The arched theme communicates elegance, strength and modest beauty, but how do we assimilate the classically inspired arched trend into our modern home decor? Today we will explore how interior arches can be introduced into our living room spaces, dining rooms, kitchens and even bedrooms with subtlety and grace, using three inspiring home projects pictured by Elemental Design. These spaces have everything from arched home workshops, built-in shelf corners and arched chandeliers, to beautifully shaped cabinet door cuts, arched themed artwork, modern mirrors and decorative wall paint ideas. We will also see a fusion with the similarly rounded tops of racetrack elements, curved furniture contours and rounded accessories that complement the arched aesthetic.<\/p>\n

A striking arch is located in a dead center of the living room in this modern home, where it forms an elegant background behind a small sofa. On the other side of the living room rug, an arch-supported lounge chair adds a complementary curve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Two round coffee tables are grouped in the center of the living room, under a graceful counterbalanced arched chandelier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Round rattan screens border a treasured Buddhist altar, lightly separating it from the TV wall and media cabinet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The arched device behind the living room sofa is actually a compact home workshop, tucked into a row of custom storage areas. The attractive white and wooden built-in warmly commands the combination of the living room dining room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Moving into the kitchen dining space, a modern dining table and chairs stand extend below Model 2065<\/a> pendant lights designed by Gino Sarfatti for Danish brand Astep.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Another wall of storage holds wine, glasses and decorative objects close to the table.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The table stands opposite the kitchen peninsula, allowing diners to easily engage the cook.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A combination of white and wooden kitchen units builds a clean and warm aesthetic around the room. A bright black fridge freezer adds a bold accent that ties in with the integrated oven and black kitchen accessories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the main room, the main theme is exchanged for the similarly smoothed tops of runway-shaped elements. Rattan-backed running cutouts form a fashionable wardrobe project next to the bed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A natural woven rug places a round accent on the floor to balance a circular vanity mirror on the other side of the bed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Relaxed rattan accents dominate in the second bedroom of the home, where a rattan chair matches a rattan design. A round mirror adds a curved silhouette over a sharp modern drawing board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In our next home design, an arched corner creates an elegant setting for a raised altar shelf. A lower corner is used as a niched bookshelf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A cool gray sofa is accented with warm apricot cushions. A suitable gray ottoman is curved complemented by a round modern wall lamp.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The rectangular dining table combines white and wooden finishes to coordinate with the two-tone kitchen cabinet layout.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pierre Jeanneret’s Armchair occupies one side of the table, while a casual dining bench occupies the other side. Pure white dining room pendant lights allow daylight to pass through from the kitchen window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
