

This bedroom interior balances its glass wall in the bathroom design with a stone-gray rug that loudly echoes a stone bed under the freestanding bathtub.

Mirror image. A centrally located doorway into an in-room offers an ideal opportunity to create mirrored vanity areas.

Solve window wall puzzles with vain mirrors in the ceiling and free-standing pedestal sinks.

A mini partition wall makes a subtle visual stop and a useful mount for bankers.

Complement a stone headboard feature wall with a custom stone bathtub.

Pull a boldly colorful bathtub into the bedroom decor scheme, without reducing its impact, with a single matching accent cushion.

This blue glass bathtub catches the eye to see an ocean panorama at the window.

Amber glass bathtubs create a high-end mood. Equip with smoked glass shower screens and dark metals.

Scandinavian simplicity. Don’t let a small bedroom push you away if there is room for a tub, then your hollow vision can come true. Stick to a simple white bathtub and tiles, with a clean Scandinavian style to maximize a sense of space.

Visually anchor an open concept bathtub with an arched decoration. A sunken arch also makes a decorative place in which to install useful bathroom shelves.

You could literally roll out of bed and into this shower below without even opening your eyes.

Do you want to enjoy the garden view, but are too afraid that the gardener might appear unannounced? A small privacy screen will cover you.

Mark the change in function between an open floor bedroom and a bathroom with a change in ceiling texture, like this attractive wooden lath finish.

Place one area on a platform. Whether it’s the bed or the bathroom, placing one of these areas on a raised platform floor will create a clear zoning.

When a bathtub is uniquely beautiful, just let it shine.

Humorous lighting can serve both a bedroom and a bathroom through a glass partition.

Visually anchor a free-standing bathtub with an attention-grabbing light, like this sculptural modern sputnik chandelier. The sturdy stone base under the bath is also very cool.

Bathtubs that mix. If you don’t want your tub in front and in the middle, choose a piece that matches your bedroom decorative palette and create a matching background.

Shade of pink. Neutrals are beautiful but the color theory that surrounds pink speaks of soothing and intimate qualities. Sounds pretty perfect for a private living room.

Transparent transitions. This glass shower screen is echoed by a glass head wall feature to achieve one transparent flow.

Where the weather is hot for it, use large balcony areas to bathe outdoors in the invigorating fresh air …

… Or take the whole gear and cabin out with a cabin design.

Sliding doors provide the flexible option of open plan and private bathroom use.

Medium-high partition walls avoid difficult ceiling shapes.
